OFf: What about me damm it
"Very well. It is now 0500 hours. By the time we return from the restaurant, your desk should be completely set-up and ready for use."
*Vorak enters his office, and notices that the lights are on and that kha'Var is sitting down in one of the guest chairs.*
"Kha'Var. I see you have come without appointment once again."
"As you can hear for yourself, Vorlok is safely... not on the station? Hermes, what is the last known information regarding the whereabouts of Vorlok? Do you have any informations of his well-being?"
*enters*
sorry sir i was so late but i was assisting the USS Amsterdam's captin whit the loading of the suplies
"As far as we know, the Na'jigat does not operate in the way the Borg does, by 'infecting' people. They don't seem to use a form of assimilation, but rather simply 'swallow' everything they can get, drawing its energy out, whatever form of energy that might be. The problem is that they can perfectly hide themselves, shielding themselves from us in every way possible. People or species with a higher telepathic perspective are more likely to breach that invisibility, however."
*enters office and greets Vorak*
Good evening Admiral, long time no see
*KHa'Var walks into Vorak's office without heasitating and disregards the presence of the senior officers.*
"Vorak, I need to speak with you NOW!"
"If you'll be having me keeping account of your meetings and other activities, I'll need a handheld device that can store mass amounts of data in a calendar form."
OFF: Yeh well, you thought wrong. I"m on a ship with a nice captain and a suicidal droid thats out to kill me and now I the same ppl that abducted me and taking me to the delta alliance.

and you "assume" I"m ok? bah what kind of father are u ;p
welll then sir i thank you for your time i should head back for the embasy now
(Frankly the reason i asked for your assistance is in the matter is because it shouldn't have happend. I don't believe it was a misunderstanding. I aggreed to do it without being asked, the way i was pmed by lar's was in telling form that i would be picked up by the Amsterdam, no choice or asking if iwanted to was given, but i said i would do it. Recently i decided i would remain out of it because of just the way they went about it. And that was when Lars started getting sort of ill like towards the fact that i said i was remaining at Avalon, what i wanted you to verify is if he can order me to do it, being a Gamma CO and me an Avalon member. Not in the same division. What got me was how he thought i was doing wrong saying things like he would discuss it with you. Which i think was the entire wrong way to go about it when i told him he was wrong about it. since i had said i wanted to stay out of it end of story nothing more to it. things like this have hapend to me before as Madison, but it was of course at Nova were i could do something about it. Anyho we can talk later sorry to mention it here. )

*Incoming transmission*
Admiral this is Cadet Hodson on board the Lhasa and agent Davis has not responded to many of my post to him do you think that you could get him to (pardon my bluntness sir) get with the program so I can graduate and be posted on a ship sir?
"Thank you very much sir. I will get to work immediately."
*Salutes and leaves the office*
Ok I will grant you the rank of Lieutenant JG. Your Captain will be Captain Jeroen Bode
"Combadge... console... Very well, all noted, Ms. Love. However, I have not had the chance to speak much with you, and it would be most logical to do so due to the fact we will work together. Would a dinner at the Klingon Restaurant be suitable for you?"
*Vorak raises an eyebrow.*
"Medical department? Is he ill or injured?"
sir will ms love be joining us in that case i need to prepare another qauter for her
"It seems as though I have no choice in the matter."
*KHa'Var sits back down, grumbling about the wasted time.*
"So I may as well make myself comfortable, as I suspect that you will not permit my ship to leave dock until you are ready here. That and I am wise enough to know that I will have a higher success rate with those modifications."
*Vorak walks into his office.*
"Lights."
*The lights turn on and Vorak sits down behind his desk, activating his computer screen.*
"Computer, replay message."
*The message from Cortana resounds again. Then, after some silence, Vorak looks up.*
"Computer, what ships are currently at or near Avalon Station?"
Computer: "U.S.S. Excalibur, Nova Division starship."
"Very well. Contact the U.S.S. Excalibur."
*Vorak gives Kha'Var a serious look.*
"It was your choice to enter this meeting, and participate in it. So, you will abide to our rules as well."
*Then he turns to Dr. Nickerson.*
"Doctor, your reasoning is logical, but there is one problem. We do not know when the Loxian fleet will arrive, and the Rivendell may not have enough time to find the U.S.S. Evolution, and return here afterwards as well. Should the Loxian fleet arrive here during your absence, we will miss one part of the ship, which is at least equal in strength to the U.S.S. Evolution. Time does not allow us to do so."
OFF: the Evolution has another mission that needs to be carried out, and it'll take awhile. That's why
"Ahh, ambassador. It has been a long time, it is good to see you again. Please, do sit down."
*Vorak points at a chair, and then sits down behind his desk.*
"What I am about to say, is confidential at this point. This area of space has been repeatedly attacked by a species known as the Na'jigat. They are not humanoid species, but exist of a pure form of energy, more particularly mental energy. This enables them to appear to you in any form they choose, without the ability for us to realise it is them, or to know they are there at all. No thoughts in your mind are safe from them, and it goes far beyond just that. They feed on all forms of energy, and therefore have attacked various starships, stations and planets. Deep Space 12 was utterly destroyed, and Starphoenix Base barely survived. Their attacks are growing bolder and stronger, as each time they gather more energy. Our weapons have proven useless, phasers, torpedoes and regular shields only reinforce the Na'jigat rather than weakening it. The only help that appears to be effective, comes from a species called the Gallifreyans, and two of our officers that they have adopted as agents, being captain Taurik and ambassador Vurak. We have reason to believe that the next target of the Na'jigat is Avalon Station itself, and therefore we have decided to refortify ourselves as much as possible, and I can use all the help I can get."
Sir. I will gladly stay with Starfleet and take the positions of Chief Medical & Chief Counselor. I will report in immediately.
*Vorak just put away his last padd as he saw her enter.*
"Ah, very well. You are sooner than expected. We shall now beam over to the ship."
"I trust you choice is adequate. You know the station far better than I do."
*steps into the restaurant as the turbo lift opens*
OFF: continue in KR.
"Your response is quick and adequate indeed. It appears that... Q has brought me back here. Very well, it seems I have alot of administrative work to do anyway."
"We may not have the time to wait for reinforcements any more. It would also mean giving up our advantage of surprise, especially if the Loxians find a way to monitor our subspace communications, or break their security codes."
*Love enters carrying several PADD's; setting them down on the desk, she takes a seat and begins transferring the data from the padds to the main console. She's interupted several times through this process by people calling. She schedules many meetings for him after he is to return to the station. Hours pass as she continues to work. She completes filing the data and exits the office, locking it behind her and slowly walking to the turbo lift.*
"Quarter Levels, Please."
