"Sir i'm picking up some problems in armory, i'll go check it out..."

*leaves to check it out*

Lurado noticed the officer that had traveled with him rise up. He caught a glimpse of the 2 pips on his collar.
"A wonderful ship, isn't in lieutenant? This captain's used to the smaller class, I was shuffled between two defiant classes before now. Nothing made me happier than to hear I was getting command of a Nebula class"

The shuttle docked at the ships shuttlebay, and the captain and science chief exited. "To the bridge with me, if you do not join me, I hope to see you again Lieutenant. It appears we are both newcomers to the Skytoucher"

**As I am conducting my steadfast monitoring of the Doctor's vital signs, I notice that the brain patterns begin to spike again.

"Not, Again"

"Commander, the Doctor's brain patters have spiked again.  We have to stop this, not sure the Doctor can handle this much longer."

** I then realize that the Captain had walked into Sickbay. I begin to give the Captain the report when I am interupted by the commotion happening in the forcefield.

"Captain, the Doctor is slipping in and out of conciousness, and his having Brain Wave spikes that are unhealthy for his nervous......."  **Cuts off in mid sentence


**I point and look at the forcefield...

Indy nodded as Balkazar greeted her. She thought that the force field was a bit cruel, but she totally understood where the Captain was coming from as well. It was the way things had to be.

"She really is an interesting creature. Tis sad that we haven't found any others like her." She studied AK intently, and typed in notes on a little custom computer-scanner that she had made especially for her. It was small and purple. "I wonder if she will be needing any sustinance soon..." she murmured to herself.

Lurado sees Balkazar enter the bridge and turns his head toward his station. "What is the status of our alien friend Chief? If the Science chief can be found I want it to be examined, anything we can find out about it not already known is a must".

OFF: Right, good luck with the dentristry...

*runs diagnostics....*

So you were put in a closed room with the humanoids........and the spiders were attacking you?

*Balkazar then draws the same closed room with the same thing that AK drew but added a scene that the spiders were attacking the humanoids then attacking AK*

Is this what happened ?.........Or did something else happen to you ?........Something similiar ?

Just to help you out Fred so dont take this the wrong way.........RP wise thats all............With a New captain means a new way of getting used to things and getting used to the new captain and all........you may want to take getting to know the crew and officers slowly........Because as a crew we trust our XO who has been with us longest.........its going to take some time for the officers to get to know the new captain.......:).......

"Comm One reporting in, sir. My apologies for the delay. I am ready to proceed."

OFF: Rasmain, people don't have to register on the Starphoenix Division board. It's on the same server, so they're already registered automatically now  

The Doctor feels what are serving as his lips part and utter sounds.  He arranges his face into what he hopes is a friendly expression.
'I wish I could see what this face looks like.  I bet I'm grimacing,' thinks the Doctor.  Aloud he tries to speak calmly and loudly to his fellow crewmates, "If you can hear me, just nod your heads or something.  I'm not sure you're getting me."
The Doctor starts to get the "feel" for this small body and realizes the arms could just be a bit longer.  'Think of all the grand, sweeping gestures I could make then,' he muses.

*Akasayuniashirakomas draws what appears to be a closed room, with some humanoids in it, and some spiders outside surrounding it.*

*Sitting in his temporary quarters  Paul read over some pads of information that Starfleet had given him.  Looking around he would welcome the company of but he would wait until the ship rendevousded with the others. *

*Paul knew that the Skytoucher had been asigned a new captain. Infact it was not to unexpected that the captain was arriving on the same ship as Paul.  He hadn't gone to meet him, but he was sure he would before they reached the Skytouchers coordiantes. Standing up he orders a cup of ice tea from the replicator and takes a sip*

"Dang things never get it right."

It was really strange for Matt, to hear what was happening with the Doctor and the alien aboard. Matt never realized that things can go so wrong so quickly, but Matt was hoping that everything could go right.

Off: Well it seems that I can't really do much, since I'm a security officer. If there is anything that I can do please let me know.

Its ok Kelly......Calm down.......Yes the creature fears us..........shes probly scared that we will do exactly what the race who exterminated her race did.......shes the last of her kind.......as far as we know......

Captain.......I been with this creature the longest and im pretty sure it wouldnt harm anyone unless someone tried to harm it.........That I am sure of......

*the skytoucher away teams beam back aboard the skytoucher.......the security teams go and lay down for awhile and get a check up from the doctor........and the rest of the crew goes about there business...........Balkazar takes AK to the holodeck with the dantor program running....explains where Balkazar needs to go to AK then heads and heads to sickbay to get his wounds checked out.....After that he heads up to the bridge*

Hello Lt......Boniger.........Im going on my rounds........Inform the Captain that all skytoucher crews have returned........

and be nice to the others on the bridge *with a smile balkazar leaves to go on his security rounds........*

*balkazar heads for the security station and motions for 2 guards to follow him to Holodeck 1 where the dantor program is running........balkazar then informs the guards to protect this door round the clock....and they will be relieved in 4 hours intervels

Is the rebuilding of Station Dantor almost complete? And what information do you have about our "alien"?

BIC: Indy had rushed back into the bay as soon as she heard what was happening to the Doctor. She saw the spike in the brain waves, and also that the little alien was waking up, and apparently trying to communicate.

"What's happened, here?" She looked down at the still form of the doctor, worried. The little creature certainly packed a punch when it came to these telepathic things, from the looks of it.

"Have you attended our guests already Commander? Make sure your provide them with the best quarters we have and then report to the bridge again. In the mean time, the Skytoucher will leave spacestation Avalon and head to Dantor, please make sure all provisions and additional equipment are onboard before cargobay-doors are closed.

"Understood Commander, request granted but I do want a full report about your progress."

*Rasmain turned to the Captain*

"Well we have just arrived, so I did not get a full report on the crew down at Dantor. But as far as I've seen, they are now transporting their materials and crew down to the planet and exploring those surroundings."

*The creature looks at Comm One in distrust for a moment, but after a few moments, she looks at Balkazar, who does not seem to feel threathened by Comm One. Her glance goes from Comm One to Balkazar for a few times, and after Comm One had repeated Balkazar's name for a few times, she began to repeat the words as best as she could.*
"Baigassa! Baigassa!"
*She smiles at Balkazar, as if showing pride over her accomplishment. Then she sits up in front of him, and puts her arms around herself as if to hug herself.*
"Tou Akasayuniashirakomas Munich d' Tel Pache Dunorre Laminatcha Sina Tekbat! Tou Akasayuniashirakomas Munich d' Tel Pache Dunorre Laminatcha Sina Tekbat!"

I think it may be best I stayed here Captain.....With all do respect of course........But if I leave I dont know how she would react if I wasnt here..........

Yes she can communicate but i didnt know she was telepathic........she kept communicating with words and some of them I picked up on from the universal translater in the communicators.........she seems to care and shes very intelligent............Aside from that I dont remember much from the avalon report aside from that........

"Eight hours, we will beat the borg cube to the station then...Kaz, try to find what ship is nearest to the station. Something gives me the feeling we are going to be the first of the aid. I know the Nebula class is a large ship, but it's for exploration primarily...Mr. Black, what power can you put into weapons when we arrive? We have plenty of time to work on a way to effect a Borg Cube".

"Sir, I am sorry for my delay but I was kept in Engineering. What are our orders regarding the away-mission?"

