A large Federation starship suddenly appears next to the fleet heading to DS12, and hails all ships.

=^= USS Phoenix to Task Force Fleet =^=

This is Director Svensson. We are sent to accompany you, by direct orders of Starfleet. We are here to assist your Task Force Fleet, and to ensure that it will be brought to a good end. I am sure we will cooperate well.

*Hedford takes a deep breath and awaits the transport. His adrenaline levels are rising and he almost can't wait until the actions begins*

Gordon sits back in his chair, thinking about the battle to come.

OFF: with Karelia gone for two weeks, who is his XO to take over from him until he returns?

Bain, and Quannun both get into an escape pod

ETA approximately 8 hours to the coordinates and a couple hours to DS12.

*meanwhile, the USS Evolution has jumped to warp as well and follows the rest of the Task Force Fleet toward Deep Space 12*

OFF: The Skytoucher is too busy to take on Romulans at the momment. Loxians are more of a concern right now.

The Romulan ship returns fire, and two more Romulan warbirds come in to close in the USS Sequoia, a spectacle of phaser fire, disruptor fire and torpedo explosions begins...

=^= USS Phoenix to USS Sequoia escape pods =^=

This is Peter Svensson, commanding officer of the USS Phoenix. We are closest to your location now, and saw what happened to your ship. We are now going to attempt to transport each of you to our ship, before the Romulans can destroy your escape pods. Stand-by for immediate transport.

"Well no, no problems, and your ears are great ofcourse...but I am not fimiliar with this look. Let's hope Lilque will never see me...oh that's right, she wouldn't even recognize me"

Captain, I took the liberty of inviting the Paladin to join us.

OFF: where are we beaming over to? To which ship, or directly to the station?

OFF: which forum do we post at, after transport to the station?

=A= Coded Message to all Federation ships participating in DS12 Rescue =A=

"All hands to battlestations, the attack is now underway. Proceed as planned and take out those Romulan fighters, and help us from getting fried"

At that moment, firepower flashes from the station toward the closest Romulan ships. Clearly, the infiltration team had full control over the station's systems, including weapons. The Romulan ships guarding the station, take on heavy damage, but withdraw and come about, to open fire on their own station, even though many of their own are still aboard DS12...

*Flag Admiral Vorak enters the bridge, and remains quietly at the side, observing all activities*

"The USS Evolution has been briefed, and is ready for departure when you are."

OFF: That's the only way I've seen it.

"I will also be pleased to have my own face back again...I can't imagine that someone would fancy this Romulan look."

"Indeed."

=A= Incoming Hail to USS Sequoia =A=

Federation Starship, this is the MEV Paladin. Do you require assistance?

"I believe we are in position to halt the fleet, and have one ship cloaked near the station, and drop off me and the other officers in the infiltration team."

Vorak overlooks if everything goes well according to procedure, as the infiltration team takes place on the transporter room. When all is to his satisfaction, he takes place on the transporter room as the last one, and takes a deep breath.

"Energize."

I believe all ships are in position, so keep a look out for the Romulan Coalition's ships. We are recieving technical data from the infiltration team and it shows that we are almost ready for the ships to enter within weapons range. Although I hope  we never have to fire upon the station, I remind you that you only shoot when fired on. Good luck to us all and see you on the other side

The Sequoia shakes violently as a bulkhead falls from the ceiling, missing Freeman by inches.

"Alright, that's it..."

=/\= All hands, report to the escape pods, I repeat, all hands, report to the escape pods and abandon ship! =/\=

"That means all you too..." Freeman says to his senior officers.

As the final escape pod is launched, Gordon contemplates what he is about to do. After entering several manual and verbal commands, the Sequoia swings around to face the lead last Norexan-Class ship, the Coalition flagship. The Sabre-Class escort routes all she can muster into the impulse engines, and in a brilliant display of light, the Sequoia rams the flagship head-first, giving all it had left in a fiery death for both the Coalition ship and herself.

The Sequoia was gone.

"Welcome to the Bridge, Admiral, and thank you. Ensign, signal the fleet to depart."

uh sir, it's only been and hour since we left, I'd say about  6 maybe 7 hours till rendezvous.