*She exits the turbo lift to her room, and almost immediately collapses onto her bed.*
*At that moment a chime could be heared from outside the room. Heford had finally arrived and hoped he wasn't too late*
"Why do I always arrive late on these occasions?" *he whispered to himself*
*Considers carefully before replying*
Has anyone under your command yet been affected?
Also, more precisly, species with the help of mental discipline....are they more or less susceptible to the Na'jigat?
You can be the Chief Medical and Chief Counselor on the Lothlorien. You can either be Starfleet or Marines. Its up to you. Oh and I will up your rank once for you.
"We will likely retrieve Vorlok easier and faster, if we keep control over our emotions and handle the situation logically. It is also illogical to assume that Vorlok was indeed kidnapped. All options must be considered, including the ones we do not think of. Follow me to the Promenade, please."
*Vorak leaves his office, followed by Kha'Var. They both enter the turbolift and head for the Promenade.*
OFF: continues in Enoch's Camelot Medieval Store.
*Love peers around the room, considering each possible location. She stands in a spot, not far from his desk,*
"Here would seem best fit for this room...Do you concur?"
=^= Vorak to Kha'Var. Understood, and... good luck. Vorak out =^=
*Montrell enters the office and nods to all officers present*
"Goodday Admiral. Urgent news I suppose?"
(This is the first time someone got upset over it with me. More so i am upset with him. The way he apprached it by trating me as if i were under his personal command is offensive. And not something seen often from someone of his status. I hope he can work to overlook his troubles and compromise. As remember, i volunteered. I would have had no obligations to stay. 'walking out' is to harsh a term though. Believe me, i didn't plan his reaction when i left. at the time i 'walked out' as you call it. It was when i awaited 3 days for response. I thought they had gone on anyway. So i made other mission plans with other people. Purphaps that explains the situation better. Again, sorry to drag it out but i like to cover everything. All i know is Gamma won't be my first choice to work with. To many problems and no thinking. Sort of like saying lets do a joint mission and the next day coming and picking who they want and saying get over here we're picking you up.)
*Vorak raises an eyebrow.*
"Indeed, neither have I."
"Most unusual. Thank you, Hermes."
*Then he turns back to Kha'Var.*
"I believe the most logical course of action is to investigate the Camelot Medieval Store and find the owner. Maybe we can begin finding answers this way, and determine the current whereabouts of Vorlok."
Very well Admiral...with your permission I will go speak with the Chief Medical Officer on the station.
*Love enters behind the Admiral, gazing around at numerous people working at consoles. She nods politely to all that turn to see her.*
OFF: i did say "Tonight at 0700" hours lol!
"Mr. Montrell, any information regarding the strength of the Loxian fleet, will only be gathered when Ms. Kha'Var takes her cloaked ship toward the position of their ships, and transmit any relevant information to us. Therefore, we should delay no further. I believe you all know what you have to do. Contact any ships you believe may be in time, but use secure channels only. If there are no other questions?"
(well said)
"Aye, I'll meet with Mr. Detrell after the meeting, i assume he knows the scematics better than i. Somewere in the heart of the station to avoid any hull openings if we loose shields."
Gordon picks up a padd.
"I see, sir. Like I said, I'm no tactician."
(OFF: You said 'part of your ship', but it's not Nickerson's ship, it's Taurik's.)
OFF: Just don't let it turn out that I will be the one that needs to tell here where this brat is! Last time me and Jarron almost choked, so I will pass that order :P.

"Cadet Love, reporting for any department you wish to assign. Admiral, I recently withdrew from the academy; if I might say so, it was rather too slow paced for my taste, I was bored and unchallenged. I don't see it logical to attend classes to attain information you already have aquired. I'd request you give me a transfer so that I may work as a regular ensign or any other rank you feel appropriate."

"Greetings, Ms. Love. Please be seated."
*He takes a padd and studies it for some silent moments, as it displays the biography of the cadet before him.*
"Hmm. Very well. As you know, since you did not complete your Starfleet Academy training, I cannot assign you a rank and permanent station as Starfleet Officer. However, if you agree, I do need a personal assistant to aid me in my administrative work here on the station."

*Love maintains a collective face as he makes this amazing offer.*
"Thank you, Admiral. I can assure you that your decision was a beneficial one on your part. I'm quite confident that my services, even as a personal secretary, will aid you greatly."
"Thank you, Mr. Strider. I appreciate your assistance in this matter. Soon I will undertake a journey of my own, hoping to gain more allies against the upcoming battle of the Na'jigat."
To Hodson:
A teacher has reported in the academy, ready to teach.
To Wil Riker:
Please check in the Intel division and request the position from the Division CO.
Thanks.
Please report to the Admiral's Welcome Desk (forum on main board page) to receive your next assignment.
"Very well, since there are no more questions... Dismissed, everyone. Begin preparations as agreed."
(OFF: Well, we await your return, Taryn. Good luck with the job.)
OFF: I would like a status report of the Station's activities of the past month and current situation, asap. Vorak is not back on the station yet, in the storyline. But things here NEED to get organised ASAP!
*KHa'Var crosses her arms.*
"What could possibly be more important than speaking with your wife? I will not leave until I have spoken with you, and you should know that calling security to remove me would do more harm than good. You know my abilities as a warrior, however that was 8 years ago. My skills are at a higher level, and you have not had the opportunity to see the extent of my prowess."
*walks in and puts a letter on the admirals desk whit info about the crew exhance*

*Sanchez takes the liberty of stepping inside the office.*
"You could say it is urgent, yes. But you're busy so I won't take much of your time, and I'll try to be as brief as possible."
*Sanchez takes a deep breath.*
"Civil war broke out on Loxius. The repressing government appears to be winning, and some of our contact people of the Loxians on Vontak Nor, and among them Zayan, has been captured and is scheduled for execution. If the Loxian government manages to defeat the Loxian Exiles, they may become a threat to the presence of Starfleet in this sector."
Cmdr Hodson walks in to the office and goes to attention
"Sir, Sorry that I have been gone for so long I have been on a speacal assingment permission to come back aboard?
*Vorak watches everyone leave the office. Then he turns to the computer panel.*
"Computer, display all other ships currently within the sector."
*The computer shows three dots on the stellar map: the U.S.S. Venture, the U.S.S. Tiberon and the U.S.S. Ares.*
"Computer, establish a secure link with all three ships."
