Well the ship is now returning to the station, so you can wait in the Celtic Corner (the Ten Forward of SS Avalon ) until the ship arrives.

The Evolution went on a classified mission into Delta Alliance space (the Delta Alliance is an alliance of 9 D.A. species, that have formed something similar to the U.F.P. with also peaceful intentions). That mission being over, the Evolution (accompanied by the U.S.S. Rivendell) wants to cross D.A. space again to return home, and finds that the D.A. has turned against them (this after an internal dispute between two D.A. factions). Chief Ardwyad of the A.S.C. Revox (D.A. ship) was a former friend and ally of captain Sanchez, and is now intent on opposing Starfleet. What happens next, is for all to find out soon

I guess I'll fill you in now on what is going on... I'll try to be as brief and yet as clear as possible, but if you have any questions go ahead and ask
There is a planet in the Delta Quadrant called Loxius. It's inhabitants, called the Loxians, are divided in two: there are those who live on the planet, under a corrupt government that only wants power and more power; and those that the government has exiled from the planet, because they refused to obey to the government.
These Exiles are "freedom fighters" who want to make their homeworld free again, and have gathered all people and ships they could find. A war has begun between the two.
Meanwhile, captain Randall Sanchez (me ) has met one of the Loxian Exile generals, a woman called Zayan (I'm sure you can guess who she is ). While he didn't know, she secretly travelled to Loxius to help the Exiles in the war, but in the process the Government has taken her prisoner, and is going to execute her for "treason".
Meanwhile, Sanchez finds out from his ship's doctor, that Zayan is actually pregnant, and that he is the father! so of course, he wants to rescue her...
All this happened when another war (but that is an entirely different story) was just about finished, and the U.S.S. Evolution, Sanchez' ship, was heavily damaged. So Flag Admiral Vorak decided to take the ship out of use. So therefore, Sanchez couldn't use the ship any more, and asked Vorak for another ship so he could travel to Loxius and rescue Zayan.
But Vorak was stubborn, and refused Sanchez to either take the Evolution, or any other ship. So Sanchez did the one thing that he could do, even though it was illegal: he stole the Evolution from the docking bay of Avalon Station, and took it to Loxius.
So now the ship is near Loxius, and has just arrived there, but Sanchez (as well as his crew) are not there legally, because they are acting AGAINST orders. So they are not working for Starfleet now, but for personal reasons.
Meanwhile, Sanchez has received the support of the Loxian Exiles, who have agreed to help him find Zayan. A whole plan has been worked out, in where the U.S.S. Evolution will have to throw itself into the battle lines of the enemy, and then launch a small shuttle that should get Sanchez unnoticed through the lines and on the surface of Loxius. When the Evolution ends up being destroyed, the U.S.S. Rivendell (the ship of captain Taurik that has also agreed to help Sanchez and the Evolution) will beam out all other people to save them from being killed, of course. (and dont worry, this doesn't mean the end of the Evolution, there will just be a bigger and better one )

The Evolution has entered newly discovered "Delta Alliance" space. The Delta Alliance is something similar to Starfleet, but founded by Delta Quadrant species. The existance has been discovered by Starfleet only recently, and this is our first ambassadorial mission in their territory. We have first visited the Temples of Sordinan, where an unknown entity of energy has assaulted us, and another unknown race has saved us from it. Now, we have arrived in the Traquel space area of the Delta Alliance, where they will help us perform repairs and upgrades to the ship. The crew of the ASC Revox will give us a formal visit and get a tour around the ship.

Jack Siren: yes a ship named A.S.C. Revox came with us, and is docking to the station still (they don't know the Starfleet procedures yet, after all). The Evolution is currently called on an urgent mission, but the ASC Revox is still at Avalon Station. Please check the "Docking Bay" forum on Avalon Station (Starfleet HQ board) to welcome them

There is currently a storyline taking place on station Avalon. A disease is spreading there among the highest ranked admirals, that causes them to go insane and act weird and all that. So our arrival at station Avalon promises to be fun

Yes it is true, though their territory is still far from this location. Several years of travel from here at maximum warp, in fact. So there isn't a major Borg presence in this particular sector. We have stumbled onto them once or twice, but there have been no major battles with them. So far, they haven't gotten too interested yet.

Yes The Captain Is currently on Station Avalon, you would know if you go to Mission 3 and read most of the posts there.