OFF: did someone edit my earlier post? I swear it looks like someone did.

Will whispers back to Commander Nismos.

"No, I'm not really having any trouble with it..."

"Oh nice hint :P, sounds cool to use when...."

OFF: we really should get this mission going. The fleet is already quite long under way. Soon the USS Phoenix will join the fleet as well.

Very well, moving into position.
*The Paladin moves into formation and activates its Phase Cloak.*

Walker let a lieutenant take over tactical.

"Lets go kick some Romulan scum out of are nest."

The infiltration team headed for Transporter Room 2, taking a detour to the Armory.

As the fleet moves into the battle zone, the USS Skytoucher arms weapons and follows...

The USS Evolution opens fire on some Romulan ships, but is soon intercepted by other, decloaking Romulan vessels. They open fire, rocking the Evolution around...
Meanwhile, the USS Phoenix goes to the rescue, but is intercepted by Romulan vessels herself... There turn out to be far more Romulan ships in the vicinity than was anticipated or accounted for...

Meanwhile, two of the Romulan warbirds that were previously guarding the station, now head out for the USS Tiberon and open fire...

Also two more Romulan warbirds decloak to attack the USS New Orleans...

Meanwhile, the USS Evolution sustains serious damage and retreats, but a Romulan warbird decides to chase the ship...

The MEV Paladin is still surrounded by a formation of Romulan warbirds, and sustains heavy damage, but the USS Phoenix cannot go for aid, as two Romulan warbirds decloak right ahead of them...

Walker checks over the weapon systems. Everything was working at 100%. He was curious about this cloak they had in there posession.

Admiral Karelia enters the bridge and sees Admiral Vorak and Commodore Hedford there also.

"Ensign Quannun, how far are we from the rendezvous point?"

(OFF: Make it a while...)

*Nismos enters the bridge*
"Every thing seems to be in tip-top shape Admirel. Cpt. Freemen runs a fine ship"
*Nismos leans over and wispers to Karelia*
"Is it just me or does your face itch?"

*Kolo glares at his friend*
"Yea, and some one nedds to be there to save your butts"

'This wait is really frustrating.'

OFF: I don't know if we should wait for Admiral Karelia

ON: Deep Space 12 on long - range sensors, sir

Tyler took in a deep breath, just before dematerializing.

'I hate transporters.'

OFF1: A little Transporterphobia

OFF2: The Evolution posted a idea for getting us onto the station, before Will took absentance.

OFF: It's too late for that now

The SEV Paladin takes as last ship position in the battle formation, and heads toward the Romulan ships... Soon the Paladin opens fire, causing some considerable damage to a few Romulan ships, until one of the warbirds decides to hunt the Paladin down. Having a warbird on her tail, the Paladin sets immediate course to some other Romulan warbird formation.
This may have seemed a suicide maneuvre, but it was not so: the Romulan warbird on the Paladin's back could not open fire without risking to hit one of their own ships, and the Romulan warbird formation in front had the same problem. Besides, the Romulan formation was already occupied with the USS Evolution.
The SEV Paladin then makes  the mistake, however, to head inside the Romulan formation, as the USS Evolution just decides to head out of it, and the two ship barely miss each other... and while the USS Evolution retreats, the SEV Paladin now finds itself surrounded by four powerful Romulan warbirds...

Tyler stands near Vorak, thinking about his mission.

*Steps out of the turbolift and enters the bridge*

"Nice ship you have here Commander"

*Hedford sees Admiral Vorak*

"Ah Admiral, good to see you. How is the new face? Do you like the new looks?"

*Kolo enters the bridge and stands by his friend Nismos and wispers to him*
"Scared?"

OFF: really?? wow I didn't know lol

OFF2: I am the highest ranking crew member on board?

We are coming on 5 hours till we arrive at our designated coordinates.

OFF: Probably not, but it's Vorak's call.

All stop, signalling the fleet.

*the chief engineer of DS12 was silent during all the briefings and still now continued to be silent as he stood on the tranporter pad awaiting the mission*

Meanwhile, the USS Evolution suffers heavy damage, and when they find an opening in the Romulan ships formation, they use it to retreat for the moment...