Computer: "Channel open."
=^= Avalon Station to U.S.S. Venture, U.S.S. Tiberon and U.S.S. Ares =^=
This is a secure channel. We believe that we may soon be under attack from a large fleet of the Loxian Government. We will require your assistance to limit damage and casualties to a minimum. Please set immediate course to Avalon Station, near the Expansion Nebula.
=^= Vorak out =^=
Off: I"ll just smile sweetly and blame u. YOu left me alone

to wander around (even when she told you not to) so I"m out here coz of you.
"One is glad to be of service, admiral."
*Vorak raises an eyebrow.*
"You... sent the U.S.S. Evolution away, back to where the ship just returned from, to transport a Loxian captive there?"
*Vorak frowns.*
"The Dark Passage is a region known to interfere with sensors and subspace communications. It is unlikely that we will be able to reach them now. Maybe the Loxian captive will be safer there anyway. After all, the Loxian exiles have more right to the Loxian prisoners than we do."
*Then he turns to Detrell.*
"Mr. Detrell, what suggestions do you have to improve the tactical advantage of the station? Shield and weapon upgrades, perhaps?"
*walks in and sees the admiral*
sir your transport is here

and sir i also habe my orders to take along a ambasador to help us out whit the dlta allience
*incoming transmission*
Commander this is Cadet Hodson,I'm not doing intel I'm doing Command training on the Lhasa and Mr. Davis said he would train me but now he wont post and I would be thankful for any assistance you could give. I'm also in command of the Lhasa for the moment as soon as we get back to the station I will have you transported aboard. Thank you sir. Hodson out.
*Vorak raises an eyebrow.*
"Mr. Sanchez. I do not recall us having a meeting appointment, and I am expecting admiral Montrell for a briefing any moment. Is it urgent?"
OFF: The thing with Morrow happend earlier...Hermes will post in a few days...stating that Morrow will be needed in the Engineering department and also tells Hedford that he needs to go to Admiral Vorak. I didn't want to cancel our "talk"/"drink" immediately, so I thought why don't we "act" as if it happend earlier.
"Well, I assume that the evacuation procedures and shutting down those empty decks, will take some time, but recalibrating the sensors will, with Mr. Hedford's help, be done in less than an hour. I suggest Ms. Kha'Var's ship does not leave until we have completed the recalibration, so we can send the sensor modification sequences to her ship first."
*Montrell stands up and walks towards Captain Skon, Taurik and Commander Rasmain*
"Gentlemen, please return to your ships and inform your crew of the situation. Don't give them all details but let them know what we are up against. Then prepare your ship and let me know if you need something, from supplies or engineering personel. The preparation of your ships is a top priority and they need to be in a top condition to fight these Loxians." *Montrell stops for a moment*
"That was all gentlemen, more instructions will follow. Good luck to you all!"
*Vorak glances at Kha'Var, and then turns to the rest of the officers present in his ready room.*
"I believe not all of you have met my... wife, yet. This is Kha'Var."
*Then he gets up and walks toward a wall screen, and activating it, it displays a star chart.*
"This is the location of Avalon Station, where we are now. The location here, however, near the exit of the Dark Passage, is the Loxian homeworld, called Loxius, approximately 130 light years from here. Recently, I have been informed that, when a Loxian Government spy was on board the U.S.S. Skytoucher, he placed a secret tracking device into the ship's systems. This device was triggered again, during the capture of the ship. It was discovered that this device has intelligent programming, enabled to find out if its operator is Loxian or not. More so, it is designed with the purpose to get control over all systems of a ship, and send transmissions to the Loxian homeworld, without any sensors detecting these subspace signals. This is exactly what happened, and we may likely assume that the Loxian homeworld is aware that their Loxian spy is in this vicinity. Over the past year, we have captured three Loxian Government operatives. A year ago we took Kowan into costudy, who is still in our brigs here on the station, and more recently we captured Vakin and Varnek. Although none of them have had a chance to speak with one another, all three have told the same story during their interrogations... They claim that the Loxian Government will come for them. Not to rescue them, but to kill them... as to wipe out evidence of the government's barbaric and illegal activities, and silence any witnesses who may be able to leak any information to outsiders. I believe it is wise to take these statements seriously."
*He taps a button on the wall panel, and a picture of Vontak Nor appears, and next to it the U.S.S. Skytoucher in a bad shape. In the background, several alien ships are surrounding both the Skytoucher and the station, firing weapons at both... The sounds from inside the Skytoucher's bridge can be heard...*
Rasmain: "Those fighters are on our tail, sir. Or at least a part of the group..."
*The Skytoucher is under heavy fire. Because of the heavy fire, several consoles blow up and fires begin to appear. Rhade, at the tactical station, falls back and hits his head. He slumps to the deck. Skon looks over at Rhade and sees that his tactical officer is injured.*
Skon: "Evasive manoeuvres. Get us out of the thick of the fight and be prepared to turn and attack. Mr. Nofftz, take the tactical station. Fire a spread of torpedoes at those Loxian fighters and then calculate an attack pattern we can use as soon as we get some room to manoeuvre. Mr. Lupin, transfer all available power to the shields. Get a damage control team up here to help put out these fires, and give me an updated damage report."
*The skytoucher shakes.*
Jesse Nofftz: "Aye aye, sir. Firing torpedoes."
*The bridge takes a direct hit and sparks fly.*
"Phasers have been disabled all we have is torpedoes. We just lost port shields."
*Skon's knuckles turn white as he grips the edges of his seat to keep from falling out. The Skytoucher shakes again, and the ship begins to list to one side. Damage reports begin to come in. Fires on decks 14 and 15. Damage to the port nacelle. Power outages on decks throughout the ship. Nearly no part of the ship is completely undamaged...*
Skon: "Continue firing, Mr. Nofftz. Mr. Rasmain, now would be a good time to get us farther away from here. Since we no longer have port shields, I suggest a course that keeps our port side as safe as possible. Mr. Lupin, divert all non-essential power to the shields."
Jesse Nofftz: "Firing torpedoes."
*The ship shakes, sparks fly from my post I fall to the ground. I get back up.*
Jesse Nofftz: "I am alright, sir. Starboard shields at 9%. One more hit and they will collapse."
Skon: "More reports come in. A hull breach in deck 8, plasma conduits erupting in engineering. Crewmen trapped on deck 17. Mr. Rasmain, emergency manoeuvres. Plot a course into the anomaly and hold it until we can tell whether the Loxians are willing to follow us. Mr. Nofftz, It's good that you aren't hurt. Continue firing as long as you can. Mr. Lupin, get a damage control team to deck 17 and free those trapped crewmen."
