*Follows Montrell into his office with Captain Yates following*
"Go ahead captain. You may got first."
"I can offer you little more than what my premonitions tell you, and my suggestion to prepare the station for a battle worse than anything Starfleet history has ever seen. You'll be wishing you were fighting a fleet of Borg cubes instead. And when the time comes, this station alone can't stand a chance, you'll need every ship in the fleet that can be here, and every ally you can get. It's up to you, admiral, but I just felt it was my duty to tell you about it."
"You think the Sal'Tek is a threat Ambassador then how do you explain the attack on Dantor ?, then not even 2 weeks later the same attack force on a certian planet. Then on top of that the Federation insults Andros, bye saying that we need them. We need each other. You are only saying what you are is because you dont like there methods, I said this before at Frontier and ill say it again. These people need us as much as we need them. There methods may be crude but they are probly the most respectful and honorable race you will ever meet. They had a hard life, so of course they will think we mean them harm. If it wasnt for this Ambassador here, and enticing the admiralty at frontier into attacking Andros, Verbally we would have had a good relationship right now with Andros. But no, Your Ambassador decided to blame EVERYTHING on Andros because Andros, is different. Hes different because he doesnt share our belief's, Is this a Federation who respects other cultures, or a Tyranny Dictatorship that states that we must force another culture to abide bye our rules. Thats whats happening right now."
"I dont know about you Ambassador but Intelligence will Continue to talk to Andros and help him out. He expects nothing from us. Atleast we treat him fairly instead of sending a linch mob because hes different from us!"
OOC**Man, im RPGing Brian very Passionately about his beliefs, :P
"Yeah, I don't have a post any longer, and I really am not sure about a lot of things after seeing my station and my officers go down in flames."
"As you wish admiral Starwind."
*looks to Montrell*
"Sir, I am Fleet Captain Christopher Ytaes of the ERD. I am sure you are familliar withe the division. I am the Second in command and Temp. Executive Officer. I am also the Commanding Officer of the USS Recovery. Receantly I have lost contact with the station and my ship. I was asuming the entire division was decom and everyone was reassigned. I came to sse if it were true."
OCC: What I am saying is that the Entire Emergancy response Division board is gone and I have not heard form the CO or any of the crew aboard my ship.
*Montrell had been listening carefully to Embries, and found his story very frightening. If the Na'jigat would really launch an attack on this station there would be a little chance of surviving.*
"I've also read the reports on the Na'jigat and ofcourse the destruction of Deep Space 12 but how do we know for certain that they will attack this station again? Only premonitions aren't enough...And how would we defend ourselves, as the latest reports told us that a borg cube was destroyed in seconds....even with their technology.."
*Montrell is quiet for a while and thinks*
*Montrell had been silent for some minutes and had turned away from Will*
"What do you see if you look outside Will?"
*Montrell was pointing towards several fields of debris, where several salvaging ships were busy. Montrell then answered before Will could*
"Indeed, debris of ships and officers who gave their lives to save this station!"
*Montrell turned around and sat down again*
"How do you think I feel? I gave them their assignments. I told them to hold the Na'jigat off! So if you look at it, I was the one that sent them into their death.....
But if you ask me, do I feel guilt? NO! My thoughts are ofcourse still with them, but I don't feel guilt. They all died in the line of duty, and they were willing to!"
*Montrell looked at Will and tried to see his reaction*
"I know you feel guilt, towards all those officers. But what will you achieve by this "running away"? Starfleet will always stay a part of your life and the happenings at Deep Space 12 will also.
You are a born leader, you celebrated a lot of victories....don't throw that away for this first defeat....
"Mr. Higgins your beginning to stretch the truth. From what i witnessed be done to myself by your friends. These are not people of honor or good will. Not a people who fear being harmed. They are the aggressors. And they have committed a crime by what they have done. One i will not excuse them for. They can avoid prosecution by not returning to our space. However you Admiral are not above the decisions made here. your love for these people is only your own. You do not reflecr the decisions of anyone here. These people, and Andros, in my findings, are the reason for every mishap at Frontier. They are responsable for disrupting the Stations functions. And if they step foot in our space they are liable for their crimes. No one is immune Admiral."
*Admiral Montrell turns to Captain Sanchez*
"Ah Captain! Please sit down and let me see that report." *Montrell takes the report out of Cptn Sanchez' hand and motions him to sit down*
"Care for a drink while we evaluate your mission?"
"Admiral, captain. I apologize for my interruption again, but I would like to notify you that Mr. Varnek is ready to be transported aboard the U.S.S. Evolution."
*Montrell enters his office and sits down in his chair*
"Computer dim lights and play music file "Montrell-023""
*The computer confirmed the order by a loud beep and Montrell wanted to turn his chair to face the window. But suddenly his eye catches a padd, he took it from his desk and read it.*
"The Mission report from Captain Taurik and even a repair-list."
*Montrell touches his combadge*
=A= Admiral Montrell to Captain Taurik =A=
"I've received your report on the Rivendell. It has sustained severe damage but ofcourse our engineers will do everything to repair it. You have all means to your disposal to repair the Rivendell's third section but you may want to contact Admiral Detrell."
=A= Admiral Montrell out =A=
*Montrell turns his chair and listens to the music while reading the rest of the report.*
very well....we might as well get it over and one with.
*Embries sighs.*
"The destruction of my homeworld happened thousands of years ago... I was only a young boy then, and I remember little of it now. But I do remember that our species, the Erendir, had a strong alliance with the Gallifreyans, and we were close to winning... Not that we would have destroyed the Na'jigat, that's never possible, but we could have confined them to the galaxy core for a very long time, perhaps even forever. But somehow, we were betrayed. I remember little of how that happened, but the Na'jigat came upon our homeworld in full force, and when they were done with it, there was nothing left, and almost all our people were extinct. All I came to do here now, admiral, was warn you that the same might happen here, and maybe sooner than we all think."
*He gets up.*
"That was all I was trying to say, admiral. If you have no further questions, I would like to return to my quarters and get some rest."
A Transmission arrived from Frontier Station
To: Fleet Admiral Diego Montrell JAG Magistrate
From: Ambassador Frank Gordon Starfleet Embassy CO
The following is a report on an investigation conducted under the request of Fleet Admiral Thomas Hobson.
