Also the Skytoucher found out that there has been warptravel in this system, like High Command pointed out. We might have to consider alien contact in this sector! And ofcourse we have this M-class planet, which has to be explored.
And all stations are working on an analisis of their systems..but I haven't got all the reports yet."

Hedford looks at his crew.

There are, however, faint ion trails in local space, which would indicate that one or more ships have visited this planet within the past solar year. Counselor Stiegler has also sensed residual impressions of life, or life-like, intelligence somewhere in the planet's vicinity. Since the Federation has never explored this system, it is logical to assume that someone got here before us and found this planet interesting. She is fainting, as such an entity can faint, a lot of time before her matrix can absorb all the energy and restores the entity of Daugther 2. It's a serious fight that the Daughter of the Metatraxi is doing. Pain, suffering, distortions and quasi extinction.
But, in an ultimate efffort, Daughter 2 regain control of her matrix and, in a tiring last effort, she regains her entity.
Daughter 2 has grown of 300%. And her matrix is full of drones eggs.

Our phasers are fully operational, we have a compliment of 35 quantum torpedoes, and 40 tricobalt torpedoes. Although there is a slight variance in phaser power output. This could cause a problem if we need to fire in rapid succession. Other than that the weapons are in order.

I want continuous scans of this place.
so far from what i have put together, there have been some disruptions which have been giving our sensors strange readings. am i correct?
if the sensors in fact are only showing part of the ship then i think i know what is wrong. this very incident happend to the USS Enterprise. they ended getting stuck in some kind of space bubble. Lilque, scan for any readings that have to do with subspace!
Put the viewer on! somebody tell me if you can see any stars in the region.

Hedford finally arrives at the last escape pod. The ship was trembling. He wondered what was happening to the enemy entity. Had it withdrawn from the ship? Had it spread inside the ship? He walked into the escape pod and pushed some buttons.
Computer: Warning. 20 seconds before auto-self destruct.
The door closed and he pushed another button, that released the escape pod and thrust it away from the ship at once. Hedford heard a last announcement from the computer, and he knew it was the last one that he would ever hear from the computer of THIS ship.
Computer: Warning. 10 seconds before auto-self destruct.
The pod thrust away, and he looked through the window. He could see several escape pods everywhere, and then he looked at the ship... and he was counting down the last seconds after the last warning he had heard from the ship... 5... 4... 3... 2... 1...
And the ship exploded violently. A huge, massive and colourful explosion could be seen in space, a vast shockwave of energy spreading from the explosion... his escape pod trembled and he had to hold on to his seat firmly not to be thrown around in the little space the pod provided.
After a little while, all he could see was what remained left of the explosion: residue, pieces flying in every direction. And finally his pod comes to hang still in the air again.
He pushes a button.
"Hedford to all escape pods, is everyone all right?"

Hmm i have an idea, Tactical, set the deflector to emmit a cloaking scan, i want to know if there are ANY other ships that could be in here. Get the Skytoucher to do the same out there!

lets see how to start. basically, we have been instructed to escort the USS Skytoucher while it explores one of the solar systems that are in our uncharted territory. It's only a Nebula class ship so thats is y we have been instructed to escort them. i know it sounds like a boring mission but it has to be done. ya never know, there might be some action in it