Tom Lupin: "Power diverted to shields, commander!"
*The ship is hit again and the bridge shakes, and sparks fly from all posts.*
"Sir, starboard shields are down. We can't take much more of this. Firing torpedoes in dispersal pattern sierra. One enemy target hit, sir."*Vorak hits a button and ends the replay of the events.*
"I believe that this recording clearly shows that an assault by the Loxian Government is to be taken serious. They entered the Dark Passage with a fleet of over 20 ships, and a squadron of fighters, plus a hidden backup fleet, with only one purpose: to retrieve their spy. It is logical to assume that we should be prepared for no less, this time. Although the station's defences are far superior to those of a starship, we may still be extremely vulnerable to such an attack."
*He taps another button. The image of the Dark Passage disappears, and the star chart reappears.*
"If the Loxian fleet were to depart from their homeworld today, and head straight for our coordinates at warp 9.9, they will be here in 14 days. Though it is unlikely that they will be able travel the entire distance at maximum warp, we do not know if they have already departed, or not. They may already be on their way for several days. We can only be prepared for an attack at any given time possible. Therefore, we must spend our remaining time well, preparing the station's defences."
*He turns to Detrell.*
"Mr. Detrell, I want all weapons and defence systems at peak efficiency.
*Then he turns to Montrell.*
"I believe that the U.S.S. Skytoucher and U.S.S. Rivendell are on their way to the station again. They must commence emergency repairs, and then prepare for battle, to help defend the station when the Loxian fleet arrives. Also, I believe that U.S.S. Evolution is docked to the station still, and can assist, am I right?"
OFF: Montrell: Vorak doesn't know that you sent the Evolution back to Vontak Nor, with Varnek. You're going to have to tell him that now :P
*Then he turns to Janeway and Embries.*
"I believe your tasks are clear. Scan this sector, and all neighbouring sectors for as far as sensors reach, for any unusual activity. If we can detect the arrival of the Loxian fleet well in advance, it may help us gain some tactical advantage. Mr. Embries, perhaps you could discover what we should refine our sensors to scan for, in order to pick up Loxian vessels more easily. Ms. Janeway, I will need you at the tactical station in ops, when the battle begins."
*Then he turns to Dr. Nickerson.*
"I believe I do not need to tell you to keep sickbay ready for wounded. If the Loxians attack in force, it is unlikely that we can make it through without any casualties."
*Then at last, he turns to ambassador Gordon.*
"Until the fleet arrives, ambassador, I want you to concentrate your time on the civilians of this station. They must be relocated to the safest areas possible, on the station. When the Loxian fleet arrives, we may have use of your diplomatic skills, to avoid weapons fire."
*For a moment, Vorak hesitates, and then turns to Kha'Var.*
"I understand your ship is still docked to the station. If the Loxian fleet arrives, we will need all help possible. If you still want to show your warrior skills then, you will be most welcome."
*Then he sits back down in his seat.*
"Questions, anyone? Or suggestions, perhaps?"
*Just when the door opens when Reynolds leaves, Sanchez arrives and steps into the doorway.*
"Admiral, is this a bad time?"
"Indeed. Therefore, we will require every commissioned ship to tow the station with tractor beams, and use the internal power engines of the station simultaneously. It will be a slow and delicate task, but one that needs to be done."
"What crucial decision do you refer..."
*Vorak notices that Tyn has disappeared.*
"Computer, has the other humanoid used a transporter to beam out."
Computer: "Negative."
*Vorak frowns.*
"Fascinating... a Q."
*Vorak takes a padd, makes note of the exact time and place of the Q encounter, and then leaves his office to go to ops.*
OFF: the Loxian battle story will now continue in ops and other forums.
"A perfect idea! They won't know what's happening to them, and we will have the element of surprise at our side!"
*He takes a padd and taps some buttons.*
"Hmmm... ah, here it is. From the sensor reports of the U.S.S. Skytoucher during its encounter with the Loxian Government fleet, I can conclude that they appear to use koranium, which is also a subspace element used in Klingon warp drives. However, this particular element is not a regular koranium element. The Loxians apparently use soliton koranium, a rare combination but effective. Soliton is known, basically, to consist energy that does not diminish, and is capable of generating subspace fields allowing vessels to travel at warp speed with low energy consumption."
*He puts his padd aside and turns to admiral Vorak and Kha'Var.*
"I believe I can recalibrate the station's sensors to increase their sensitivity scans particularly for soliton koranium. That way we should be able to track them far more efficiently and easier. We may even be able to determine from the soliton koranium emissions, how large their fleet more or less is. Ms. Kha'Var, I could also transmit the scanner modification sequences to your ship as well, so you can benefit from this advantage too."
*Just as Vorak is about to answer KHa'Var, she sees an officer standing outside the door. She thinks 'not another interuption!'.*
"Thoron."
*Everyone goes silent as Vorak suddenly speaks up. He frowns and stands up, walking back to the wall panel, pushing some buttons. The station's schematics appear again. He turns back to the people in his office.*
"Ms. Janeway, the A.S.C. Revox is likely to be even further away then the U.S.S. Evolution. Their last known course was back to Delta Alliance space. Even if our hail would reach them in a short time, it would take them too long to get here. Most ships, in fact, are too far out of the sector to be of help in time. Therefore, we need the element of surprise."
*Then, he turns to Embries.*
"Mr. Embries, could we produce a thoron field?"
"Thank you sir. That is all I needed to ask. Have a nice day"
*Reynolds leaves Vorak's Office*
"Indeed admiral, that would be a perfect solution. It's closer to the Delta Alliance, and we already have a base there. Dantor could also be explored, more then it has been now. Especially the things that have happend before, maybe there are more things we can learn of the civilazation that encountered the Na'jigat decades ago."
*Then Montrell stops*
"But it's not that this station can be moved that easily..."
"The last known location of Vorlok was in the store named 'Camelot Medieval Store'. A transporter beam was then detected at his location, but no information is available as to where he may have been beamed."
*Vorak suddenly stands up.*
"Kha'Var, this is not the time nor place to... brag with your warrior talents. This is a crisis situation, as it is very likely that an entire fleet of Loxian Government ships is on its way here to attack the station in force. Is that reason enough?"
