"If you mean those little sissys that ran around with phasers that were here before yes i assume they all freaked when everything changed. And no need to welcome me back i never left."

Tucker smiled as he looked around

"So that Cruise twurp or whatever his name was sissyed out did he? Maybe he was afraid he'd get shot again."

"Mr. Tucker, you have an important duty. War may soon come, but if it can be prevented it will. There are meetings taking place between several Admirals, but as of yet no Marines are becoming involved, and so you will lead much of the military events to take place. You will be briefed and assigned to the USS Excalibur, which will soon head for an asteroid base, where you will then remain there with General Reed of the FSS, you will be joined by, I am told, his right hand man, who is Major Mark Jarret. Mr. Reed is leading the majority of this operation, so what I have told you now comes from the FSS HQ"

"I do not wish to leave the station. With what I am already aware of that is my last wish. The Excalibur will soon be there with you at lyonesse. The Excalibur is well capable of being a battleship if the need came, its size makes it a perfect flagship for a fleet and a fleet we must have. I will coordinate from this station through the Excalibur. Then there is always the chance nothing will happen"

"Ah General Reed, I understand. You have General Tucker when he arrives. His mind is fighting a battle every day i think. He will be an excellent strategist for you. I will see if i can find Captain Brodie and send the Venture-B with him, you can find people to man the vitals, or use it as a Command Center being a Galaxy Class Refit. Good Luck General."