*Akasayuniashirakomas listens to everything Balkazar is trying to explain to her, and looks at his drawing. She gazes at it for some time, trying to figure out what it is supposed to be. Then, she seems to understand and laugh, but draws another drawing herself. It appears to look like an oval circle with 12 lines... like a spider with 12 feet... Under it, she draws what appears to be a humanoid being attacked by the spider. Then she makes alarming sounds, as if to try and tell Balkazar what it is.*
"Njew Njew! Najana Njew!"

"There is little need for a senior staff meeting, you ordered us here Admiral. I assumed you had intentions for us? The Skytoucher, I think, was supposed to stay here. Unless you have us return to station Avalon I await word from you".

*Rasmain was standing infront of his chair and nods to the OPS officer to open a channel*

"Understood Captain, we are ready for your arrival."

*Rasmain then walks over to Comm One*

"Comm One, do you know if the Rivendell has already arrived? It's about time to contact the Starphoenix Personel on Dantor."

Lurado entered sickbay and went for the Doctor and other crew's location. "What is the doctors status? We are soon to return teams to Dantor."

"Yes, sir."
*Comm One leaves the bridge and takes the turbolift to the transporter room.*

*Balkazar wakes up from his slumber and notices hes still on the bridge..........he over hears comm ones Droid voice over and comm..........then straightens up and heads for the transporter room*

*few minutes later a fimiliar face to Comm one comes into the transporter room............Balkazar is shocked at this strange Alien and gets a lil concerned*

Comm one......I dont mean any disrespect but WHAT! is that! *and Balkazar points to the new life form*

*then he thinks again about the cargo bay*

Uhhh Comm one...........Another thing.........How are we supposed to accomodate this THING!...........when we dont know what it is ?.........or even HOW! to treat it with respect ?...........Heck I dont think we even know if it can TALK!...............

I know I may come off as a lil concerned about this Comm one..........But Starfleet Regulations state that no unknown alien is to be transported over unless they have a valid reason for being aboard..........So unless you or IT........has a reason to be here I ask you to get permission from Admiral Vorak before you even have that aboard..............Its my job here to make sure the crew and my superior officers are well..........protected.......so please excuse my Concern if it seem over rated ?

Lurado exited the turbolift with much speed, having transported from the planet with the rest of the crew.
"Ensign" He spoke to the helmsman. "Set a course to DS 12, Engage at Maximum warp!"

IC**.......I wouldnt advise that........If there are more dangers down there and the Lt. isnt ready for them it may prove to be her death......and I really dont want that on my mind.......But I cant stop you from going but lately I have been having bad feelings about this whole mission and it wouldnt do any good to have well........A counsilor down there......

"If all is good in engineering, there are few other things to do. I am forced to wait on Admiral Owens, or our own command at Avalon to send word"

Indy had heard the Captain's orders, so she quickly made her way down to sickbay. She had heard a rumor of the creature herself, and had not gotten a chance to see it yet. She had that familiar fluttery feeling in her stomach, she had always gotten excited whenever there was something new to be discovered.

As the door opened to reveal the sickbay, she saw the creature within a force field. Immediate distaste came to her, she did not care for an innocent sentient being being locked up without doing anything wrong. But then again, she knew the reason why. Life could be hard for all parties, it seemed.

"Hello there," she greeted Balkazar, who she had heard had struck up a friendship with the little creature. This was most interesting, she thought, why the alien would associate with him more than any other random member of the crew. Most interesting indeed. She turned to the alien, wondering what she would do, now that she was locked up. "Hello?" She didn't think that the creature could speak English, but she could communicate, it seemed.

OOC: I hope it's okay to post in sickbay here, since I'm new, I wasn't sure. ^_^

OFF: If you look at your left, you can see the navigation bar. Click on the Starphoenix/Marines bar and you will be brought to that board. First you need to register at that board, so please click on the link "register" at the top of page (left side). Then follow all instructions and create your character again, as you did here at Avalon.
When you have made your character, then click on the "Stations OPS & Communications" forum. There you will find our other crewmembers posting .

*Rasmain entered the transporterroom and nodded to the ensign behind the console. Rasmain then made a last check at his gear, as he had to wait for the other officers to arrive*

I will be at the transporter room momentarily im going to take the creature to the security station while I get geared up.........Ill be there soon......

*with that said Balkazar gets up and dusts himself off and straightens his uniform and offers AK his hand*

Cmon AK I need to go to another part of this ship to get my gear for the trip to dantor

*then he motions around the holodeck indicating Dantor and we are here in hopes AK understands*

*with that AK and Balkazar heads to the nearest security station and gets heavily outfitted and explaining to AK that this gear is for my protection and hers...........*

*grabs a back pack and puts a few xtra phasers in along with the basic landing party gear and then Balkazar puts on the back pack after putting on his security armor gear and takes AK bye the hand and goes to the transporter room.........Grabs his helmet on the way out*

*A few minutes later Balkazar..........AK.........Comm one.....Waits for the new science officer*

*puts AK on the transporter pad and motions her to stay there for a minute but stays near bye in hopes shell remain calm when the science officer gets here*

*kneels down to AK*

We are waiting for another to come with us........from what I hear this science officer will most likely run up to ya But dont worry I wont let that happen......

*continues to keep AK calm*

Report to transporter room 1 ASAP........We will be leaving shortly so collect what you can and report here immediatly

OFF: is the captain still around? He hasn't posted for about 10 days now, without notice that I have seen.

"The holodeck is indeed acceptable. Certainly, with the available information on the planet Dantor, in the computer database, setting up a holodeck program should not be difficult. However, Mr. Balkazar, as it appears that the creature apparently sees you as her... protector, it may be wise in the name of science to spend as much time as possible, in order to find out more about her species. Meanwhile, the ship should head for Starphoenix Base as soon as possible."

Captain We found an underground lab and we were attacked on several occasions bye Metalic spiders........I need to know EVERYTHING! about this planet and concerning these spiders that is in the data base........Also it seems that there was a marine Detachment under the command of a Nathan Keller down here too........Ill be heading to his base momentarily.............Balkazar out*

*moves to block the doctors path to the doors*

*Balkazar then motions for one of his men to step forward baring the door*

*then nods to his Major*

Prep the best officers we have.......Tell them to prep for almost any possible occurance and tell them we will be having our counselor with us......and tell them to watch her back at all times!.....Go.....*then he watches his major carry out the orders*

I wish to have atleast one team on stand bye........Just for safeties sake Captain.......Thats all I ask.......is one team on stand bye........?.........We should only need roughly 2 medical personel.....with all there gizmo's captain......and they should be preped as well........Commander come with me......Ill see what the armory holds for you........Wouldnt want to be caught off guard again like last time....

*Kelly returned to the bridge and took her station, she felt that her objection to the situation had been respectivly noted.*

OFF: Is it ok if we continue our "away mission" storyline on the Starphoenix Division board? Since it's on the planet we're continuing, it would make more sense. But some of you may have to register your username there first then. And of course, the ones that remain on the ship, should be posting here still (unless there is a commlink between someone of the ship and someone of the away mission or someone else on the planet).

Lurado stands.
"I feel the time is gone for me to remain here and get recaps of my crew in a fight down there...please join me Counselor, we are going for a ride".
He stepped in the turbolift.
"Shuttle Bay 1".

*Comm One sits down behind the conn panel, and taps some buttons.*
"Engaging at warp 6, sir."
*The ship jumps into warp.*

*Meanwhile in the ready room, Rasmain had finished reading the transmission from Admiral Montrell. He took a deep breath and leaned back. Many thoughts were crossing his mind and most of them involved Captain Skon's health.*

"All right, I need to prepare the arrival of our new Captain. Admiral Montrell is right, I can see him when we return to Station Avalon. We need to deal with this mission first!"