Upon arriving at Frontier Station I began to question the officers. I found little evidence of relavency there. I learned from records and testimony from Hobson that Fleet Admiral Richard Ransom had been in contact with a race named the Chronasians. They had been in wish to form an alliance with the Federation to my best beliefs. However evidence only shows they wished connection to Frontier itself. Trade was established without authorization of Starfleet Command or the Embassy. During the talks, an Ambassador was not present, and Admiral Ransom failed to inform anyone other than select members of his crew he was meeting to talk about alliances. I do not know if he intentionally hid this from those at SS Avalon whoms duty it is to deal with such meetings. When questioned Ransom claimed the mission was 'made by Starfleet in the First place'. But i can find no record of its approval. Nor was the Embassy informed. I also believe some officers expressed concerns. Trade was, for a short time established. Vice Admiral Vincent Garhart was exchanged to train under Andros, supposed leader of the Chronasians. In exchange a being designated Sean was given for Frontier. Again, with failure to notify anyone of this exchange. Something i frown upon, Starfleet does not, so quickly, exchange its officers. Also weapon systems, of which i was informed Frontier's officers had no control off, were traded. Also discussion of metals to trade. I did not discover if these were traded. An incident occured in which the being called 'Sean' extracted and transmitted information from the Federation Database to his home. This event was later apoligized for. But remains on my report. However excusable. Now comes to the point were the report becomed confusing, even for myself. I was taken onboard a vessel i knew nothing of. I discovered it was ran by Droids. They began to question my investigation. Believing i was investigating them. I was told, and i quote, ' if you continue with your investigation into Ransoms Loyalties Your life may be forfeited.' In Admiral Ransoms defense, i believe these people were acting on their own accord. He has, since his first actions, distrusted these beings. I was mistreated threw manners of torture, to the best i can describe it. And claimed to have been changed in the mind by a race which i am not knowledgable on. Andros was the beginning questioner. Then the droids joined. An attempt was made to erase my memory. The attempt failed however to escape, i went with them. I later discovered Fleet Admiral Thomas Hobson and Admiral James Madison were taken after I. The story we were told. Of which i can find no proof of. The Federation is at risk of an enemy which we cannot defeat. Only something involving Council and the number 3 can help us. In a nutshell. We were told that we had to form an alliance to help survive. It was the opinion of other officers that this would force us to depend on these people. The conclusion of this capturing was ended when Andros and his people 'rescued' myself and the other officers. This i cannot explain to you, because i know Andros to be behind our being on the vessel in the first place, as he questioned me. I am now on Frontier Station. Claims are made my mind has been changed. I do not understand the events in full that i have explained in my report. All information is open to debate. And it is my full request that a Hearing be called on this case. I strongly request you come to Frontier Station as soon as possible. I feel that this sector is out of balance. Their is an instability in something here. This race is treating this sector as their own to my best view. This investigation was done under the Embassy, myself chief investigator. I submit this to the JAG Department for review. This case is not a light one. Something has gone wrong here Admiral. My opinions and views were neutral coming in. All expressions were formed by the information presented.
Ambassador Frank Gordon - Starfleet Embassy
Gordon looks at Higgins with suprise.
"I wasn't aware you had a side. However your name came up in my investigation. Am i to understand you were present during a meeting on making decisions as to what to do at Frontier?"
He looks back at Montrell.
"To go into full detail again would be foolhardy as my report was a book in itself. But i will say as long as I oversee the Embassy Starfleet won't consider allieing with a race that captures 2 Admirals and myself as an Ambassador in the open. And threatens a Starfleet Outpost of destruction if certain induviduals were not present. In my small time with these beings. And from the investigation on Frontier, these people appear to lord over our heads the ability to protect. A threat of which i think they created for us, to need them. Enough trouble and dismay has been caused in the Frontier sector to require further looking into. That is my professional and personal opinion."
Shakeing his head.
"I think Higgins is too close to them. His findings will not change anything. Threats will not effect any division here. Nothing erases or excuse's the deeds of these people. I think it best to simply rid ourselves of this race from Expansion Fleet."
"But your men died for something. They saved countless others. What did my crews die for? Nothing. They all died while trapped in that station as it fell from orbit. Those that lived through the reentry died on impact. I've been to the remains, I've seen what's left. You sent your people to die for the continued survival of others, but I allowed mine to die simply because I could not save them. They died for my incompetance."
"An Irish coffee would be very welcome, admiral."
*Sanchez sits down in front of admiral Montrell's desk.*
"As you can read in my report, these Loxians have definitely left the ways of the pirate behind them. They live like civilised people aboard that station now, and if I may say so, their presence has made quite an improvement to Vontak Nor. They built their own planetarium and park, for example. In my opinion, and you know that Loxians were never high in my praise before, this treaty is succesfull."
*Sanchez gratefully drinks from his coffee.*
"Of course, admiral. As for the Loxian park, it is called Avoxia, and General Zayan has brought me there. Trees in all shades of color with a rapid rate of growth, flowering plants, and a dark blue colored grass, as well as murals made with Loxian flowers, representing twelve popular Loxian people. It is certainly worth a visit, admiral, and when you walk through that park, you forget for a moment that you're actually on a space station, and not on some paradise planet. Would you like me to bring back pictures for you?"
*Hedford entered the office of Admiral Montrell and walked inside the dark room*
"Goodevening Admiral, I here have an update on the report you asked for. Repairs on the ships have begun and others are in orbit of the station. Several ships have requested new supplies, to continue their journey back home. I only need your approval to do this."
*Hedford hands the report over to Admiral Montrell who had turned his chair to face him directly*
off: come on...post you slackers!
"Yes Major, I really appreciate this. It will definitely be discussed among the other admirals, we can't be naive and disregard what has happend at Deep Space 12."
*Montrell stands up and walks to the replicator*
"But you told me earlier that your own homeplanet was destroyed by the Na'jigat, weren't you prepared? Didn't you all have your premonitions? "
"I understand, I wish you all the best and also strength with this difficult undertaking"
*Montrell turns to Commodore Hedford who had already done his story*
"Thank you Commodore, I'll stop by his office immediately"
*Montrell sees Hedford turning towards the door and leaving his office. He then stands up and also leaves*
OFF: I don't believe Hedford did run a restaurant on Starphoenix. But you never know :P, he's a man with many talents
"I see, I see. Well gentlemen, as I've read the report of Ambassador Gordon which gave me several reasons to think about, I'm deciding not to proceed in any talks with this race. I don't think they share the same interest as our Federation, and at this moment we have more important issues at hand. There may be moments in the future, where this race has improved their way of life, improved in such way that contact may be made again."
"I will enjoy seeing you again when I come back and report what I find out about the Sal'Tek, then you will regret what you just said."
"Perhaps you are right about one thing Ambassador, You are a child, and you should be treated as such for going against everything the Federation stands for."
*Wish that said Brian taps his combadge and in a aura of blue light disappears off the station. His destination unknown*
"They died for your incompetance......hmm"
*Montrell coughs*
"Well as we are both human, we are allowed to make mistakes. And how we deal with those mistakes, defines how we really are...Ofcourse there is regret and guilt as such a thing happens, but you are stronger than that! You had the time to deal with it all, and now it's time to move on. I'm not saying that you need to forget all that happend, but what I mean to say is that you need to move it aside and think of it as a lesson."
