Yes the wait is bad, I apologise for any inconvenience it may have caused.  It makes it more difficult when I dont have any instructors to teach every class.

Although now there are more active teachers.  I am greatful to those that helped.

If Medical is something you'd like, I instruct that course. I don't know of the Diplomacy instructor, we had one.

But if you are interested in Medical, report to the Classroom for the field in the Deep Space Academy.
The DSA is located in the SS Avalon board.

Welcome, Ill be your security teacher.  Please change your Pip to 1st yr cadet and join the other cadets in the Holodeck there currently trying to escort a ambassador threw enemy territory and keep her safe.  The Ambassador is being played by one of the security officers in training.  So just jump on it :).

Simon is currently in the observation/control room so report in with him to let him know your there :)

Hello there and welcome to Expansion Fleet! I am sorry to say that we are temporary closing the DSA and Directly assigning ne members on as officers. You will be given a one month probation period so we can determine if it was a wise choice making you an officer. As for a helm position we are in need of a helmsmen on the Uss Lothlorien. If you wan I will make you Ensign and Helmsmen on board the Lothlorien.

So as a Crewman Recruit, and for active duty right away I assume? If that is so, you may report to Dantor Planetary Base. That is located in the 'Avalon Division' Board. I think the Academy course is taken there as well, if you choose to take that.

I chose the three for a pretty round education and range of fields to be qualified for. I will look for what postion looks best when I complete. I am most interested in ship postions, so Helm on a ship, or if Diplomats are needed on ships or JAG officers one.

Sorry Will, just the last time that someone had a messed up name it was unexceptable, I apologize if I went over your head or anything, but I figured I would be nice enough to go ahead and post to him because You and Vorak are the only ones active and things been sorta slow for you 2 for one reason or another.  Figured I would save time.

If you wish to do that 45633 and say you were some slave somewhere then I suppose it would work.  I apologize again if I over stepped.

Now onto Oclare.  Right now Balkazar isnt on the planet.  Dantor, but if you wish to jump into things then please PM me and ill figure something out or you can PM me with your MSN and we can talk that way, either way is up to you :).  We will figure something out lol.

Balkazar, I like your idea of joining the current mission. I'll have to work up a credible reason why she'd be there on her own in the first place but I think it would work. Would be a good way to smooth the introduction of both species and character.

Cadet Wiggin, at the moment I do not think there are command courses, I am unsure as to if there will ever be. I believe the command academy deal is when you reach the rank of Lieutenant, you are allowed to take the bridge commanders test.

With that said, I think you are able to begin on a ship, there are several availible at the moment, with your helm graduation.

Or she could have crash landed someplace *Up to you where* and shes rescued by any of the starfleet branches (Starfleet/Marine).

Right now if she wanted to do that theres 2 possibilities of her doing it.  The Evolution finds her, or I find her on the current off-world mission that was thrown my way.  Would make some sense with all the canyons and such on the planet in question and all that.  She could have hit one of them and in a ditch plan launched a beacon that anyone could pick up even the bad guys.  It wouldnt complicate the marine mission at all infact.

But thats my 2 cents, opening up options and your open to suggestions after all :D, but in the end its up to her.

The tact/sec course is located in the Deep Space Academy, which you can find by going to the SS Avalon board, then the Deep Space Academy forum, then the Deep Space Academy Sub Forum. The class is currently in the Holodeck, which should be marked as the 'Security Holodeck' or something to that effect. Your instructor is Captain Simon Rajnus. ;)

Their isnt a academy no more, so you get to pick.

Uss Evolution (Trying to get life kicked back into her)
Uss Rivendell
Uss Iroquois (Seems dead to me, 1 post in 2 weeks not good enough to keep a story going constantly)
Uss Lothlorien (Marine/Starfleet ran ship)

Theirs positions in the marines for medics if you wish.

But its up to you.  The Lothlorien is a good source of constant posting, same with the Rivendell (The ships full of Vulcans *cringes*)

Those are your choices and my personal narrating.

You can report in in Classroom 3 where you will start your education with Fleet Captain Mickerson, who will teach you Emergency Medical Training

May I ask something?

My Dad (EchoVanya) and my brother (robin) have been waiting for a reply for 3 days now, and I'm begining to wonder why nothing has happened for them, when me and mum (Eagleonia) got sent to ships the next day? It is a litle fustrating because they are logging in every few hours, to see if anything has happened and nothing has and they are getting rather fed up with it. Can someone please sort them out? Sorry if you think I am being rude, but I only want to help them.

There is a beginning command training in the DSA,but that cannot be your only field. Nobody can come right out of the academy to a command. Are there any other fields to start out in you are interested in?

If you have a character name (I don't suppose it's 'ice' for a human?) you may want to indicate it in your signature, or even better, if you re-register with the character name. It's easier for others to identify you in character that way.

The tact/sec course is located in the Deep Space Academy, which you can find by going to the SS Avalon board, then the Deep Space Academy forum, then the Deep Space Academy Sub Forum. The class is currently in the Holodeck, which should be marked as the 'Security Holodeck' or something to that effect. Your instructor is Captain Simon Rajnus.

Luke: Im sure you can dual role if you wish.  I think the Rivendell needs a security officer, Message Taurik.  He would know sense hes the Captain.

Mark: Much better, Helm is needed on the Lothlorien, Rivendell and the Evolution.

Terry: JAG isnt usually used.  So im not sure thats a viable position thats open.  Do you have a second position in mind?

Dont forget the marines are active too, not just starfleet.  Also youll all start out at the Rank of Ensign or Private if you go marines.

A, I see there are a lot of reactions. I love that attitude.