*Vorak takes a deep breath and sits down again.*
"Ofcourse Admiral"
*Montrell stands up and walks to the wall screen. He touches it and Station Avalon appears*
"I think you know what threat will await us. A few hours ago Captain Skon informed us about a Loxian device aboard the USS Skytoucher, which transmitted the exact location of the Skytoucher, to which seems to be the Loxian homeworld. We now assume that they will launch an attack on our station to liberate their spies and destroy us the "Federation" once and for all."
*Montrell stops for a moment and then continues*
"But we have an advantage. We know that they will be coming and we will also be prepared! The station will be prepared and upgraded. Shields will be stronger and weapons efficiency will be tested. All non-starfleet personel will be evacuated to other parts of the station and decks like the promonade will be closed to gain power for our upgrades.
There will also be a thoronfield around the station preventing the possibility of scans from the Loxian starships." *Montrell was quickly showing all relevant data on the wallscreen*
"That's what has been decided until this moment. We have not yet come up with a real idea for the starships that are present at the station. But I've heared about hiding in the nebula?" *Montrell looks at Admiral Vorak*
* Incoming transmission*
Admiral this is Cadet Hodson on the Lhasa I have taken her to starbase 12 to finish my training and will return soon after I'am done. Lhasa out
"I am not yet fully updated on the station's current status since my recent return, but to my knowledge there are no scheduled guests to arrive. The embassy may possible have a more updated list, although Ambassador Gordon just recently left to the Delta Alliance, so I am uncertain if anyone is present in the Embassy at this time."
*Vice Admiral Julian Walks into the Falg Admirals office and makes himself at home while waiting for him to return*
OFF: That went fast. lol.
*Vorak enters his office to shut everything down, before he departs, sees Rajnus, gets the injection and thanks him. Then he leaves the office again shortly after Rajnus, and heads for Kha'Var's ship.*
OFF: continued from The arrival of Kha'Var.
*Once the doors close behind them she lets him have it.:angry4:*
"So mighty flag admiral Vorak. Are you going to give me answers? Or will you try to sooth my rage with your 'logic' ? I will warn you, it would be wise to give me answers. I am not in the mood for diplomatic tricks. I know them just as well as you do, so don't even try! As you can see you have taught me well, otherwise by now you would not have had much of a station left."
*KHa'Var notices that Vorak was waiting for her to stop speaking, as he found out years ago. Wanting to hear what he was going to say she stops talking, and waits to receive the answers she needs.*
*Vorak turns around, and sees someone still sitting at the desk in his office, a face he doesn't recognise.*
"I do not recall seeing you before, or asking you to join my staff meeting. Identify yourself."
=^= Acknowledged=^=
*Reynolds steps into Voraks office, still stood*
"Sir, I am an apprentice of Captain Lurado. I am currently in my final phase of training to become this stations security XO. I have just come to enquire whether or not there will be any more guests, or conferences? As part of my final phase of training, I am to make the station secure should there be any more VIP's coming to the station."
*Vorak and Montrell were discussing the technical aspects of the plan to move Avalon Station to Dantor, when suddenly an alarm goes off. Vorak looks up.*
"Something is out of the ordinary. Let us go check ops."
*Vorak and Montrell leave for ops.*
OFF: Continues in topic "fire alert" in the ops forum.
"Where do you wish the desk to be placed in my office? The room is quite large enough."
"Major Embries, chief science officer, reporting for duty, admiral."
*He takes a seat at the desk.*
OFF: this takes place shortly after Vorak is informed that a Loxian Government fleet may be about to attack (Arrival of Kha'Var topic).
*Vorak enters his office.*
"Computer, lights."
*The lights in the room go on, and Vorak sits down behind his desk, awaiting the arrival of his senior officers.*
"Ambassador Gordon Embassy CO here for the meeting"
"Who I am is irrelevant. We've larger matters to discuss...It would seem life has been good to you: a family, a much desired job in Starfleet....a beautiful woman that secretly loves you...Now, as often as I am reminded that action has reaction, I cannot help but intervine in matters that seem unfair...So to give myself ease of mind, I'll not aid you...entirely...hear you this: You will be given a crucial decision in the near future. I tell you now, at that moment, defy logic and act on intuition. May the tides be in your favor, Admiral."
*She rises slowly and disappears.*
"A commbadge to keep in communication with you and others is all that I'll need besides the console I'd actually use in the office."
OFF: how is Vorak to know all that anyway? He was responsible for the survival of thousands of lives and you worry about a Droid out to kill you :-P
*KHa'Var was about to answer when the communication from Montrell came in. She waited untill the message was finished to respond to Vorak.*
"I just wanted to check up on how things are going between you and Vorlok. I trust you kept him safe during the battle."
*KHa'Var looks around.*
"You did keep him with you, now didn't you?"
OFF: I'm sorry, I'm so far behind from my computer not working, I don't know exactly what we're doing here. Please, tell me what's been going on and I'll gladly try to post, but sadly not as often because It'd have to be from school on my lunch break! Sorry lotz!
Off: I think were wating for u.
The cadet made his way to the office of the admiral to find people there already.
"Sir, I am looking for Flag Admiral Vorak or Fleet Admiral Montrell, are either of them here? I am here as Liason to Admiral Fisher, he sent me to find one of the commanding officers of the fleet"
*Vorak turns to the ambassador.*
"You have been rather quiet during this conversation. Is there anything you would like to say?"
*After an abscence of a few months, Fleet Captain Archer enters the Flag Admiral's office. He looks around and sees the admiral sitting behind his desk.*
*salutes admiral*
'Good day Admiral, how are you doing? I have been away for a few months, but now I think it is time for me again to return to duty and serve Expansion Fleet again. During my time off I began to realize that I've always loved being here, leading the Deep Space Academy. I also think I did quite a good job during my time of commanding the academy. I think it is in both the fleet's as in my best interest if I'd return to the academy to lead the noble institution that trains our future starship captains, engineers and doctors. I hope you will consider my proposal and get back to me as soon as possible."
OFF: I indeed was preoccupied for the last several months, but now I have time again to post several days a week, probably even every day, I think I can be more efficient and stay for a longer period of time.
"I'm keeping an open mind. The obvious plan would be to learn every tidbit of information we can before making a decision. If possible i would like to travel with Mr. Comm One to the DA Capital and meet with the Queen personally and also with the Romulans. Purphaps get a better insight. My knowledge of the Heraan and Na'jigat is limited i will admit."