*At that moment, the voice of Hermes resounds.*
"My apologies, admiral and captain, for your interruption, but I have a request to make of admiral Montrell. Mr. Montrell, we have a Loxian civilian on board, named Varnek. He desires to see 'The Burma', who I believe is former captain Burma of the U.S.S. Skytoucher. He currently resides at Vontak Nor, and Mr. Varnek requests a transport to that Cardassian station. Can you help him, admiral?"
OFF: Montrell, the idea now is that you decide Varnek will be brought over there with a shuttle or something. When you have answered Hermes with that decision, Sanchez will have a chance to offer taking Varnek there himself.
*Admiral Montrell enters his office and walks to the couch. It was so placed that when you would sit in it, you could look at the stars. If he needed time to think, Diego could be found in this couch. Diego sat down and took several padds that were laying beside him*
"Hermes, can you tell me how far the repairs of the Skytoucher are? Please give me a time of readyness. Also update me on the actions aboard the station. Are the civilians already moved to a safer location?"
Captain Taurik enters Admiral Montrell's office, holding a PADD in his hand.
"Admiral, I have the report for this mission. I also have the parts list for the rather... extensive repairs required."
Simply Mr Montrell we are concerened about the resources this project is receiving and the key members of the project want to see how the resources are used.
Could the project be better managed under new leadership? is Vorak up to the task? thats the questions that have been raised and thus why we are here. Mr Casdan while also my assistant is the representative of starfleet so you need not worry about under hand dealings
(Edited by Draekon at 1:22 pm on Mar. 7, 2005)
He took a seat. "I'll have water for now, I am saving my thirst for a nice scotch from the pub here".
He began to go into the highlights of thier missions.
"As you know, I was assigned to the Skytoucher in the middle of the Dantor mission. But a basic war took place on that planet between starfleet, marines, and some sort of spider species. Long story short, the excellent work of my science officer, Lieutenant Malia, ended the spiders' rampage. The Lieutenant came up with an explosive which released an acid, which destroyed the spiders in a mass way."
He paused.
"Also on Dantor I encountered problems with one of my own crew. If you have not been told already, Lieutenant Commander Balkazar was relieved of duty while on Dantor due to his insubordination. I was last aware that he was being transferred, at my request of course. Mr. Balkazar felt he was to command the entire situation, ignoring me on more than one occasion. As you can surmise, I did not tolerate such acts, and have no desire to experience them again".
He then broke from that subject into thier most recent assignment.
"Deep Space Twelve...That I assume you know more about. The borg came, and we seemed to be gaining the upper hand when the lifeform Na'jigat appeared, it destroyed the Borg Cube, probally a lifesaver for many of the fleet, since it had that much larger source of energy to devour. However, Deep Space Twelve was not safe from such a lifeform, and was destroyed in a swift manner.....From there, we were ordered by Admiral Karelia to return to our home bases, and here we are".
OFF: I currently don't have any idea yet for a next mission for the Skytoucher. If you have anything in mind, feel free to propose it.
Ambassador Gordon entered the office.
"My apoligies for the abrupt entrance however I was not aware you had guests, and i very much think it appropriate to discuss in person what i sent you a few days ago."
*Balkazar returns to the station and goes to Montrell's office to drop off a PADD detailing his interesting field trip to Dantor, The Black Trojan, the rescue of Patrick brown, the progress of scotty and how well he handled the situation, and how he handled my surprise tests about the fake bomb, and the fake intruder alert. The rest of the PADD trails off with lil tid bit information that was picked up and how well Dantor bases security was keeping up, and how well the base was being ran, along with other boring stuff*
*Balkazar then drops the PADD off at Montrell's office and heads for the DSA to catch up on everything that happened over there*
Will hangs his head for a moment. "You're right. But how can I expect to just move on? Did you know that I knew every one of those people? I made sure of it. I have spoken to every one of those people, and they're all dead. Even some of the officers that I worked with daily are dead. Captain Freeman, he was one of my best friends. I saw him on Ops everyday. And Tom, my brother. My BROTHER, for God's sake! He died on the Tiberon. And all the bridge crew on the Righteous, I watched them die in front of my eyes. I beamed away from that hulk looking at their bloody corpses on the floor. And when I got to the Evolution, I saw that little ship shatter into a million pieces, and I watched as the station fell to the surface of Envidia II. I just... I just stared. Stared from my safe vantage point on that bridge."
Will slammed his hand on the admiral's desk. "I should have died there. Deep Space Twelve should have been my grave."
*Montrell nods and salutes back*
*Montrell then grabs one of the padds laying on the table and goes to work*
"You are dismissed
"
*Montrell was standing in front of the replicator and saw a cup of Irish coffee and a cup of tea being replicated. He took them both and placed the Irish coffee in front of captain Sanchez and then sat down*
"I must say that I didn't expect such a report on Vontak Nor. You say that they have built their own "culture" and even the remaining Cardassians are working with them?"
*At that moment Hermes spoke*
"Ehrm...Yes Hermes, this wasn't the best moment to contact me. Let's ehrm..*Montrell thinks*..tell him that he will need to wait for the next transport. If I remember correctly there will be a ship heading that way next week or perhaps we can sent a shuttle but I will decide that later. Let me finish this debriefing first."
=^= All senior officers, report to my office. =^=
Taurik sees the Admiral is not there, and leaves the report on the desk, and walks out.
"Well I can assure you that your findings at the end will satisfy your members back home. This project is still a succes and will become one of the best in Starfleet, I am sure. We have found new life and civilazations, we have made new discoveries on the scientific and engineering level. All these things have improved the status of Starfleet and the Federation, I can't see why someone in the Alpha Quadrant wouldn't be happy with these results."
*Montrell walks to one of the windows in his office*
"But I will cooperate in your investigation. You asked for a meeting with the senior officers on this station? I will arrange it. You ask for a detailed report on Admiral Vorak? I will arrange it. You ask for my resignation? I will arrange it. But you keep in mind that I will fight against any bureaucratic decision made and based on this investigation, which ofcourse had a negative effect on this project!"
*Montrell was listening to the Captain's story, in the mean time he placed a glass of water in front of him. Montrell sat down in his chair and took little sips from his tea.*
"So you can confirm that Dantor is ready to be rebuild again? We have old reports that say otherwise, but it would be a great benefit for Starfleet if that planet is safe again."
*Montrell stops a moment and takes a padd*
"Captain, do you consider the incident with Lt. Commander Balkazar a case for the JAG department?"
He Stands.
"If that is all Admiral, or if a briefing for the Skytouchers next mission is in store for me..I am eager to find that pub". He finished off with a smile.
"Ambassador, it's good to see you! Please enter"
*Montrell sees Ambassador Gordon entering and Montrell motions him to take a seat*
"I've not yet had the time to completely read your report, but it seems that you and Admiral Higgings don't agree on what has happend at Frontier. I have now heared the story from Admiral Higgins, but I'd like to hear your version"
*Montrell walks behind Commander Rasmain, and as he sits down, Montrell walks to the other side of his desk*
"Very well Commander, it's good to see you. I've read your report on the battle of Avalon and I regret the loss of all those officers. They have given their lives for our survival and I made sure that their names a properly named in all our reports, they may not be forgotten! Including those from the other ships."