*Rasmain closes the desktop viewer and walks out of the room. He immediately enters the bridge and walks to the command chair. He sits down and took a look at the large viewscreen*

*He then turns to the OPS Station and adresses the ensign behind the console*

"Ensign, put me on the ship's intercom"

Ensign: "You are on Sir"

"All right. This is a message that concerns all crewmembers of the USS Skytoucher so please listen carefully. You are all aware of the condition of Captain Skon. Unfortunately, doctors have come to the conclusion that he will not come out of his coma on a short notice. That's why Admiral Montrell has assigned a new Commanding Officer to this ship. I will resume my tasks as First Officer so there will not be a huge change in command. Our new Captain will arrive during our mission at Dantor and you will be notified when he's aboard. Thank you for your attention, Commander Rasmain out"

*Rasmain nods to the ensign who ends the transmission*

*Stands down but waits* [peacefully]

Lurado exited the turbolift as it halted at the bridge. At his first sight of the bridge, he took notice of every detail. He then went to the First Officer. "Commander, good to meet you finally. I know only so much about the ships current situation. Perhaps it would be best that I be briefed, short if time is short, but briefed nonetheless".

OOC: Again, I thank you for the advice. I am sure I can handle it from there. Roleplay isn't a new thing for me, trust me

The shuttle was now very near the ship
"Shuttlepod 5, requesting permission to dock in the Skytoucher's shuttlebay" The pilot came onto the Comm. Then the captain spoke after. "I look forward to meeting everyone, I will make for the bridge when we dock".

OFF: I am here. I have clearly not been able to get here, had I been able to leave notice I would have. There is no need to kick me out of the postion.

Lurado stood. "Admiral? If your need is urgent I can speak with you here, now. I do not see what could need a private channel. However if you insist I can talk with you in my ready room"

**The Doctor and I make our way to the Turbo Lift and we get it.

"Transport room 3"

**The turbolift takes us to the  deck and we get off.   The Doctor and I approach Transporter room 3 and we walk in prepared for the away mission.

*Rasmain sits down behind the desk in the ready room and turns on the desktop viewer. The Starfleet insignia could be seen and underneath it, it said to await an incoming link from Station Avalon. Suddenly the screen changes and Fleet Admiral Montrell was to be seen*

Doniger stands from the command chair.

"Everything is in shape in Engineering i'll remain on the bridge Captain."

"Well, it's a little bit too late now for that, we are both already on board. From our investigations of the creature, I can already tell you that it appears to act on instincts, and does not have a language we can yet understand. The creature does seem to speak a primitive language, but the universal translator has not yet been able to decipher it. As you can see, the creature is humanoid in form, but appears to often move in various ways, crawling on hands and feet, jumping, and so on. I assure you that if you do not threathen the creature, it will not harm you. And as it is, I am acting on orders of the admiralty of Avalon Station."

*Kelly stood watching the situation on the bridge develop.*

captain your call.......*as balkazar was waiting for a response from the captain he has a brief conversation with one of the guards.........."go and prep about 3 other security teams..........10 in each team.....with full battle gear and heavily armed....Go..."...........Then the Guard carries out the order to prepare a couple more teams to head for the transporter rooms.......*

Captain with your permission.......and from our last experience on the planet.....I suggest that we have atleast a field doctor or 2 with each security team that will be accompanying us down there ?........

*Kelly tried to stop herself vut couldnt.*

"Admiral I understand your wanting to study this creature but It is my duty to point out that you are in direct violation of starfleet "alien" human rights laws against using living animals for study. We no longer inslave animals for food and study is no different. I find this course of action savage and barbaric and tipical of 21st century human behaviour, I thought your species had movied past that, It appears I was incorrect, however you are Human, your free to choose."

*Rasmain stands up from his chair and walks to the helm console where Comm One was sitting*

"Comm One, what will be our ETA at Dantor?"

OFF: Due to total inactivity of Starphoenix divsion - of which the base's construction this topic is supposed to be about - the storyline may have to be altered a bit. If Starphoenix Division has not picked up reasonable activity by May 10, it will be closed down permanently, and we will conclude the reconstruction mission with the spider attack story, where the spiders render the planet uninhabitable, and Starfleet is forced to abandon Dantor permanently. I suggest beaming over to the planet again (and thus posting in the topic on Starphoenix Division that's alraedy there for it) to continue the mission of the spiders now. Thank you.

OOC**Fred I wasnt Accusing you of not being a captain.......Since I never saw your name before on any of the Expansionfleet ships before I just assumed you were new to the role thats all I Was implying

"Commander, so good of you to gather everyone here.  One question though: are there two teams?  If so, I suggest I split off from Russo so we may each have a medico available in case of emergencies.  Oh, and I don't need a phaser- you know I detest weapons.  I'd probably just lose it anyway."

Exiting the shuttle with the captain Paul listened to him as he keep talking.  Once he was finished Paul nodded, " I believe I will joing you on the bridge sir.  This will be my first assignment on a starship, but I am glad to be assigned here."

Walking down the corridors they both look around taking in the new sites.  Looking down a corridor Paul points to a door at the end, " I believe that is a turbolift there sir."

Niamh Where did you put AK ?..........Dont tell me shes loose?.........

Lurado exited the turbolift and went to the nearest shuttle.
"We are going to Dantor"
From another lift came several well equiped security officers.
"These are the officers left behind in case things became hazy..." He shouted at the men who were distant. "Load into the shuttles! I want no more than 4 to go to the planet".
They entered the shuttles, ready. Lurado and the Counselor entered one, with 4 of the officers.
"Lets open these doors, and get down there!"

*Munro had heard Balkazars request over the comm and had moved to the science station to get the files he needed when she heard the phaser fire. Rachel looked up in a panic and watched the Captain.*

"Somethings happened to them!!"

"Nothing for a counselor at the moment, but perhaps you can assist more on the bridge. I am trying to discover what the status of the away team is, but thier location is blocking communications directly. You can run scans for lifeforms that are above ground, and in communication range"

OFF: Is anyone still alive here? We need more people on our away team on the surface of the planet Dantor, to get the story and mission going. "Commander, well this kind of telepathic link isn't healthy nor safe for the Doctor.  If it happens again and lasts for long periods of time, it could kill him."

**I proceed to do a neurological scan for any permanent damage.

"Sir, I have conducted a thorough examination and the scans indicate that there hasn't been any neurological damage. It appears the Doctor is now in a deep sleep.  I would recommend that the creature be removed from sickbay and taken to a safe location.  My only concern is if the two are still telepathically linked.   Have we had any other communication with his alien life form?  Or any way to tell the creature that he's injuring the Doctor by telepathically linking with him??

** I attempt to scan the alien life form to see if I can pick up any unusual brain waves.  Unforunately I attempt to cross reference them with the ships computer and find that this life form isn't anywhere to be found.

"Sir, at the moment I am unable to reference the alien in the ships computer to see what the normaly brain wave patterns are.  I am curious to see if this alien as you so theorized may be causing the difficulties with the Doctor."