=A= Montrell to Admiral Vorak =A=
"Understood Sir, I'll be there in a couple of minutes"
=A= Montrell out =A=
OFF: First it's your turn Reynolds
*KHa'Var lifts an eyebrow questioningly before sarcastically mocking Vorak.*
"Vorlok is safely not on the station. I would not call that safe! YOU let our ONLY son be KIDNAPED right from under YOUR OWN NOSE?! Let me know when you have found the owner of that shop, I believe his name was Enoch. I wish to interrogate him and find out where he took our son, before I decide to disembowel him with my bare hands!!!"
*She clenches her hands while envisioning the event, drawing blood from both palms. Vorak can see the rage in her eyes and the blood dripping in small rivulets to the floor of his office.*
"Hmm... not a bad idea. Thoron particles are indeed known to block sensor scanners. A secret Romulan trilithium research base once used thoron to form sensor blocking tiles, to keep their base from being detected. But tachyon scans, however, will likely be able to penetrate them still. And in that case, the Loxians would still be able to scan our tactical situation."
*Vorak frowns.*
"I see. We shall find him there then. Thank you, Hermes."
OFF: from Vorak's point of view, you are safe and not lost at all. Wait until your mother faces you when she has to track you down after you've been up to mischief again :-P
*KHa'Var raises her voice.*
"You ASSUME he is WELL! Is THAT your way of telling me YOU don't KNOW WHERE our SON IS? YOU LOST HIM, YOU FIND HIM NOW! AND I BETTER SEE VORLOK IS WELL OR I WILL HAVE SOMEONE'S HEAD!!!!!"
"Ms. Kha'Var, I fail to see the logic behind your... reasoning. As you clearly can see, I am in charge of this entire station, and the entire fleet attached to it. This task has kept me extremely busy for over two years. Do keep in mind that while you were stationed in a safe region of space, near Vulcan, I have spent time in a region of space that is not only deemed most risky and dangerous, but also fairly unknown still. You have also failed to notify me of the fact that apparently, you became pregnant and gave birth to my son. I hope you remember that I have risked much on my own behalf at the Vulcan High Council, in order to pursue our marriage. Yet, you fail to notify me of the birth of our son. I hoped that your permanent stationed position at Vulcan would have aided you in learning Vulcan logic and... controlling your temper. I see now that it was illogical of me to hope or assume that."
*Montrell turns to Admiral Vorak*
"Is there any more information about the Loxian strength? Maybe we can analyse their attack-patterns during the Vontak Nor battle and come up with a defensive plan for it?"
verry well sir shall i bring hte station to yellow allert and begin evacuating civilian personel
"Very well. I will join you there shortly."
*Vorak gets up, puts his paperwork aside, and walks toward the door.*
"Computer, lights off."
*The lights turn off and Vorak walks out.*
OFF: continues in Embassy - Delta Alliance meeting
"Most agreeable, I have nothing else scheduled for the night."
*Sisko makes his way down the corridor to the Admiral's office with a padd in his hand, and finds people there. He turns to Admiral Montrell.*
Admiral,
Here is my letter of transfer as Chief of Operations of Avalon Station, to Commanding officer of Windsor Division's new space station. I will be departing immediatley.
"Admiral, I highly repect your logic in this matter. Your enlightenment is even more greater thenmine and I am honored to be here speaking with you. Its not that often a droid speaks witha nother organic lifeformwith a logic that is as pure as a droids. I will deliver your response to the High Queen immediatly. I shall return in approximatly fife-teen point seven minutes with the queens reply. I trust youy both will use this time to discuss amoungst your-selve about the situation. I shall return."
*Comm One exits the room and contacts the Round council and the Queen*
*comm One enters the room again.*
"I have spoken with the Queen and she agrees fully with Admiral Vorak. She has asked to come to this station to speak with Admiral Vorak and Ambassador Gordon in person. If that is acceptable for oyu that is?"
"Very well. Thank you, Mr. Comm One and Mr. Gordon, for bringing this to my attention. Do keep me informed about how the negotiations proceed."
=^= Vorak to Montrell =^=
I have arrived in my office only recently and have not yet been able to read the report yet. If you would like to inform me of a full status report yourself, please come to my office now.
=^= Vorak out =^=
*Then the door opens, and Vorak sees Reynolds waiting outside the office, while Comm One and Frank Gordon leave the office.*
"Please come in."
*after waiting for about an hour or two, the admiral wonders if Flag Admiral Vorak is ever going to appear..*
You always very a very busy Vulcan..
*leave the office and goes in search for Admiral Vorak*
"Well first of all, to have any upgrades to the system you will have to evacuated the civilians from the habitat area and ofcourse the promonade. When these systems are overloaded and they will, then there is a certain possibility of huge explosion in these areas."
*Detrell stands up and walks to the wall screen, he touches it and it displays Station Avalon*
"Our shield generators are located here, here and here *Detrell shows three places on Station Avalon*. All these generators are in perfect shape and can be given an overload of 25%, which will provide us with additional shieldstrength. We can also modulate the shields to choose a random frequency every 10 minutes so the Loxians will not be able to penetrate it. You never know which trick they are able to use this time"
*Detrell stops and quickly continues*
"For our weapons, I can give them more strength but that means that we will have to shut down several non-essential systems. For example we can shut down life-support on several decks, after we have evacuated all personel.
There are more non-essential systems that will automatically be shut down, so we will have enough power to strengthen our shields but weapon-enhancements ask us to shut down more."
OFF: this takes place after the Klingon Restaurant dinner.
*Vorak enters his office and gathers together some padds.*
"Computer, any new messages?"
Computer: "One probe has dropped out of warp and is broadcasting the following message. The message has not yet been noticed in Ops."
=A= Skytoucher to Avalon =A=
We are under attack by a superior Loxian force. Shields are barely holding. Conditions in the Dark Passage make communications impossible. Romulans are assisting, but even so, we shall not likely last until reinforcements arrive. But you should be warned that the Loxians can no longer be considered "friendly."
Live long and prosper.
=A= Skytoucher out. =A=
off: sorry for that
no sir
Flag Admiral, are you here sir?
I have a burning question:
Why isn't anyone answerring my questions?
I've posted a few messages in the Starfleet Admiral's Office and also in Deep Space Academy. If you could just have a look in the Starfleet Admiral's Office and answer my questions I will be very pleased.
OFF: I just wanted to stop in and let everyone know I was alive. (this is Love, by the way). I'll be back this summer for sure, possibly spring break as well if I don't get the job at Disneyland. *shrugs* I'll check in again in a couple of days if you choose to acknowledge this.
*kiss* Taryn.
Off: *Gasp*. I can't wait till u tell mother u lost me.
"Precisely on time, Yes, let's go."