Mr. Matthews, accepted. You can report to Classroom 2 in the Academy Forum as soon as you're ready to start your training. I myself will be teaching you. There should also be another cadet in Classroom 2 who's also studying Engineering.

Cristopher Yates, you will be taught by my XO (Sam Fisher), and also by teachers Eastwood and Davis. You will be able to start taking classes in Classroom 2 aswell. So you're first subject will be Engineering.

Cadet Gorm, the tactical/security department is suitable for all species, including Lurians. You can report to Classroom 1 in the Academy Forum, where you will find your teacher (Oliver Davis) and two other cadets.

I wish you all good luck with your education and I hope (and am pretty sure) that you will become fine StarFleet Officers.

Well, you can go to the academy if you like, or you can forego that to jump right into the action, but with a lower rank. Graduated cadets get the rank of Ensign, NCO's get the rank of Crewman Recruit. However, both ranks will land you in the same position in this case.

if you would like it, we do not have an instructor for it now. As well as the Embassy having no actual positions open. It is not a fully active part of the fleet.
Your welcome to persue it, but setting aside admirality and title, I would not suggest it simply for the fact that it isn't always active.  There aren't always diplomatic needs in the missions.

Hmmmmm, Ok.  Theres 2 ways of doing this if thats the case.  Do an apprenticeship with a ship and I keep an eye on your progress for 4 RL weeks, OR go threw the academy and try to find a room for you to go too.  Because what I think your looking for is Operation training and im not sure if we have a classroom for that or not still.  Also if you want a round about education then youll need more then 4 weeks.

You report in here, then tell us what you wish to do ? what field you wish to go into ? and if you want to go threw the academy or not.  Once thats filled out with your name and such, that will tell us that we need to get off our butts and assign you where you want to go or try to find you a position if you wish to skip the academy.

I know Captain Rajnus thought about restarting the apprenticeship program for those who wish to jump into the missions being played.

Does this suffice as a adequate answer for you ?

Also if you wish to jump into the mission somewhere, youll start out at the rank of crewmen.  However, if you wish to do the apprenticeship program then youll have the rank of cadet 1-4 for four weeks (Real life time) then after that period youll gain a rank to ensign.

Ah, I had no idea you were already with character here. In that case...though it's your decision...the clear suggestion would be to dable in something your not in. Engineering perhaps? Science. Command is a beginning training, and you get credited for it on the 'record' system I have put anew in the DSA. But it will not carry any weight as far as you getting a command position right out of the academy, or even soon after. The simple fact is, there are just more veterans and interested commanding officers than opportunties now, and in the future. And so it should be. Keep on keeping on with the goal of command, and it will come if you go with distinction.

Let me know on your decided field, Captain Fred Lurado instructs Engineering, and has a class at this time, if you are interested.

I am a protoype holograpic officer sent from Starfleet Command to be field tested by Expansion Fleet, and I have been equipped with a prototype duplicate of a mobile emitter.
I have, however, had no programming or training to fully prepare me for service in Starfleet, so I have been sent directly to the Deep Space Academy for an all-round education.

Intel was shut down awhile ago.  All their is in Divisions is Marines and Avalon divisions.  Only surviving Intel officers are Simon Rajnus and Admiral Yates.

But right now we are trying to crew ships and the Marines before we get any more ships or divisions up and running.

As of now all ho wish to join the Marine Contingant, must got through the Dantor Starfleet Academy.

The Dantor Academy is specifically designed for marine training, as well as training for the new species, the Melmacians. I say its unique as the room are specially desinged for the Melmacians size.

So all who wish to be a marine are required to go through the marine training on Dantor first. And anyone who wish's to be a melmacian can report there also.

well you get train to be an Tatical Officer which include ship combat and secuity or you can go Enginering whuch you repair the ships and stations, and ther is Jag where you learn to be a Lawer and ther is Inel which speaks for it self and there is Command which trains you to be a Captian of a starship.

Admiral Ransom, also to make aware that Marine Cadet Jase Jellico is active, and had to wait since Early-Mid November 05 to now with nothing done for Marine Training in the DSA, if the instructor for Cadet West could also take Cadet Jellico ASAP. Why can't he use that name, Balkazar, especially if he comes up with a plausible reason for it? Perhaps he was a slave laborer in a camp as a child, who's only name was Unit 45633. or something like that? Besides there was a "Seven of Nine". If all else, just call him "Four".

We're currently in the process of removing the Deep Space Academy from our website. Ms. Tial, I can offer you a position now, all counseling positions onboard the fleet are available, so the ship is up to you. I would suggest taking on a standard medical role as well, since a pure counselor may become bored.

In any case, let me know what you choose.

Well, the policy here is that you have to go through the academy to receive ensign or higher. But, i do believe their is a chance that you could do an internship instead. Would that be to your suiting?

The position of Marine Intelligence is open for Dantor, but if you would rather have medical and still be associated to the Marines, you may want to join the Dantor Starfleet Contingent. They have a Medical CO who is an officer, as a Crewman you could be   a Medical Aid, to work your way up the enlisted ranks to be a medical chief. So those are your two choices from your two listed preferences.

The DSA is located in the SS Avalon board, then the Deep Space Academy board, then the Deep Space Academy sub board.

Undertaker, Recreate your character, using Mark Caloway is what I mean.

Luke, Hmmmmm, Counselars dont get alot of action or shrinking done.  You have a secondary position you would like to apply for ?.  We at EF dont want our players to get bored after 3 days of not posting or a week of not posting because they have nothing to post with and then they leave.  So being a shrink is one of THOSE positions IMO.  

You have a secondary position in mind ?