** Looking frustrated I continue my search through the ships computer comparing my tricorder readouts.

*Rasmain looks seriously at the lieutenant and then at the monitor. He had the lowest grades in the medical courses at the academy, so looking at the monitor wouldn't exactly make a difference. Rasmain then nods to the Lieutenant as he agrees to the procedure. Rasmain then walks away from the biobed and touches his combadge*

*Akasayuniashirakomas looks at Balkazar, trying to understand what he's asking. Then she suddenly starts looking around nervously, feeling that the ship is dropping out of warp.*

Captain, the situation is currently under control. There appears to be a large number of spiders native to this planet, that appear to be poisonous. However, we have been succesful in discovering a poison to fight them back with. We have currently withdrawn to the part of Starphoenix Base that is already rebuilt, and have our scientists and medics look into it, in order to reproduce the poison and diminish the number of these spiders, in order to secure the planet and make it inhabitable again.

**I set the Hypospray down and begin taking tricorder readings to see if there is any permanent damage.**

"Can anyone tell me what the Doctor was doing in here and how long that creature behind the forcefield has been here?"

"If it help, I have been in telepathic contact with the creature."

*Rasmain was still checking his equipment while standing and waiting for the final members of the away-team to arrive. He then notices that Balkazar is standing besides him*

"Is security ready Commander Balkazar? I see that you have taken the best of your team. " *Rasmain said while looking around the transporterroom*

A distress call comes onto the speaker.

"This is Admiral Karelia of the Federation outpost Deep Space Twelve. There is a Borg cube a mere 17 hours from our position. We require the assistance of any starships in range. I repeat, this is Deep Space Twelve, requesting immediate assistance from all nearby starships."

*Akasayuniashirakomas shakes her head in disagreement, as she had learned it from the other humans how they seemed to shake their head to say yes or no. She shakes her head horizontally.*

*Then she points at the drawing of the human, and thereafter puts her hand on her front. Then with her other hand, she makes a figure of a spider, and puts it on her face aggressively, trying to explain something.*

*Akasayuniashirakomas materializes on the transporter platform. Scared for a moment about the sudden change in surroundings, but yet also curious, the creature looks around in all different directions, but remaining on the platform.*

*turns to Comm one and this THING!*

Lurado smiled at the new arrival.
"Wonderful to have you on board counselor, Its about time we had somebody to control the insanity". He gave a short laugh and showed the counselor to a seat.

Lurado tapped the shipwide comm control at the command chair.
"All science officers report to sickbay". He then exits the bridge, heading for Sickbay to see the creature himself.

Lurado looked to the chief. "That is one obstacle we should get around...set up a forcefeild in one of the science labs, transport it into the secure area. If the science officers and medical officers cannot safely come into physical contact with it at least they can observe it. It seems to important to continue to keep it away from examination because of its possible dangers".

"I aggree, we must learn more than simply observing. If needed have your Science or Medical personel sedate the being."

Captain.......I wouldnt suggest anyone besides myself to go near AK........She is a lil jittery and distrusts anyone she doesnt like.......pretty much thats everyone......myself excluded........I posted security near holodeck 1 to insure no one enters aside from myself......Ak.....is a lil skittish and may harm someone without her knowledge........So I wouldnt suggest the science officer or the doctor to go near her........hence for the security and safety of us all.............

*picks up a pad that he was working on for his report and finalizes it then hands it to Capt. Lurado*

Thats everything I have learned about AK and her reactions towards me and the others in the away team........She seemed skittish but wasnt going to harm herself....I made sure of it.....I made sure she was with me at all times.....

I have been away for the past week with no computer access, before it I was home only 2 days in between because of very important things happening to members of my family, This mission has gone one with little to none for me to do anyway, I had hoped it would move along and I would be able to start fresh and command a mission from its start. I should be back for a long enough while now, so if I am to be replaced and there is the ability to appeal that, I would choose to. I am sorry there have been blanks in my activity before I wasn't able to check things and post, but like I said, the mission has not given me much to do, its all on the planet, and I am not so sure what is wanted to happen there either. "I have not heard from Commander Rasmain who is commanding the operations on Dantor, so I will have to return a report to you on that situation. As for the Alien Creature, Lt. Balkazar will rarely allow it out of his sight, I found resistance when I wanted it checked by the science officers. I think there is more to it than is being told, but I will dissect the situation and figure it out".

**I take the hand phaser from the Commander
"Yes sir, I am an exceptional shot with a hand phaser. I believe I am ready to go"
** I add the phaser to the rest of the items I am carrying, ie hyposprays, tricorders

*As Balkazar talks about his recent encounter with the Loxians he uses hand movements and draws pictures on the ground to represent what happened...........then he grabs his leg and squints in pain and uses his facial features to represent the agony of the loxian threat who had bestowed this upon starfleet in hopes she understands*

*balkazar then gets an idea and starts to draw in the sand in hopes she understands pictographs*

OFF: I'm referring to the mission where the Na'jigat destroyed Starphoenix Base on Dantor, and the base had to be evacuated entirely, but in the meantime they picked up an unknown alien creature (Akasayuniashirakomas) who seems to be linked to the planet's history. Basically, now the base is about to be rebuilt together with some other ships present at the site, and some more history of the planet's past may be uncovered I strongly recommend to go to the "Online Databases" area of the website, and somewhere in there, you'll find an article about the alien "Na'jigat" species, that will clarify some things... although in the storyline, not all that information is discovered yet, of course.

"Um, Sirs, I am not sure what will happen if we seperate the Doctor and the Alien.  I think it would be a good idea to either bring then together or try to wake up the Doctor first before we go to the planet."

OFF: I think the investigation of the creature story goes an interesting way. But I just want to point out that the intention of the mission, in the end, is that the answers of the creature's past and history, will be found on Dantor. When Starphoenix Base is rebuilt, we will finish the spider plague storyline we had started, where all will be reveiled. That is why it is so important that the Skytoucher is in orbit around Dantor, and should remain there. I don't see any activity on the planetary base forums though, so may I assume that the construction is finished and an away team can beam down again?

"From the reports I have read before, the alien crashlanded with a one-man shuttle on the planet, during the siege of the energy species. When Starfleet evacuated the base, they took the alien along, but had been unable to guess her purpose there."
*Then he staps on the transporter's platform along with the others.*
"Energize."

"As you can read in the mission statement on the padd, Mr. Balkazar, the ship's mission is to go to the planet Dantor, where currently Starphoenix Base is being reconstructed after the attack of the energy being some time ago. According to the available information, this creature appeared to have crashlanded a spacecraft on the planet, shortly before the attack began. Admiral Parker then ordered the creature to be rescued from the debris, and taken with them into safety, when the evacuation of the planet began. Upon arrival at Avalon station, the station's scientists have attempted to conduct a study of the creature, as well as many attempts to establish communication, but thus far little is known, aside from the fact that it is established to be clearly female, with sufficient intelligence to pilot a small spacecraft - although that does not mean the creature will be able to understand our controls - and otherwise acts mainly upon instincts. We have found no other way to communicate as of yet, aside from the way one would communicate with an animal. There may be telepathy, but we have not yet discovered any indication of such. The scientists have established, however, that this life form most likely originated from the planet Dantor itself, although Dantor was firmly investigated to make sure no humanoid life form resided on the planet, before the construction of Starphoenix Base first started a few years ago. "However, the creature has not displayed anything like this before. So far, it has responded with fear and distance, and has not attempted to come closer to any of us as of yet. Maybe the creature seems some kind of father figure in you, and it would be in the best interests of scientific research not to break off this situation now. I hope you are willing to assist us, and spend some peaceful time with the creature."
*Then Comm One turns to the creature.*
"His name is Balkazar. He will look after you now. Bal-ka-zar. Try to say his name."
*Comm One points at Balkazar, to make clear to the creature what he's trying to explain.*

**I monitor the brain waves  of the Doctor and anxiously give the Captain my report.

"Captain, this isn't looking good for the Doctor's brain, he can't handle this much longer.  I am going to have to give him a hypospray again to stop the spike in his brain patterns."