*Montrell stands up and walks over to a large window in his office*
"I can still see debris, flying around the station."
The newly reinstated Admiral Karelia salutes his superior. "I won't, sir. Thank you, again!"
"It's not easy moving on, but I believe that keeping your place here at Starfleet would give you a chance to work on your regret. What would you do if you left here? Feeling regret the rest of your life? I believe that your survival of this dramatic happening, has not been for nothing. Every action, every outcome in life, has a purpose. I'm sure that you don't understand what kind of purpose the destruction of DS12 could possibly have, but I know that a path has been made for you and this path will still keep you here at Avalon!"
*Sanchez hears the conversation between Hermes and Montrell, and looks up.*
"Ummm... admiral, perhaps my ships could bring this Loxian to Vontak Nor. Surely there can be some fascinating anomaly found out there, for us to return to and investigate. That is, unless you have other orders planned for us, of course."
"Well then, let's see what has been happening in OPS"
*Montrell stands up and leaves his office.*
(where were they being evacuated to? I can't remember the place if we talked about one.)
Yes lets.
Lurado entered the room and stood in front of the desk.
"Reporting as requested Admiral".
*Embries chimes at the door of Montrell's office, and enters. The admiral, surprised to see Embries at such a late hour still, offers him a seat and asks him what the problem is.*
"Admiral, I feel I must warn you, for the good of Starfleet, and this station in particular. No doubt, you have read the various reports of the Na'jigat attacks in the past... the Loxian asteroid colony they destroyed, the attack near Vontak Nor, their destructive attack at Dantor, and at the Temples of Sordinan in D.A. space, and now the utter destruction of Deep Space 12."
*He takes a deep breath.*
"Admiral, I have observed all this closely, and read every detail of the reports that talked about the Na'jigat attacks I didn't witness myself. I know more of them than anyone else here on the station, aside from a few people that have joined the Order of Gallifrey. My own species lost their homeworld to the Na'jigat, many centuries ago, and those who survived now live in hiding and fear from the Na'jigat. During each attack, the Na'jigat grew stronger, and gathered more energy. The last attack was the greatest power display of the Na'jigat I have seen so far, and we were lucky to have two members of the Order of Gallifrey mounting a surprise attack on them, or I would not be alive to tell you this now. But after the battle was over, all ships retreated to Avalon Station, and the Na'jigat must be furious in its defeat. My premonitions keep telling me that the Na'jigat is planning the largest assault ever... on THIS station. They are in hiding now, in recuperation, regaining their strength and energy, quietly preparing their attack on Avalon Station. Admiral Montrell, they destroyed an entire Borg cube in mere seconds! This station, big and powerful as it is, will be no match for them. We must be prepared for when they come, if we are to stand even the smallest chance of surviving their assault."
OFF: Sorry for the late response, but other matters needed my attention.
---------------
*Montrell stood up and walked towards the replicator*
"Interested in something admiral?"
*Montrell ordered a cup of tea and looked back at the admiral*
"I must say that you have new intelligence material, I have not yet heared about a new "possible" weapon against the Na'jigat, but this is partly as I'm aware that no weapon is able to fight them. But I'm looking forward to your progress in this field, and for the other intelligence about Frontier, I have not yet read the report from my ambassador. Still I'm not yet sure what to think of this situation. What are your suggestions"
*Montrell then remembers that he had a meeting with Commander Rasmain*
=A= Admiral Montrell to Commodore Hedford =A=
"I'm sorry, but I need you to do something for me. I know that you're very busy but I need you to debrief Commander Rasmain for me. After that's done, report back to me and I will tell him how the future looks like for him."
=A= Montrell out =A=
"Sorry Admiral, where were we?"
=/\= Ops to Admiral Montrell =/\=
"Sir, the Evolution has returned to the station. The Flag Admiral is aboard"
=/\= Ops Out =/\=
Will stared at the spot where he slammed the desk. He glanced to his hand, which was now very red from the impact.
"What have I become?" he whispered to himself. "How does a Starfleet admiral get reduced to this?"
Suddenly, Will stands, snapping to attention. "Sir. I would like to officially retract my request to resign my commission."
*casually walks in his old office*
hmm Montell, looks like you've moved up in the world while i've been gone. At least my old office hasn't changed much
You seen Admiral Vorak anywhere??
*Montrell thinks for a second*
"Mhwel, I had no real plans with the Evolution. I wanted to wait for Admiral Parker, if she still needed a ship to transport any goods to Dantor but it seems that she's still working out the details."
*Montrell stands up and watches the stars through one of the windows in his office*
"And you are sure that your crew doesn't require any relaxation aboard the station? They have had several missions in a row."
"Thank you, admiral. We will speak again soon."
*Sanchez leaves the office and heads back to the Evolution.*
OFF: Lol, they were evacuated from the promenade and their quarters to safer parts of the station. For example the cargobays

. There we had set up shield emitters (for example...just add some things yourselve) so they would be safe. Please join us in OPS and tell about the evaq
"Interested in the A.I system, you mean? Well that can be arranged. Shall we immediately do this tour?"
*Montrell layed down a padd he was reading*
"Yes Captain, please sit down. Would you like something to drink?"
*Admiral Montrell stands up and walks to the replicator*
"I've been briefed shortly on the happenings at Dantor and Deep Space 12. I was hoping that you could fill in the blanks for me."
*Montrell ordered a cup of tea and awaited the Captain's request*
"We will continue to work on it, Admiral."
"As far as Gordon report, I think we should make contact with them, Couldnt hurt us and it wont hurt them. They are fighting a war that we dont understand, I say allow them to teach us to understand them. (The enemy of my enemy is my friend), Frontier makes the alliance out to be bad people, but I have met some of them and they arent bad people, there just misunderstood, because we wont take the time to understand them. Thats what went wrong at Frontier, the Admiralty, wouldnt take time to understand them. But I believe that if you talked to them, then I think it would benefit us in the end, They wish to form an alliance. But after the Frontier incident they arent too sure. Half there fleet was destroyed fighting the Chronastines to protect that outpost. They mean well when they say they will defend us until we grow up. But they are also willing to teach us how to grow up. But no one has allowed them too teach us. So I figured I would come here on there behalf so to speak."
"Will you talk to them, it wouldnt hurt. But if you wish to talk to them Alliance, there leaders will come. They tend to travel in huge ships when going into unknown territory such as this. But I assure you, Andros wouldnt hurt you. So will you let them teach us how to grow ?"
OOC**I had to actually think when posting this one :P Oh no
. Its cool Montrell, We understand
your slow in your old age LOL.
"Yes Captain, that's all for now. There is currently no mission for the Skytoucher planned. I suggest you use this time for repairs and for your crew to get some rest and relaxation."
