Mr. Robin, there is a science position available aboard the U.S.S. Evolution.
Mr. Filip, there are no helm positions available in Avalon Division, but the position of helmsman is available on Frontier Division's U.S.S. Rivendell.
Both positions give the rank of Crewman 3rd Class, if you accept them.

I apologize for my extended LOA, due to personal issues that had to be resolved before I did anything else.
Although this will show as a new character, T'lana was know as Lt. Cmdr. Baphomet, Cheif Science Officer of the USS Rivendell, but that wasn't a very good name for a Vulcan, so I changed it.
If you still need a Chief Science Officer for the USS Rivendell I am available to return to duty, seeing as she has her own ship with meeting up with the Rivendell will not be a problem.
If that is alright with you guys that is?

in my past reports i have stated a worry about this cadet, his tendency to throw himself into his work at the expence of most soical activity. having finaly receved the rest of his medical history, i now understand why. it pertains to his genetic linage, he is decended from colonists who estabilished Deneva. among them were several groups who were all that remained of the products of several Earth eugenics programs. upon further study of his genome, i now theorize that sevaral of his ancesters were so-called 'super soldiers'. his reflexes, thought paterns(wich are indicateive of a three dimensional thinking process.) and corrective surgery for a 'chemical imbalance' also suports this.(this imbalance was commonly refered to as 'autism' in the days before it could be corrected) after searching the historic database, i found that certain types of soldiers were 'bred', most focused on tactical decision making and strength, his ancester i belive, was a special opperations type. problem solving, agility, and stealth were their enhanced traits. this officer though is to far removed from this ancester for this to have a more than the effects already listed on his medical record.
summery: although he has inturnal emotional conflicts, Kayeten has found, to my delight, certain medtative exersizes that help him maintain his emotional balance, much like a vulcans do.
calm demeaner, easy going but focusd on his work almost to a falt. some have looked past his bookish exteroior to find a loyal friend.lack of social experience has led to some incidents in the past but seems to have possibly over come that. has a rather un-complicated sense of humor

The Deep Space Academy is mandatory to gain the rank of Ensign or above, officer ranks. The courses typically last as long as the cadet is active, the more active you are, the quicker the things in it are done and finished.
If you do not wish to go through the academy, you are welcome to go directly to position as a Non Commisioned Officer starting at the rank of Crewman.

As far as I know, the only position in the diplomatic field would be on SS Avalon. It has both positions in the Embassy filled, and neither have that much to do. If you prefer a diplomatic position, you surely can. But I would do otherwise, it is not a very active role all of the time.

Since we're right in the end of officer positioning, that should suffice. You will want to ease into the Rivendells mission, I would suggest as a new officer assigned to bridge duty, so you've been there, but not been on the bridge.
The Rivendell is at a good spot for you to get in the mission, so that should work. The Captain should welcome another addition to the crew