*She presses a panel next to the turbo lifts and enters, waiting for the Admiral before engaging it.*
"Vorlok is not aboard Avalon Station or anywhere within sensor reach, admiral Vorak."
*runs in*
ohh sir its you the station ccomputer register an onautherized transport so i cna here asp
"Your message has been received but Admiral Vorak is currently not in residence in his office to respond to your request himself. However, I will relay the message to him immediately to inform him."
"Very well, Ms. Love. You may report to sickbay at any time."
(OFF: As far as I know, the only character of yours who has seen any action while is Akasayuniashirakomas. She's heavily involved in a mission at the remnants of Starphoenix Base. You'd have to ask Vorak or someone else involved in that mission for the details, since I've not kept up on it. Good to have you back
)
*Upon seeing the ambassador get up, Raynolds hits the Admiral's Office's chime.*
*Montrell was still a bit confused of the situation he had just witnessed. But the admiral did not seem to be in the mood for any comment on the matter, although Montrell could hardly resist. He sat down and began immediately, so he would forget the previous matter*
"Admiral, first of all i'm glad you have returned in one peace. And also glad that you could return to an intact and whole station. It has been hell around here and must say that after all repairs, the crew really deserve their days off on leave"
*Montrell grabs one of the padds which he was carrying with him*
"I think you have seen the damage that has been done to the station. Repairs are going rapidly, much thanks to the help of the DA, but there are critical areas that are still in need of repairs. Two days ago it was lifesupport, and now it seems "power management" is our problem. Admiral Detrell ensured me that he had control over the situation and I trust his judgement. He also ensured me that with the help of the DA, we will have this station up and running within two weeks."
*Montrell coughs and then continous*
"Now the Fleet. I don't have much pleasant news about the ships that participated in the battle around Avalon. From our own division, we lost the Skytoucher and ofcourse the Evolution. The wreckage of the Skytoucher, as you might have seen, has been transported into the hangar for further examination and storage. All dead bodies have been accounted for and will be sent to Earth as soon as possible. All survivors, although there weren't that much, have been relocated onto the Rivendell or Avalon itsself."
*Montrell lays down the padd and looks at the Admiral*
"Those are the hard facts Admiral, if any of our enemies in this Sector would launch an attack, we will be sitting ducks. We have lost the strategic advantage of this nebula as technology has been upgraded during the last few years and secondly we have lost many ships. We need to discuss "options" Admiral, about our defences here in this system. With enemies such as the Na'jigat, we will never stand a chance out here. We are to far away from our allies, we need to regroup and make our position in this quadrant strong again!"
"Meeting with the High Queen is certainly a good idea. But I shall leave the decision up to Ambassador Gordon, whether he would like the High Queen to visit us here, or travel to the Delta Alliance and meet her there."
"Welcome back, Mr. Archer, and you are hereby reinstated to your position in the Deep Space Academy."
*Looks at Montrell.*
"Would the edge of the nebula be close enough for you? I assume the nebula would interfere with the Loxian sensors, but you could still be able to see what is going on and could receive transmissions. Do you have no faith in the abilities of your fighting comrades? I would not be caught dead, to be late for such an event! I could also send the tactical information of their ships ahead, by disguising the transmission or send it from in front of their own fleet. To prevent them from intercepting the transmission of vital information."
*KHa'Var sits back down with a smile, while her proposed attack plan is being discussed by the station's senior staff members. She listens avidly to additional suggestions.*
OFF: hmm....then you're suggesting that this station basically runs on an opposite clock? 0700 would actually mean 7pm at night?
wanna stay here and argue til we go to the restaurant? hehe.
=^= Vorak to Ops =^=
Please acknowledge the incoming distress call of the U.S.S. Skytoucher at once.
=^= Vorak out =^=
"Indeed, if the Loxians do decide to continue, they will undoubtedly bolster their numbers before attacking. Hovever, even if they do not, our chances of coming out of the conflict without losing most, if not all, of the ships defending the station, and possiblly the station itself, are slim. And there is nothing stopping the Loxians from sending their reinforcements anyway. We need the assistance of other divisions. Should the Tiberon, Ares from Omega Division, and the Excalibur and Alamo from Nova Division, join our fleet, they could feasibly turn the odds in our favor."
"Indeed. Most practical. I will put it on the list. Anything else?"
*He pushes some buttons on his padd to add it to the list.*
"Understood Sir"
*Hedford gets up and follows Embries out of the office*
"I am quite certain that Vorlok is well, on the station. I shall prove so by locating him through Hermes. Hermes, locate the half-Klingon boy named Vorlok."
OFF: and then it was 1900 hours / 0700 hours in the evening / 7pm
*Vorak puts aside his padds and nodds at Ms. Love.*
"I believe it is our scheduled time. Shall we proceed to the Klingon Restaurant?"
OFF: Ok, the person that knocked at my door has apparently disappeared from here. So let's continue the in-game conversation assuming that this did not happen.
"It is good to know that at least one other person in the family can keep their promises. Of course it was illogical that you would reject the wedding vows when you risked so much! Why do you think I did not believe your parents, when they told me you rejected them, and that I should do the same. For that reason alone I kept trying to send messages to you over the last 8 years. And I don't believe they were rebounced because of the Expansion Nebula, unless you were stationed in this sector of space for the past 8 years. Which I highly doubt to be the case. As I see your Ponn Farr situation, it would be best if I stay around for a while."
*KHa'Var standing with her arms crossed, crinkles her nose at the thought of a hologram of her.*
"And I would prefer that you come to me instead of some poor, fake imitation hologram of me. Now about your son. I think it is time you fulfill your role in his life. So far he has lived his life without the guidance of his true father. I have been teaching him the ways of a warrior, but I cannot teach him the ways of being a man, for obvious reasons. Now where could Vorlok be?
*She wonders about her son's location and begins to verbally recall where she knows he was.*
"First he was in your quarters, then he was brought back here by a man called Jarron. I then requested that someone watch him while I speak to you alone. I also said that who ever watches Vorlok can take him to the holodecks, or tour the station. Oh yes! That's right. Vorlok should be with Jarron, somewhere on the station. That is if Vorlok didn't slip away from him. So being this is your station, what do you suggest to be the 'most logical' way of locating your son, Vorlok, and bringing him here to meet him for the first time?"
*KHa'Var decides to let him take charge of their son for a change. 'I want to see how he manages Vorlok and the mischief caused by a young son.'*
*he gives a small bow*
"As you wish."