*Montrell took a padd from the table*
"Dismissed" *He sees the captain turn around and leave his office*
"Let me see, report no 22 of 54, why can't we have Hermes to read these and file them....he's clever enough" *sigh*
*Also rises and shakes the ambassador's hand*
"Very well, until the next time Ambassador!"
*Montrell stood up and headed towards the door towards OPS*
*Montrell smiles for a second and the replies*
"Retract your request to resign your commission. Ofcourse Will, consider that done. Now let's talk about your position here aboard this station. I assume you would like to keep a place in a command function?"
*Montrell saw Will nodding and then continued*
"I have already spoken with Admiral Vorak, as I was still hoping on your consideration, and he agreed on this. As we are now moving Station Avalon towards Dantor and with the frequent absence of Admiral Vorak, my workload has increased dramaticly. Therefor I'm willing to give you the command over Avalon Division. This will give me more room and time to look into the whole Expansion Project."
eltar noron reporting as order sir
"The past missions have been rather... hectic. But a quiet mission to Vontak Nor is what the crew needs now. It is a perfect occassion for them to calm things down and spend some time in the messhall or holodecks. By the way, on Vontak Nor, the Loxians have built a beautiful park that is worth visiting. Nothing holographic, but a real indoor park, with all sorts of plants and trees one's never seen before. I could make some pictures for you next time I'm there, if you want, admiral.

"
*As the two gentlemen had left his office, Admiral Montrell continued with his normal duties. He had to read several reports and complete a debriefing for Starfleet Command. Before he continued work, he stands up and walks to the replicator. He orders Vulcan Spice Tea and some moments later a cup of tea materializes in the replicator. He then walks back to his desk and sees that a message has been relayed to his computer from OPS.*
"This is strange, a message stating to have vital information for me but not giving me any. This better be real ...."
Mr. Montrell, it has come to our attention that...ehem..*he looks around*
Computer, disable audio recording devices in this office, authorization Casden Alpha. *after hearing the computers acknowledgement he turns back to Montrell.*
That due to certain events Admiral Vorak may no longer be fit to command this sector. Our presense here is to check this information and perform our own investigation into this matter. I will expect your utmost cooperation in this matter.
Lets get the pleasentries out of the way first before we get to business.
I'm most interested in seeing this new technology that the station is built off.
Dont you agree? *looks at Casdan*
"Thank you, admiral."
*Embries leaves and heads to his quarters to get some sleep.*
"Umm...I know that you probably aren't the best person to be going to with such trivial requests, bu I was wondering if there was a facility on your station that could be used in lieu of a crematorium. Please, it's very important."
OOC**I think this is the right place lol
IC**After the 2 admirals enter the office and montrell took his seat behind his desk, Brian starts to explain the use of the converter*
"Intelligence has been studying the nijgat ever sense they entered our sector of the galaxy, and we believe we may have found a weapon that could possible hurt or cripple them. However, it required huge amounts of energy which is where the (Energy Converter) comes into play. Its planned use is to turn the nijgat's energy sucking against itself, you see admiral. Whatever kind of energy you stick into the converter it will convert it into useable energy for us. Meaning if the Heraan decides to fire there weapons, it doesnt matter what kind of weapons they use at the station, that energy is redirected into the converter and it will switch to the most potent energy you wish to make out of it. I know it sounds like this is useless but its not. Intel is currently working on a weapon that can harness and use the converters energy into a potent weapon. The plan is, is to figure out how to harm the nijgat. Well, why not use its own weapons against it ?. Thats our thinking at the moment. Right now we are 50% completed with the (Stellar Cannon). The Cannon requires so much energy to run that it draws the energy from the converter into a nice potent phaser beam of sorts. Its a positive energy phaser beam. We think that the cannon can also be used as a defensive network too. But we are still toying with that concept."
"Now, the other reason I came here, Recently you have been sent a document concerning events thats been happening at Frontier. I would like to put my own 2 cents into it. To add the truth so to speak."
"The Threat, that your ambassador speaks of in his report, isnt the Knights. The Knights are trying there hardest to protect the federation from the true enemy, There are new threats trying to make there incursions into this galaxy, the Sal'Tek, for example, my reports tell me that they are worse then the nijgat on so many levels, Andros, has his enemy from his old home galaxy, the Chronastines. There angels compared to the Sal'Tek, but they are a bad sort too. I have witnessed first hand on how the Commanders over at frontier station have welcomed a worthy ally and guest, and its not the way you would have done it, the Admirals over there met Andros with discontent, mistrust, and they wanted to hang him from his neck so to speak, because his way wasnt the right way for them. Yes, I suppose Andros wanted supplies from frontier, but the admirals over there didnt even try to understand Andros's Point of veiw on things. I will tell you his point of veiw. His old homeworld was in a state of civil war, brothers against brothers, sisters against sisters, you get the idea. Well the Chronastines killed Andros's parents, forced him from his own planet because they didnt see eye to eye, then they hoped into there mother ship, known as the Alexander and feld to save there own lives. Then Intel Found them, helped them out, and found them a new world to give them. Then Andros tried to go and talk to the Federation at frontier and all the Admirals did was show him distrust, and disrespect for no reason. We are on a breaking point, Sir. We are on the edge of a knife and new allies are what we need, new allies, new friends. *sighs*, Atleast meet with Andros before you pass judgement over weather or not you trade with him. Talk to him, get to know him, You may find that he has alot to offer you, not in just ships. Perhaps we should try a diplomatic solution to this instead of trying to cut them out all the way. I can summon him here right now if you wanted to talk to him. But allow me to tell you a little bit about him."
"Andros, is a General. Even tho his people treat him as a King, and in some ways a god, he is there general. His men would put there very lives on the line for him. Hes kind, Gentle, honorable, and hes VERY! respectful of others, even if they arent respectful back. He would treat you with the utmost respect even if you were his enemy. Which I hope it doesnt come down to that. He safe guards his men, and his men safe guard him. He owes intel his very life, sir. The USS Unity saved his ship and him almost 2 years ago. And ever sense then hes put his life, and his men have put there lives on the line every single day to make sure Federation space remains as such, Federation space, not Sal'Tek space, Or borg space. We need to treat Andros with the utmost respect. Then he will show us respect right back."
"Andros and his people are also telepathic, with some rare telekenetic abilities. He may have a big ship and he may be telepathic to the extreme but he uses his ship NOT! to conquer like the Frontier may have claimed, he uses his ships to defend us. I know we can defend ourselves, but compared to his enemy, we are but children trying to survive in a hostile world. We need to grow, and Andros is willing to teach us how too. He uses his telepathy to help people whos minds have been hurt, whos bodies have been shattered bye some war or such. He wants to help us, I say let him help us, Allow him to help us grow so we can defend ourselves from these threats that we know NOTHING! about. Be open minded Admiral, Maybe then you would be surprised how worthy of allies and friends they can be."