**I begin prepping another hypospray, when I glance at the aliens brain patterns that I have been monitoring and they appear to be matching what the Doctors brain patterns have been.    I take a look at the alien and realize that it's trying to communicate with us.  

"Commander, the alien is trying to communicate to you.  Do you think it's safe to lower the forcefield?"

"Captain, this aliens brain wave patterns are equivilent to what the Dr's are.  As we surmised earlier, the alien must be affecting the Doctor somehow.  I would have to think they were telepathically linked.  But we have to convince this alien to break the link and let the Doctor go."

*smiles at Ak..........* I think I will call her Ak........For short...........Baigasa is close enough..........*then Balkazar rubs his head a lil more and turns back to Ak*

Well Comm one I cant exactly make a cargo into its home but I can atleast use a holodeck and seal it off to all comers except a very few..........I hope thats acceptable...........

*Balkaza and the party reaches the holodeck and Balkazar enters a few things and about 5 minutes later they enter the Holodeck and it looks like the Planet Dantor*

*Rasmain then takes his hand and feels his neck. He's still feeling that old injury and would do anything for a doctor's treatment. He steps into a turbolift and orders it to sickbay. It almost immediately stops and Rasmain steps out, he turns right, walks throught several corridors and arrives at sickbay. He enters and tries to find the doctor*

"Hello! Anyone around?...."

*Rasmain walks past several biobeds as he is suddenly surprised by the alien behind a forcefield. He heads towards it, but the alien seemed to be afraid and went to the other side , away from the forcefield. Rasmain didn't see the doctor on the floor, and he falls right on top of him. Rasmain quickly turned and got up on his knees.*

"Doctor!" *while moving the man's head*

"Doctor! Wake up!....."

"Is there any assistance?"

*Comm One materializes on the transporter room of the Skytoucher, and steps toward the officer standing behind the panel.*
"Greetings, ensign. Please stand by, as a creature of unknown species will materialize within 60 seconds. However, there is no cause for worry, the creature will not be harmful if treated carefully. Please contact your superior officers, and request a cargo bay to be formed into a location where this creature can reside for the moment, accomodated with the necessary natural environment similar to the nature found on Dantor."
*Then Comm One turns around to look at the transporter.*

Lurado enters the forcefield as it dropped and reappeared.
"..You should have said that some time ago, because as nobody seems to understand, I did not give orders for it to be harmed".

He stood near the forcefield wall with the chief and Counsellor(?).

"Have any means of communications been found? That will be where Lt. Kelly and other officers will come in. If you have not been able to discover further with AK, Mr. Balkazar, you will be needed on the bridge. Before you say it is important for you to stay here and oversee this, the bridge is where you are needed first and foremost".

OFF: Please! Before we continue, I want to welcome Captain Lurado to the Skytoucher but! It's just not possible to have you come onboard and sit in the "big" chair without having an introduction. This would, first of all look very stupid in the total storyline and how would you add that in the next yearbook Vorak .
I suggest that you *Captain Lurado*, join the Skytoucher at Dantor.(Arrive in a shuttle from a starbase of choice but give an intro :P) This way, I can inform Rasmain in the storyline and ofcourse we can normally introduce Captain Lurado to the Skytoucher.

*When Lucas Bailey storms in and aims something at her, that seems familiar to her, she jumps back in fear, and hides behind Balkazar's legs. She is trembling.*

*She looks up at Balkazar with sad eyes, as if pleading him to protect her from the other person that just came in.*

*He docks the fighter in the Shuttlebay and checks to make sure everything is in place before heading for the bridge. A few moments later he steps onto the Bridge.*

Owens walked onto the bridge.

"As i still have no place to go. Captain. I might suggest a senior staff meeting. We will build a defense barrior to relieve us of worry of the spider like beings. I will inform Starfleet Command and have a Marine Team come in. We may need to relocate them or at worse exterminate."

OFF: Balkazar, is it just me or are there only three people left of our crew?

*Commander Rasmain was sitting in his chair and watching the viewscreen. He could see the interior of Station Avalon but in several minutes it would be space again. At that moment he stood up*

"All departments! Status Report"

*Meanwhile on the bridge, the message of Balkazar to Mr Bryant could be heared.*

"Well Lieutenant, it seems that our introduction will have to wait. You are now to report to the transporterroom and prepare yourself to join the away-team. Commander Balkazar will brief you on their mission. I believe your expertise is required"

*Rasmain nods to the Lieutenant and Lieutenant Bryant heads for the turbolift*

"Welcome Lieutenant. I will be transporting again to Starphoenixes facilitys to speak with Admiral Owens. You have command untill I return"

Black exits the turbolift.

"Aye sir, i'll take the Engineering station. I don't doubt we'll have problems."

*On the bridge.*
"Sir, I believe we should proceed to the planet's surface with the listed equipment and spare parts, in order to commence assisting the other engineering teams with the reconstruction of the station. I would like to volunteer to be part of the away team, sir."
*Comm One pauses for a moment, then continues.*
"I also wish to suggest that the humanoid alien creature that I brought aboard, comes along to the planet as well, under surveillance of me and Mr. Balkazar, of course, as she appears to have some link with the planet's past, which may prove useful."

OFF: The problem is that the Skytoucher is in fact Expansion Fleet's flagship, and I'd really like an active captain on it. One can always say that there's nothing to do, but the task of the captain is finding ways to do, and get things more active when they aren't. So that's why we were looking to promote Vurak Spock to the CO of the Skytoucher, seeing that it seems you are absent on a too regular basis, even before already in Shadowfleet so has been reported to me before.

Correction Captain........It wont attack me and the droid known as Comm one from the Delta alliance.......

It shouldnt be any trouble for one person at a time to come in here as long as you dont mind me being between the 2 of you

*Balkazar then takes a knee and watches Ak move around the room*

           

"She is a being that has an important tie to this planet, clear enough, which was not clear enough during any tests at the station. *The creature slowly crawls toward Balkazar, and looks at him up and down. She carefully comes closer, sniffing, but the smell does not seem familiar so she takes a few steps back, looking him in the face.*

*then the team gets on the transporter pad along with Balkazar, AK...as well as the guards who were accompany the security team, and rasmain*

Now I guess we wait for the Doctor and Russo.......and yes I think they do have a connection...AK and the doctor.......Altho I think I may have figured out some of the words that AK was trying to communicate with us........

"Mr. Balkazar, it appears that the creature has taken a liking to you, which is a remarkable process in our study of the life form. However, here are the instructions from admiral Vorak, if you wish to read them yourself."
*Comm One hands over a padd to Balkazar.*

Lurado shook his head. "I need you on the bridge for now chief, if Owens doesn't give any further orders then you can return."

** I assist the commander in putting the Doctor on the Bio Bed***

"Aye, Aye, Sir  I will see what I can do.""

**I begin doing a full exam with a tricorder with assistance to the bio bed.  

"Holy crap"

"Sir, I am cross referencing the Doctor's normal brain wave patterns, and his are off the charts.  He's going to go into Neurological Shock if I don't get them down."

**I begin cross referencing with the tricorder for a hypospray that will counter act the brain wave length spike.    As I am doing this my eye catches glimpse of the creature in the forcefield.  

