I was afraid theyd come into it.  We have all ready had encounters with the borg, wa sonly a mater of time before 8472 showed there heads.

OFF: yes I got your email Zach, thanks for letting me know

"Hmm, Species 8472 seem quite a dangerous species. I'm not sorry for not having run into them yet.  What I read from reports from Voyager's time in the Delta Quadrant and their dealings with Species 8472, it seems they're just as dangerous as the Borg.  So, Mr. Neelix, what is the current treat from them?"

Sadly enough i have the same thoughts running through my mind atm neelix.

GuldoKut to Transporter Room .. 2 to Beam up

Sanchez and the away team, including Guldokut, materialize in a small transporter room of an alien ship.  Neelix is waiting in front of them.

Sanchez steps off the transporter platform and extends his hand.

"Mr. Neelix, I am captain Sanchez of the U.S.S. Evolution, it is a great honour to meet you in person."

"Now I see why you thought it was so serious you wanted to tell this in person.  So what do you know about them, Neelix?"

Neelix walked to a control panel on a wall, pushed some buttons and on a wall screen, a star map appeared.

"This is where we are located now. That region over there is the Dark Passage, which you probably know too.  But I heard that Cardassians reside there and certainly they'll hold back the threaths from the Loxians and other warlike species, so we don't need to be bothered by them as long as we don't enter the Dark Passage.  But the problem is here..."

*he points at the ending mouth of the Dark Passage, on the map*
(OFF: go to the databases and check the maps)

"Over here, we discovered a fluidic gate.  It's likely to be an opening between our space and fluidic space, where Species 8472 originally come from, since around there, their activities seem to be focussed.   So far, their routes have gone into the direction of the Delta Quadrant (meaning, away from station Avalon and the space sectors where your ships reside mostly) and that's why you haven't had dealings with them so far.   They're a pest in the Delta Quadrant, and even we barely escaped from them -as you can guess from the damage my ship has sustained- but certainly, sooner or later they will discover the location of your stations and ships, and come your way.   And I tell you... they won't leave you with any time to prepare..."

"Mr. Neelix, since your vessel is small and can fit in our largest shuttle bay, I suggest we take your ship on board the USS Evolution, that'll make repairs easier, and then we'll set out to this Fluidic Gate carefully, for a closer study, before we return to Avalon to bring out report."

*looks around*  I must say, this is extremly impressive set-up you have here Mr-neelix.

wow, most impressive, you guys must have had quite the run about with those species, a lot of good intel here, unf my Superiors arent going to be pleased with the news, but then that isnt something new these days.

Neelix! How have you been? I havent seen you since we left you and havent spoken to you since we got to the Alpha Quadrant. I really missed you. So did everyone. You will never believe it....Miral is walking! Yep, I talked to Tom and B'lanna just before I left, I did.

When ya ready Neelix, we can get started, i got a feeling this si going to be a very interesand a majoy eye opening mission, no telling what we can expect at that gate, but im sure glad your coming along.

"Thank you, gentlemen, and thank you for coming so soon.  I would say I prepare you guys some nice dinner, just like in the old times, hey? But I'm afraid there is little time.
I needed to talk to you about a serious threath for the Federation... it is about Species 8472..."

This is indeed very serious news Captain, i know from experienmce from working on the station, that we are very complacent about our position here an dhaventhad a real threat to us as a species or to our security in this quadrant.

What tactical data etc have you got on this species Neelix that could be of use ?

"Very well, I will beam back to the bridge to coordinate the movements of your ship into our shuttlebay with our tractor beams.  Mr. Guldokut, maybe you could stay here with Mr. Neelix to help him with this procedure. Also, Mr. Neelix, I will inform sickbay to stand-by, so they can check all your crewmembers for possible injuries caused by the attack you had."

Neelix: Thank you captain.

"Very well.  Sanchez to Evolution, one to beam up."

*Sanchez disappears*

"That's great to hear, Zach. I admit, I have often thought about the good old days on Voyager, and more than once I wished myself to be back on there again.  But nevertheless I'm happy to hear they found their way home.
Mr. Guldokut, I'm ready when you are. It may sound like an interesting mission, but I tell you, when we get to that fluidic gate, all you'll want to do is get the #### out of there!"