"Part of the Federation Charter I think, was to search out new life, and new civilizations. Well this is a new life form, and I think you should hear out what Andros and his Katorlian allies have to say. Both there enemies are coming, and I think that it would be a wise decision to talk to them. Im asking you to talk to them Admiral. Theres no harm in it is there ?"
"Wait...what? You're promoting me? You're putting me in command of Avalon Division? That's the core of the whole operation! Sir, I... I don't know what to say! Thank you!"
"All right, you have permission to return to Vontak Nor and bring Varnek to "Great" Burma. But there is a possibility that you will need to return here, strange things can happen here once a while."
*Montrell takes his tea and drinks*
"Don't let your coffee get cold Captain, and don't you leave before it's empty.
. Please tell me something about that park, the Loxian's have build on Vontak Nor"
*He and his companion beam into the Admirals office. Casden walks around behind Montrell's desk and sits down propping his feet on the desk. He then take out a dagger and begins playing around with it while waiting for Montrell. Casden's Companion remains hooded and seated in a dark corner of the room.*
*Montrell still had the cup of tea to his lips and didn't move. He was astonished by the answer of the two gentlemen. Gentlemen? Who was he kiddin? These two men were higher-ranked in the Federation then he was. But since when did the Federation conduct an investigation instead of Starfleet itself?*
"I'm honoured with your visit gentlemen. But why did the Federation conduct this investigation and not Starfleet itself?"
"It always easy to look back on things isn't it Mr Casden? It's just so typical for us to look back on things and tell everyone how they should have been done! You can't turn around the decisions made back then, you can ofcourse give your opinion. But if you read the reports carefully, you will see that the High-Command here at Avalon acted the right way."
*Montrell was silent for a moment, he then spoke again*
"But President and Mr Casden, please tell me. How would you like to begin? Examine the station first, or shall I inform the Department heads first?"
>-< Thank you kindly, admiral. We will be expecting your ship. Peace and harmony to you. Pax out. >-<
*incoming Transmission*
==^==
Sir,
the situation is geting really bad Starbase 12 has been sabtoged and I have lost 859 pepole in that distruction and with Starbase 12 badly damaged Iam having to sent my ships to the nearst repair base which is Avalon station and the Warp trail of the pepole who sabatoged Starbase 12 goes toward Borg Space it looks like some one dos'nt what my starbase here also one of my ships the U.S.S Harbour Grace ans intercepted a movement of Romluan and Alien ships along the nuturel Zone this all happend after the destrution if Deep Space 12 I belive that this is all linked as my Starbase is only 11.2 light years from Deep Soace 12 I believe that this is a start of an Invasion of the Federation and the last string hold is Station Avalon which will be there next Target we must put all Federation Ships on High Alert and move as many ships as pospile to Defend Sataion Avalon Presenly Iam on Starbase 12 and I will Be returning to Station Avalon soon I only hope that it will not be too late do'nt hestyate to contact me and also if you whant to talk about this at Starbase 12 you are welcome to come
Admiral Richard Ransom out..==^==
OFF: I will reply, as I return to my office soon
*Montrell smiles*
"I believe that sounds as a "yes" and so you also accept all responsibilities that come with this position? I'm confident that this suites your capabilities, but if there is any problem, me and Admiral Vorak are there to assist! Don't hesitate to ask for help, because we do understand the situation you are currently facing."
"I see Hermes, well in that case let's hope that the Loxians decide to move on impulse for the rest of their journey."
*Then Montrell hears the Red alert claxon blazing. He then knows that the Loxians are in visual range and their chances were already calculated. Montrell got out of his chair and headed for the door in his office. Before he left, he turned around and had a final look at the stars.*
"Hermes, please contact Ambassador Gordon or Miss Love and tell them to hurry with the evacuation. It won't be long before Admiral Detrell will have to shut down those areas and what we don't need is "trapped" civilians."
*With those last words he left his office*
off: Montrell, you may wanna read the last post made by me on the previous page......
Because sometimes Mr Montrell it's easier to go from the top then to wade through reams of red tape.
While I am on this station, I would also appreciate appropriate security measures are taken, I am rather valuable after all. And I would also like to schedule a meeting with the other senior officers and heads of department.
Hmmm...that is true Mr. President...and Shadowfleet had an even worst record if I recall correctly. to my knowledge they lost 4 ships to Avalons 1. However, is still needs looked into. Perhaps the situation could have been handled better......
*Suddenly, the voice of Hermes resounds in the room.*
"My apologies for the interruption. I would just like to announce that a party has started to celebrate the opening of a new store on the station's Habitat. All are welcome to stop by. Thank you, and you may now continue your business."
OFF: The party is at
http://www.expansionfleet.com/cgi-bin....269;t=2
*Montrell sits down again and works on a mission briefing for Captain Lurado. This would be a mission for the Skytoucher as they were ready with repairs and the Evolution was still under repairs. This mission was crucial for reviving the relationship between the Delta Alliance and the Federation, it had to succeed.*
OFF: I don't know if you are still here admiral, but I am sorry for my absence. Do you still want to start posting in here or?
"Hermes, I am aware of this, Thats why I said I am working on such a weapon, Thats why we came up with an energy converter. Can you please leave me and Admiral Montrell, Alone now ?. Go into privacy mode, or Just ignore this room."
*Montrell was sitting behind his desk and looked up from his work*
"Yes Will, I called for you."
*Montrell stood up and streched his uniform*
"I heared and read that you intend to leave this station and us?"
"The repairs of the U.S.S. Skytoucher are complete for 87% and all crucial systems are already operational within established parameters. All systems should be fully functional within 7 hours. The station currently holds 215.854 civilians, of which 42% has already been relocated to safer areas. Estimated time to move the remaining civilians to safer areas, is unknown, but I believe it may take several more hours."
Rather rude if you ask me, I thought Hermes was supposed to have answered all requests and alert the admirals?
I believe thats what the reports say *looks at the padd*
"So you are actually investigating the whole Station on it's capabilities and communication. Didn't we produce the right results? Or is Flag Admiral Vorak the main reason for your investigation?"
*Montrell empties his cup of tea and then stands up.*
"Well Mr President and Casden, I will ofcourse give you my utmost cooperation in this matter but I will not discredit Admiral Vorak. In my eye's he hasn't conduct any misbehaviour!"
"You imply that other projects don't suffer these losses? We are here to discover new life and new civilazations and we are given resources to complete these objectives. But these objectives can't be completed by a 100% succes and without casualties. There are always set backs, and from these we learn! We have learned about the Naji'gat, a supreme lifeform, but we didn't by just listening to a story. We were confronted by their powers and this lead to the destruction of the Rivendell. But from this encounter, we were able to prevent the destruction of Station Avalon. So we may have lost a ship but this loss saved our station which I think is more valuable to us and to your council back in the Alpha Quadrant."