"What is that doing in here???"

*** I point my finger in the direction of the forcefield and the blue creature.

** My tricorder begins to give me a readout**
"Okay, sir, it looks like the neurological shock has caused the Doctor to go into a coma.  His vital signs have stabilized but I am worried about the brain wave spike. "

** I grab a hypospray and inject the Doctor.  I watch anxiously at the tricorder and bio bed for stabilization in the brain patterns of the Doctor.

**I say to myself as I am watching the brain activity.

"Just think the doctor had me shave his cat."

"Sir, we will have to give that hypospray about 30 minutes to take effect"

**A few minutes later**

"Sir, his brain patterns have gone down, but they haven't gone down enough, I need your permission to administer another dose of that hypospray.  A second dose may stabilize the Doctor or it could kill him."

However, the language of this alien appears so complex that the universal translater does not seem to be able to decipher it, and if so, it is a very slow process. However, the more you get the creature to talk, the more chance there is that the universal translator will manage to understand the language. Now if you will excuse me, I intend to head to the bridge and offer Mr. Rasmain my services there, for the duration of this mission."

"I am against going against the creatures rights and forcing it into a forcefield, tell me Captain would you not feel in some hurt if your free will was taken from you, if for example Romulans forced you in between forcefields while they "examined" you, And let me put it to you sir....have you asked this creature what it wants? or how it feels? I sense only fear from this lifeform, fear of us. And I must point out sir that you can justify examining a creature against its well because it is as you say angry."

"One team, to move in stealth if the need arises. Commander Rasmain can lead the team. Take as many medical officers as you see fit to take Chief, but I want to know what is going on from the planet as it happens, keep in constant contact with the Skytoucher in orbit".

The Doctor enters and sees the creature enveloped by the forcefield.  His gait slows and he sinks to his knees as eye contact is made.  A low word sighs from his lips as he loses consciousness: "Sanctuary."

*Akasayuniashirakomas draws several humanoids, then draws a cross over them. The last one, she does not draw a cross over, but instead draws a line from it up into the sky. Then she puts her arms around herself, while looking at Balkazar in wonder.*

We all believed that Captain Skon would beat this coma and would soon be ready to take the command seat on the Skytoucher. Unfortunately the doctors, at our Medical Department and back at Starfleet HQ, have come to the conclusion that Captain Skon will not revive from this coma and thus will not return to the Skytoucher.
This is ofcourse terrible news, but we have to focus ourselves on the mission. Therefor the high-command has decided to sent a replacement for Captain Skon. He will take over your current tasks, so you can step down and take responsibilties as XO again. Don't worry, your time will come *smiles*. I do say this, that when you return you will be able to greet Captain Skon one last time before he returns to Vulcan."

"Doctor if you could come lay back down on the bed so I can finish my examination and give you the okay for the away team."

"Captain, I'll will give you a status report once I complete my examination.  Commander Balkazar, let me finish this examination and I'll be alble to let you know if the Doctor is fit for the away mission.

** I point to the Biobed as I am giving the instructions to the Doctor to lay down.

*Rasmain lifts the doctor and gets him onto the biobed. He then looks at the lieutenant*
"I have no idea, I was looking for the doctor and found him unconcious. He was laying in front of the forcefield, I don't hope that the being has something to do with it."
*Hedford stops for a moment and tries to breath normal again*

"But please, perform scans and try to find out what happend!"

He stood and walked to the turbolift, talking quickly as he went.
"Put the ship on red alert if it is not already on that status. Keep a watch, if a Romulan ship comes anywhere near us contact me on the Lothlorien, the highest ranking bridge officer has command, I noticed the commander left and I am not aqainted with who is who".  

OFF: Captain Fred Lurado has not posted since about two weeks ago, without leaving any notice for as far as I know, despite my earlier post regarding that matter. If he has not posted by april, we'll be forced to place another captain on the Skytoucher instead.

OFF: It appears that the captain of the Skytoucher has disappeared again, and a ship like the Skytoucher really does need an active captain. Therefore, we are planning to promote Vurak Spock from the Evolution to become captain of the Skytoucher. Any objections should be posted in reply to this topic within 48 hours after this post.

*Balkazar does his rounds of the ship and heads for the bridge.......

*Balkazar off the turbolift.....and heads for tactical making continous scans of the area and of the space around Dantor*

*he nods to both of the Lt.'s that were on duty*

*Rasmain was still standing in front of the alien and looked into it's eyes. He had listened to the Lieutenant about the possible link between the doctor and the creature but he couldn't really understand what the creature could be saying. It was making sounds and gestures but Rasmain couldn't make head or tail of it. Rasmain was hoping that the creature or doctor could at least hear him so that some form of communication would be possible. Besides, the creature wouldn't have to really speak, it would always be possible to communicate through signing with hands or head.*

"Lieutenant, would it be dangerous to take the creature back to the planet? And then I mean dangerous for the doctor? I have reasons to believe that the creature wants to show us something down on the planet and needs the doctor to help him or her to communicate."

If the creature is to be returned I would like permission to join the team sir.

Sulking at being ignored, the Doctor/alien sits on the biobed and folds its arms in an almost human gesture of disgust.  'All they do is talk like its a committee meeting,' the Doctor muses.  He gets up again, but the room begins to spin and fog over.  'Oh no, not again,' he thinks as he faints dead away.
"Wha... Ooh... my head.  Why does my tongue taste like raspberries?"  The Doctor sits up on the bed, in his own body, and runs his fingers through his wavy hair.  "Hey!  I'm me again!  Was I dreaming?  What's everyone standing around for- let's go to the planet!"  So saying, he jumps off the bed and heads for the doors.

Thanks for the advice, I've been commanding for over a year now so I'm sure I should be fine.

"I'm hoping that the doctor will be the key to communicate with this creature. I still feel that "it" wants to tell us something."

"You have Lieutenant?" *While looking at Lieutenant Kelly*

"I know as much about this creature as you do Lieutenant Russo, but maybe Lieutenant Kelly knows more. Did you see this creature before you joined our crew?"

*Suddenly Rasmain remembers that it was Comm One, the Delta Alliance officer, who had brought the creature aboard*

"Well I think that Commander Balkazar is ready" *Rasmain then notices a Lieutenant walking just behind Captain Lurado*

"And you must be Lieutenant Paul Bryant, am I correct?"

Just as the second hypospray is about to be administered, the Doctor sits bolt upright in bed and lets out an enormous screaming, "Nooooooo!!"  His head hits the pillow again as the readings of the biobed begin to level out.

*Turns to Lucas*

Lucas head to the bridge and prepare the ship for launch........Make sure we are fully loaded in teh armory and make sure all supplies are aboard...........

*lucas then leaves to do Balkazars Bidding*

*kneels down and sits next to Akasayun for awhile and begins a lively chat even tho she cant understand what im saying*

To Rasmain*

Commander we are set to go...........I think I should stay here with the alien life form known as Akayasun for awhile longer.........it seems shes attached to me and according to Comm one.........Akayasun has deemed me as her protector for some strange reason and Comm One thinks it may be a good idea if I spend as much time with her as possible.........I sent Luke up to the bridge to tactical and make sure we are fully loaded and supplied.........

If its alright with you I think I should stay here with Comm one and the alien for awhile.......Balkazar out*

"Captain, we're being hailed by Admiral Owens," Matt said.

"Ensign, I didn't know you were assigned to the bridge," Lurado.

"I assigned him there for now," Doniger said.