He leaned forward and took the water.
"It might be, I do suggest some sort of action be taken. Be it demotion or court marshal. The chief caused his share of problems during a very critical situation...Dantor, it is indeed ready for rebuilding. We were ordered from the system, but the marines remained to see to any of the spiders that remained, and I feel if any small pockets of them are found they can quickly be defeated by the acid my science officer produced".
Will walked into the office and addressed the senior Fleet Admiral at the desk.
"Hello, Admiral, it's been a while. I've filled out the official report on the loss of DS12. The fatality count came down to 52,471 people."
He sets the PADD on the desk, and takes a seat.
"I've just spoken with Flag Admiral Nakamura. He says I'm to be reassigned to the Alpha Quadrant, as overseer of the restoration efforts on Raxus III after the devastating solar flares there."
Admiral Ransom walk to Admiral Montrells officer and rings the chime and waits
Will walks into the office after recieving a personal call from Admiral Montrell.
"Diego? You called for me? I was getting ready to head out to Deep Space Five, what's up?"
"Admiral Higgins, may I remind you that the Na'jigat are unable to be harmed by any of our weapons, this has been confirmed by the Gallifreyans and by observations of the Na'jigat itself. No energy or particle weapon can harm them, only pure psionic energy can drive them away, and sadly, such a defense is far beyond our means."
*laughs* This oughta be interesting
We shall see. I guess we should begin?
Why have you lost ships? specifically the rivendell. You caputred a ship and allowed it to be destroyed. Then seeked Starfleet approval to build a new ship? Is this ship to also suffer the same fate? I see it's already lost a section of it's MVA which had to be rebuilt.
Not to mention numerous damage reports from the other ships. I see you nearly lost the skytoucher to a hijack?.
I'm sure Mr Montrell u will probobly hate me by the time I"m finished
"Ofcourse Embries, I want to thank you for informing me. Get some rest now, I don't think you have had your off-duty time since you came back with the Evolution."
*Montrell nods to the major as he leaves his office. He then sees, he received a message. He turns his desktopmonitor and reads the message carefully*
"It seems that peace and balance have been restored" *Montrell mumbles*
=A= Transmission from SS Avalon =A=
TO: Yzakian Representative Pax of the Delta Alliance
FROM: Fleet Admiral Montrell
Subject: Relations
Mr Pax,
I am glad to hear that the civil war within the Delta Alliance has been settled. Now, it is in the best interest for all our people that the relationship between the Federation and the Delta Alliance flourishes again. I will therefor sent the USS Skytoucher on their way, and they will bring your officer, who has done a remarkable job here, with them.
Greetings,
Admiral Montrell
=A= Transmission ends =A=
*Montrell smiles as Admiral Karelia enters his office, but that quickly turns into a straight face. More then 50,000 casualties, he had witnessed defeat but this was one he wouldn't soon forget.
Montrell takes the PADD and reads it*
"Well Admiral, I've read so many reports on the Na'jigat that I almost get used to it, while I shouldn't!
All these loses, is that why you are reassigned? Why didn't the Flag Admiral assign you to Avalon or perhaps Dantor...."
(OFF: Hedford, didn't you used to run a restaurant in Starphoenix?)
"Hermes, I am part of intelligence, its my business to know of technology long before you even gleam such things. Meaning, I get to play with the newest toys while your stuck eavesdropping on other peoples conversations. We have access to more area's in starfleet then you Hermes. I dont need to start to loose my mind bye argueing with a stations Computer. Could you please give me and Montrell a little Privacy ?
*Admiral Montrell stands surprised.*
"What is this? I was told to be given valuable information, but not 2 strange looking humanoids in my office! Please explain, before I call security! And put away the dagger before you scratch anything!"
*sighs* yes, i suppose we should. will you tell him, or shall i?
OFF: I already told him Karelia :P, but he was going to fix his posting after his beauty sleep....did he fix it! *shrugs* Montrell awaits a post fixing and reply Mr President

Transmission from: Yzakian Representative Pax of the Delta Alliance
Directed to: Admiralty of Avalon Station, Starfleet
Message:
This is Representative Pax, speaking for the Delta Alliance. We owe you our apologies for having your ship, the U.S.S. Evolution, involved with a civil war that took place in our part of space. But I am happy to inform you that the matters have been settled, and peace and balance have been restored. We feel that you have been disadvantaged by our internal strife, and wish to restore our good relations with you. Therefore, We would like for you to send a ship to our space, so we can begin the rebuilding of our communications. We also received report that you are rebuilding the station of Starphoenix at the planet Dantor, and that meanwhile you lost the station Deep Space 12 to the Na'jigat, for which our condolences. Seeing that DS12 is now gone, Starphoenix Base is the closest located Starfleet station to D.A. space, and I hope that it could become an important crossroads between Starfleet and the D.A. We are also recalling an officer of ours, the Droid Comm One, that had been on your station as exchange officer. He is to take command of the A.S.C. Revox after the former captain, Ardwyad, was relieved of duty. We are currently located at the homeworld of the Nigillians, it should be on your stellar maps. We hope to welcome you soon. Pax out. >-<
OFF: Check the Cartography and the Expansion Fleet map to know which location I mean. The idea is that the Skytoucher is sent to D.A. space, and take Comm One with them. Post responses also in the D.A. forums, at the A.S.C. Revox forum (mission 3, the most recent topic).
"I don't know. Nakamura probably thinks I'm incompetant, and I can't blame him. But I can't just sit at some colony watching construction. I can't settle for that. That's why I sent Nakamura my resignation notice."
"No, sir, it's for my parents. The cremation facility aboard their ship is no longer functioning, and they wished to be cremated and the ashes committed to the void from which they derived their livelihood."
"To do so would go against my primary programming. What if heavily armed soldiers beamed into this room? I could have no way to warn the rest of the station!"
Hermes waited, then continued. "Besides, I was only trying to save you time and effort. No such weapon is possible. I have perused the Gallifreyan archives, or what little they have made available, and have seen numerous attempts by themselves to create weapons against the Na'jigat. Thousands of years, and no success. What hope do you have to accomplish what they could not?"
OFF: So this is not really an RPG mission? I mean you are asking why the division boards are down? Do you know the CO? Or have his email adress? This way we could mail him and ask about the "down-time" of the site. If not, I'm sure that Admiral Vorak is reading this and may have a solution (a way to contact the CO).
*looks at casden and bursts out laughing* you know back on earth they always said the station was an outpost of fun and merriment, I've never been so entertained in my life.
"Nobody threatens you? Who do you really think you are here....it's just so insane!"
*Montrell sits down and awaits the "big" answer from the two gentlemen*
"You wouldn't mind if I finish drinking my cup of tea, would you? Just so excited to hear your conclusion! It must be special considering that you are acting like I'm meeting two very important and special gentlemen" *ends with a laugh*
*Then Montrell takes the cup and brings it to his lips*
Off: Resources be ba better word?