"Okay," replied Lurado,"that good. If you do a good job I'll make you ass.cheif of operations."

"Sir the Admiral," said Matt.

"Oh yeah, I answer in my ready room. Balkazar you're in charge," said Lurado as he was walking to his ready room.

TRANSPORTER ROOM:
*A young crewmen tapped several controls and a transport cycle begin. The form of a humaniod soon appeared and transformed into a tall brown hair women in a blue starfleet uniform. She held a standered luggage case and several padds. The woman stepped off the transporter pad and walked up to the transporter operater.*

OPERATER: Sorry that we have no one to great you miss but everyone is busy with this mission.

"Thats no problem, I should get to the bridge anyway, thanks for getting me here safely."

*The young women took off and headed for the bridge. After several minutes she arrived. The bridge was being run by several officers, each working away at different stations. The women walked up to the Captain and presented him with the padd she was carrying.*

"Rachel Munro reporting in as the new ships counsellor sir."

He turned to Balkazar. "Your not alone in belief then, Chief. But I ask you Lieutenant, what is barbaric about researching an unknown creature with ties to our current situation?...or confining a creature, that a fact that has been so overly stressed, is very dangerous, and will attack anything that makes it nervous. I am not ordering you to taunt it with phasers while dangling food from its reach".

The Doctor wakes up... but the view through his eyes is all wrong.  Everything is hazy and he is about three feet shorter than he used to be.  'Oh dear,'  he thinks, 'I've lost my legs!'  He looks down and notices blue veins, stubby toes and blond-haired feet.  'Well, those are legs, but they aren't mine.  I think.'  He tries to wiggle his toes, which respond as he watches.  'That certainly isn't right.  Hmm... Oh! I know!'  He reaches out his hand, now thin and without his characteristic clothes, and his fingers lightly brush a forcefield.  The noise makes Russo and the others turn to see what the creature is doing.  'Well,' thinks the Doctor ruefully, 'I wonder if this entity has vocal cords?  I suppose I better try...'
"Hello," he says aloud.  The voice is high pitched and warbled- maybe the foircefield?- but just recognizable.  He tries again at a lower pitch, "Can you hear me?  This is the Doctor, well part of me anyway.  Could you let down the forcefield now please?"

Captain.........the creature had enough tests done on it from avalon station.....I cant condone this course of action.......

However.......I will watch over the creature me and my security staff.......AK is attached to me and I cant let her come to harm........Im sorry.....But this is the wrong course of action........shes not a lab rat......shes a sentient being that deserved some mutual respect.........just like any life form......

Standing up Paul comes out of the rear of the shuttlepod to the front.  Looking out the window he smiles seeing the Skytoucher.

As the pilot moves around the ship allowing the ones inside to view the skytoucher in all its beauty.  As the pilot adjusted for the descent into the shuttlebay the captain notice Paul leaning over his shoulder to catch a glimse of his future home.

*Akasayuniashirakomas notices that Balkazar begins to understand her a little bit, and keeps doing effort.*
"Sp... spi... spiders... Many many! Njujuni... znep znep... killed!"

*sighs*......Alright.......But Note it in your logs I left under protest.......

*Balkazar then walks over to AK and tries to communicate that im leaving and will be back soon......Behave yourself......*

*then Balkazar smiles at AK and leaves........to head to the bridge

"Well, Currently most of the crew is on the planet, we are in orbit of Dantor, Starphoenix's home base. It was attacked by the Na'jigat, If I said it right. What it is I am not so sure of, I have not researched this creature very much, but I know it is a ships worst nightmare".

"At the request of Admiral Owens we were to beam to the ship from the planet...". He looked to the Admiral standing on the bridge. "I still have not been given word on what we need to do next..Were I sure we would no longer be needed here I would have us return to Avalon Station, since now nothing is availible for us to do".

Yes Commander............AK and I have some basic understanding of each other.......We seem to have gotten a lil communications down altho the Translater is still unable to pick up on the majority of what AK says......But I seem to pick it up in breaks......with the words she cant seem to use properly she uses her natural language.......

It seems from what I have gathered is that A spider race came to her home planet and killed off her people.......then something must have taken her away from her home.........It might have been us from the Evacution of Dantor or it might have been something else.......

She seems to have calmed herself down alot altho she still seems to be a bit gittery around other people.......Thats all I seem to have gathered but perhaps AK will reveal more of herself later on ?........Lets hope she is a lil bit more at home on the surface ?..........

*sees Lt Bryant walk in and Balkazar puts himself between AK and Bryant*

Im sorry mr bryant but I know how curious science officers can be but Stay a reasonable distance away from the alien life form we dont need her to get uneasy.........

The briefing is...........We are to take AK *points to the alien* down to the planet surface........Im not too clear about it either but the life form here seems to trust me alot more then other people........AK here also has a link with the planet surface and we need to figure it out.......so your coming with us as ordered......

Now Its my understanding that there rebuilding the base down there so theres probly going to be alot of commotion......So to help prevent AK from being unsettled with all the people AK is to stay with us at all times so she doesnt get aggited since we dont know alot about her...........A temporary landing zone has been set up......and the shields are preventing the water from coming in and washing the base out along with everyone else.........So lets try and help out where we can down there but also keep in mind we need to watch out for AK.......Understood ?

OCC: Okay, sorry that I haven't posted in what its like a month a half or more, but I have been in the hospital, and extremely busy catching up on all my school work. Now that I have finished with all my school work, I can finally start to post again, sorry that I haven't been around.

On: Matt was on when Captain Lurado got into the turbolift. Matt acknoledged his superior officer and decided to stand quiet.

"Ensign, Parayagua you will accompany me to the surface of the planet," the Captain said.

"Yes, sir," Matt said, now with a sick feeling in his stomach.

Lurado still stood at the bridge. "What is the current status of  Dantor? Are Starphoenix's crew able to inhabit the base, or are they all on thier ships?".

OFF: I was supposed to give him a briefing but he hasn't responded. But we will beam down, as there is nothing to do on the Skytoucher. Niamh Kelly, Dean Rogers, report to the transporterroom .

"Mr Rogers and Niamh Kelly, please join me in transporterroom 1 in half an hour. We will be transporting down to the planet."

*Rasmain then enters the lift and the doors close*

Doniger entered the bridge

"Lieutenant Doniger reporting for duty Captain"

*Balkazar and a group of heavily armed security guards with full battle gear comes walking into sickbay........*

Lurado walked to the bridge. "Thank you Mr. Doniger. You may return to engineering, I want reports from every station. Right now we're sitting silent, the Admiral may contact and let us know what is to be done, but of Dantor I think we are all now curious"

Commander..........It seems that the universal Translater is picking up on The aliens language........Im not ENTIRELY sure but I think shes trying to tell us what her race is........or what almost annhilated her race.........

Shes saying

"Najana Njew! Najana Njew! Naja... pider... Nj... ttack...!"

Over and over again.........I think Najana means "Spicers" and Njew means "attack"......so whatever happened to her........it would seem a Huge spider or a spider army annhilated her people.......But im not entirely sure just yet............We are still working on clearification..........Seeing as how I am starting to understand her......

So Spiders attacked you then ?........

Parayagua enters the bridge. He had just met the Captain on the turbolift. It was kind of intimidating at first, but the Captain put me at ease.

"Ensign you should go report to the bridge," commented Captain Laurdo.

"Yes, sir," responded Matt, which is what he liked to be called.  Now he was here, on the bridge of the USS Skytoucher. He walked to the Lt. and said," Reporting for duty, Lt."

"Welcome aboard, ensign," replied Lt. Doniger,"well as you see there is almost no one on board right now." It was true since Matt had arrived he had seen a few people, and saw others heading to the shuttle bay.

"I did get that impression sir," replied Matt.

"I see that you have training at Operations," remarked Doniger.

"Yes, I do," Matt said quickly.

"Well, for now take that is your station, and when the Captain returns he will put you where he wants," said Doniger. Matt couldn't believe it. He was going to work  at Operations. He was a security officer, but his dream was to become Chief Operations Officer of a ship and hopefully this was his step foward.

OFF: You may choose a station yourself, you can also come from the Alpha Quadrant and have travelled trough the Nebula. Just wait with the arrival or message, until Rasmain receives a message from SS Avalon. I will need to tell him about the former Captain and why he is being replaced .

*Rasmain then noticed a new crewmember on the bridge*

"Niamh Kelly? I was informed of your arrival. Welcome aboard !" *Rasmain extends his hand*

*After checking his gear Rasmain steps onto the transporterplatform with his team and nods to the ensign behind the console.*

"Energize"

*Munro stood side by side with her new Captain, it felt good to be going into action in such a short space of time in her new position. While the Captain listened to the comm, Munro continued to fix her Phaser to her belt, she had made sure it was on stun before she turned her attention to fixing her tricorder in place.*

*The Turbolift suddenly stopped and the doors opened leaving the officers in the shuttle bay.*

"Now what sir?"

*As Rasmain stood behind the biobed and carefully followed the situation, he heared the question of Lieutenant Russo*

"Well all I can tell you is that we brought the alien back to the ship after we were ordered too. And what could the alien have done? During the mission on the planet, she didn't seem hostile."

*Rasmain stood there for a while and suddenly he remembered missions from the past*

"Lieutenant! It may be that the doctor has been in contact with the creature!"

*Both officers looked at him as if the commander hadn't noticed that the creature was behind a forcefield.*

"Telepathically ..." *Rasmain mutters*

"On several missions, the doctor has shown that he is capable of linking his mind to other lifeforms or other lifeforms find it easy to link theirs to his. These bravepatterns may indicate that the creature found a way to communicate, not by words, but with his mind. As I said, the doctor is more sensitive to this, then other crewmembers.
So we may have to explore that possibility"

*Rasmain looks at the forcefield where the creature is standing behind. The creature seemed to have changed or adapted to the Starfleet officers in sickbay. It had been hiding in a corner for a while but now it seemed curious. Rasmain slowly moves forward, towards the forcefield and keeps his eyes on the creature.*

*Sits in the command chair*
"Where are we currently?"

*makes rounds around the armory, making sure everything is fine*

OOC**Which mission would you be reffering too Vorak ?......The One where we destroyed a fleet of 200 Loxian ships or is it the mission that wiped out the Dantor base ? LOL.......You need to clarify :P

Fred: If you need help doing commanding stuff Ask your fellow officers what they think .......And then go off that if you need help.......:).......Trust me it really helps......But I like this arrangement You can tell everyone what to do and then ill do it when you and rasmain arent here

Also before I forget........come this thursday ill be unable to post due to me going LOA for atleast a week .....to give me time to recover from the Teeth Pulling Surgery ill be doing tomorrow ............

An incoming transmission came to the Skytouchers bridge.
"USS Skytoucher, this is Captain Fred Lurado on Shuttlepod 5, I am nearing your location. Prepare for my boarding within the hour"

** I complete the neurological and physical exam**

"Commander, looking at the results of my examinations the Doctor is back to normal.  I would have to say that the Doctor maybe a cruicial key in communicating telepathically with the Alien.  When doing my examination I cross referenced some of these Brain patterns and found that they are similar to those of a Betazed when they are communicating telepathically.  So I would have to summize that the Doctor and the Alien can link telepathically  That could very well come in handy."

"Doctor, it looks like we are going to transporter 3 to head to the planet."

** I gather up a few hyposprays and a tricorder.  I hand the Doctor a Tricorder. ***

"Doctor, you may need this."

** I make my way escorting the Doctor to Transporter room 3

"We need to locate them, scan for lifeforms anywhere on the planets surface"
He then tried communications.
"Skytoucher to Away Team, respond!"
He stood and assisted on the controls, since the bridge had very few crewman on it.
"If we can lock onto the group of them we can transport them up...but if some of them are still below the surface they are stranded from communication and transport"

"incredable, she hs the ability to sense what we feel and who we are, I can sense a telephatic link with her."

*Comm One looks up at Balkazar.*
"Fascinating. It may be that she is trying to tell you her name. If that is the case, it would be the first time she pronounces her name, which is a large step forward."

*Thinks for a moment and then nods*

"Yes Comm One, you are right. The creature needs to go down to the surface but I don't want the away-team to be 2 officers and the creature. I would have taken control over the away-team mysself but I can't since the Captain has arrived and wants a briefing. But with the arrival of our captain, I have also been informed about the arrival of our new Science Officer. Please take him with you down to the planet, an officer with a scientific view can help in your research. He will arrive shortly and then you can both join Mr Balkazar, who is to lead this away-team."

OFF: As noone replied to earlier off-messages from me, I will make a post stating we left Avalon Station. I do would like to know about the staff that's present on the bridge. Is Mr Bailey, Comme One, Mr Nofftz around?

*Rasmain walks out of his readyroom and heads for the commmand chair*

"All right, all stations report ready?"

Ensign: "Yes Captain, all stations and departments are ready for departure"

"Good, contact Station Avalon and request clearance to undock."

Conn: "Request granted and Admiral Montrell wishes us a safe journey"

"Thank the Admiral, then release the docking clamps and reverse on thrusters"

*The ensign followed orders and the Skytoucher slowly moved backwards out of spacedock.*

Ensign: "We have cleared the spacedockdoors Commander"

"Understood, set a course for Dantor warp 6. Engage!"

*Kelly took the Commander's hand.*

"A pleaseure to meet you sir, I look forward to serving with you, but to be honest, all of this is a lot to take in. The Skytoucher is the dream post."

crystal clear.........But I want it noted in the logs I object to it........But if the medical staff gets hurt because my warnings were ignored its not my responsibility........

*with that Balkazar heads off the bridge hiding a sneer of distrust towards his new captain and heads off to holodeck 1........Balkazar then takes AK with a security team to the medical bay.......and guards AK so she doesnt hurt anyone.......*

*balkazar contines to watch AK hop around the room with the force fields up......Balkazar makes sure everyone stays a safe distance away*

OFF: In that case, Mr Bailey please return to the bridge and take the sec/tactical station. Mr Balkazar will deal with the creature and learn more about it. Could Comm One then take the helm? That way we would atleast have a skeleton crew to run the ship...

OFF: since the current mission has hereby ended, a new mission begins. Therefore, I'm closing this topic and opening a new one. Everyone can post there continuing from here.

*enters*

*he immedietly draws his phaser and aims it towards the creature*

" Balkazar, Didn't i tell you not to mess around with strange creatures, you can never tell how they'll react."

*points at the humanoid and then points at myself and vice versa*

*Rasmain is listening to Lt Commander Balkazar and quickly steps towards him*

"Now Commander, we don't want to invade our own base! I suggest you prepare one team with the best officers you have and meet us in transporterroom 3 within the hour."

*Rasmain then turns to Lieutenant Russo*

"Do you think that you are able to wake up the doctor? He would be an asset in this mission but only if he can walk on his own two feet!"