*Montrell was still thinking about Karelia's words, resignation sounded so strange. Starfleet couldn't just let an admiral resign, his experience was so valuable.*
"You already sent that notice to the admiral? You never thought of trying to fight this reassignment?"
*Montrell lays down the PADD*
"I am sorry, but I can't just let you resign! You have so much experience in this part of the Delta Quadrant and thus are too valuable to loose"
*Hedford stood before the admiral's office and a chime could be heared inside. He heared Admiral Montrell calling and so he opened the doors and entered*
"Admiral Montrell, I've come to say that Admiral Vorak has arrived and I think he and also Admiral Karelia have urgent matters to discuss with you."
OOC**Understandable, the purpose with the big gun, is to harm other ships, its sorta a planetary defense thing, but it requires the converter to work.
"Then, you openly Decide to war them. They are just trying to find a peaceful coexistence in this galaxy, and people like you make it very difficult for them to do so. I know Andros better then you, Ambassador, and you can rest assured that if ANYONE! attacks Federation space he will intervene with the full force of his fleet."
"I am not stretching the truth, I am telling the truth, your the one whos after them like a linch mob!. Im not. I treat them the exact same way they wish to be treated with respect, and you have no respect for anyone save yourself!."
(OFF: Sorry to butt in, but funding? Starfleet doesn't use money...)
Well then I guess I am in the same boaat, I have been with Nova Division since the beginning and never have there been so much inactivity. I have not herad from Admirals Hobson or Madison for almost a month now and I am getting worried about the division.
*Admiral Montrell turns around and narrows his eyes. He could see a hooded man, sitting in a dark corner of his office, laughing at him as if Montrell was nothing.*
"I don't know why this is so funny, but if you *points at the man in his chair* could stand up and put away the dagger. And then start talking about intruding my office, I may change my mind of calling security! And let you spent a night in the brig!"
Actually you are Mr Montrell. and yes you may finish your ttea.
Allow me to introduce my assistant. John Casden. His role is Executive AIde to the President. Thats the UFP President by the way. and me well I"m just hte casual observer.
You may begin Mr Casden.
Hermes lets out an audible sigh. "As you wish, Admiral..."
(OFF: But as I said, there will be no anti-Na'jigat weapon. Only the Gallifreyans may hurt them.)
"Sir, I just watched fifty thousand people die before my eyes. And Starfleet expects me to go watch a colony be rebuilt, after that? If they want to deem me incompetant, so be it, but I don't want Starfleet to baby me. A lieutenant could do that job, and they know that. They're just trying to stuff me in a corner so I can't screw up again."
=A= Avalon Station for Admiral Ransom =A=
"Admiral, you and your ships are welcome here at Station Avalon and we will be at a higer alert. Thank you for the information."
=A= Admiral Montrell out =A=
*Montrell then touches his combadge to adress Andrea Ramsey*
"Not the best person indeed, but you have already asked me so I'll answer. Yes we do have a crematorium, it's on the lower decks of station Avalon. I don't know the exact deck but you can ask the computer for the exact route. Although may I ask, is this cremation for one of our crewmembers?"
"This is not an open debate Mr. Higgins. I, nor anyone has ever suggested or hinted for war or hostilities. We will not have anything to do with these people. If that means they will force themselves in then i will suggest banishment from this Fleet. I am not after anyone. Speak only what you know Mr. Higgins. I am sure to you these people have been kind. But they have not been with all. Nothing you can say will make their actions right or justified. As i said, it is not an open topic. If i am to assume Admiral Montrell has just made his decision."
*Montrell was still thinking about the Loxian Park, about how paradise could have been created. He suddenly hears the question of Captain Sanchez and snaps back into reality*
"Ofcourse, I understand. You are cleared to undock and have a safe journey.
"
*Casden looks up at Montrell with a blank expression on his face. After a moment, he rises from the chair and narrows his eyes. Pointing the dagger at Montrell he speaks.*
Mister Montrell, nobody, and I do mean nobody threatens me. Is that clear?
*Casden turns to the hooded man.*
I am seriously beginning to doubt Montrell was the best choice here....what do you think?
"All right, gentlemen. Please follow me"
*Montrell stands up and walks to the door*
"We shall start here in OPS first"
OFF: Continue in other OPS forum
OOC**Could we stop with the OOC messages please ?. Im waiting for Montrell to post. And read your PM Will. The Converter wasnt meant to be too over powered, and I rarely am this creative :P.
"I'm not sure were Mr. Higgins got most of his facts myself. But he has mutated them for certain. I have nothing else no. Thank you for your time Admiral Montrell."
he rises and extends a hand.
*Sanchez rushes into Montrell's office.*
"Sorry that I'm late, admiral. I am here for the debriefing of my last mission to Vontak Nor. I have a report on my padd here."
*He hands over the padd to the admiral.*
"As you will see, I have nothing but positive remarks of this new treaty between Starfleet, the Cardassians and the Loxians. They appear to be getting along far better than expected even."
*Sanchez waits at Montrell's desk, for the admiral to tell him he may sit down.*
"Ah, good. Well, admiral, you will see that I wrote out a very detailed report on my findings at Vontak Nor. I believe most of your questions will be answered in there. I hope to be under way again soon, so if there was nothing else...?"
"Mr ....? You seem to find this very amusing, but I ensure you that every Starfleet Officer would react the way I do."
*Montrell walks towards the man in his chair and Montrell grabs the dagger. He then motions the man, to step out of his chair. Montrell awaits the man's response.*
Admiral,
I am requesting permission to transfer over to the new Windsor Division. I have been given the commision of Commanding Officer of the new space station for the division, and a promotion to captain. I have enjoyed serving on Avalon, but feel its time to move on to bigger and better things.
Thanks
Comaander Stephen Siko.
PS: This will leave the Chief of Ops position open now.
(OFF: Not to stifle creativity, but we should stick with established weapons for that. This converter sounds like it makes things too easy.)
*Montrell is surprised at what all happend right in front of him*
"I must say that the last part of this meeting, was rather strange. But as this discussion is over, I will relay my findings to Admiral Vorak. Was there anything else you'd like to discuss ambassador?"
"I see, I completely understand your motives. But maybe me or Admiral Vorak can change Admiral Nakamura's mind. Please stay here at Avalon for a while longer, and await the outcome. As I said, Starfleet would benefit from your presence here at Avalon."
*Montrell stops and grabbs a new PADD*
"That's also a reason that I need you here, I want you to look at these reports. You might have already read upon them, but they are all about the Na'jigat.
I've just had one of my departmentheads, someone who I believe and depend on, telling me that Station Avalon is in danger. I know it's soon after your loss of Deep Space 12, but I hope you have some more insight in this matter.
Would it, for example, be wise to take precautions here at Avalon? Maybe precautions which were also done at DS12? Or could have been done"