*Then returns upright and awaits an answer from Gordon*
*Montrell stepped out of his office and heads to OPS. But before he left the corridor he heared activity in the Flag Admirals office. "Since when did the admiral return?" Montrell thought. Montrell touched the panel on the right side of the door and it opened. The room was lighted and he could see a female standing at the desk, with her back facing him*
"I'm sorry? But what are you doing in this office....?"
'Very well. Mr. Gordon, would like to be transported to the palace abord my ship or would you feel comfortable bringing a ship of your own? We depart in 20 minutes. I have sent orders to t0he service fleet here to assist in repair that they are now under Captain Lurados command for the time being."
*Vorak takes a few moments to consider all that admiral Montrell has told him.*
"Relocate. We need to relocate. The location of Avalon Station so close to the Expansion Nebula has been a good strategic advantage when the Expansion project was first launched by Starfleet, but after all recent events it would be illogical to remain the station in what has become a defenseless area in space. I have in mind to move the station and bring it in orbit around Dantor."
*Enters with two duffle-like bags and nods to the Admiral*
"Bags packed, Admiral."
"Negative, admiral. It appears he is... exploring the station, and its different departments. He is apparently quite keen of speaking with a particular admiral Sullivan."
OFF: Hmm...dinner at seven in the morning...'dem Vulcans are strange. I think you mean 1900 hours...But I'm not one to correct the admiral.
sir i think it is most logical to say this but the delta allience ship asc revox has arrived they are meeting in the embasey
*turns around and goes back to ops*
OFF: Ms. Love isn't on the station right now. Q didn't transport her back from the USS Rivendell, so she's still there technically speaking. Which means I'll be coming alone.
*Vorak and Kha'Var leave the office, and take the turbolift toward the medical department.*
OFF: continues at medical department (Sullivan topic)
Just a minute *Q appears*, you miht be pleased to know that captain Taurik is an exceptional offer, he had ultimate powe and still managed to control his emotions. Admittly he's probobly scarred but meh

.
Now the same warning as I gave him. Beware the enemy you cannot see for hte mind is an open battlefield to one such as them.
*salutes Vorak and disappears*
=A= Incoming Priority 1 Message =A=
To: Flag Admiral Vorak
From: Cortana - Shadowfleet High Command
Admiral Vorak, your presense is requested at Solaris Station at the earliest possible time. As most of the Command Staff has disappeared and I am the only one left I must make this request. I have reason to believe the my sub-processor matrix is damaged. I request your help until the matter may be resolved. The coordinates are imbedded into this message which only your priority code can unlock. I look forward to are meeting.
=A= End Priority Message =A=
The doors slid open.
"Good evening Admiral, Commander."
He walks in and sits in a seat beside of Comm One.
"Mr. Sanchez, the case is closed. I will hear no more about this."
*He then almost pushes Sanchez out the door, and motions to Montrell.*
"Please enter, admiral."
*Montrell comes in, and the doors close, not leaving Sanchez a chance to say anything else.*
"Mr. Montrell, I assume you are here to brief me of the station's and fleet's status?"
Cmdr Hodson comes in and stands at attention
"Sir sorry for the long absence but I'm back where could you use me?"
"Yes, Admiral, although I experienced a little difficulty with accessing your quarters, I was able to enter and pack your belongings as well. I'm ready for beaming when you are."
*gathers the two bags and prepares for beaming*
*nods politely*
"Exquisite thinking, yes, it would be a great opportunity to get the details of what exactly you require for me to do daily without request. Did you have a specific time that would be most convenient to you?"
"Certainly. Computer, lights off."
*The room goes dark, and they both beam over to the Excalibur.*
OFF: just to make it a bit quicker
*Vorak steps into the turbolift and the door closes and the turbolift begins to move.*
"I hope that the Klingon Restaurant is a suitable choice for you? Or do you wish to eat elsewhere?"
OFF: not all that much has happened, really. Let me give you an outline.
We had our tour on station Deep Space 20, had a drink and dinner, and then went back to the ship (the Rivendell) and departed. On the way back, the ship caught a distress call from the Skytoucher and Evolution, but that wasn't planned in the storyline because the Skytoucher/Evolution story was already worked out, and nobody even sent a distress call there lol.
Well anyway, as to not upset that storyline, we had Q appear instead, and mess a bit with captain Taurik and such. Then Vorak went to speak with Q, and Q got annoyed by Vorak, and snapped his fingers and flash! Vorak was back in his office right here lol. Thing is, Vorak was the only one Q returned to Avalon Station, and Paris Love is therefore still on the USS Rivendell right now. I'm not sure where the Rivendell went to thereafter.
As for Vorak, he's going to go to Shadowfleet's base Solaris now to keep things in order there. Solaris is a secret station in the Expansion Nebula.
sir may i ask you were is your assistant i havent seen here in a while
*enters puts a pad on the admrils desk and heads out for the revox*
"Ah, greetings, captain. I see you are fast. Very good. Hmmm... ambassador? I have been in the embassy recently, and I could not find any of our ambassadors. Maybe they are all on shoreleave or attending negotiations on other planets."
"Tonight at 0700 hours would be my normally scheduled dinner time. Is that agreeable to you?"
"Very well, he may join this meeting too."
*He touches his commbadge.*
"Admiral Vorak to Ambassador Gordon, please report in my office. Vorak out."
*Sanchez furiously mutters some bad words as he storms out of the corridor back to the Evolution...*
Retired Admiral Nesbitt walks in and waits for the Flag Admial while waiting he notices Admiral Julian and Saluts he then looks at hodson expecting somthing out of him. He leaves a note for Vorak..
=====NOTE======
Dear my friend,
my request has been in for three days now just wondering what is going to happen?? I am excited to get back to service my retirement is soo bloody boring!! thank you for your help and again please i would really enjoy such a position!
Thank you,
Retired Admiral Nesbitt
The door slides open, and Doctor Nickerson enters the room.
"Captain Nickerson, reporting as ordered, Admiral."
"Very well. That is settled then. Please follow me to Ops, so I can order another desk to be placed in my office where you shall work at."
*Vorak leaves his office and enters Ops.*
"Attention, officers. I would like an extra desk installed within 2 hours, in my office. On this padd are all specifications required. Please meet my new personal assistant and secretary, Ms. Love."
*simon Rajnus chimes in at Voraks office waiting for his return*
OOC**when you get here Vorak.............This is what will be said.........
""Admiral I need to innoculate you of a deadly Virus that seems to turn Vulcans into Primitives........*innoculates the admiral with his permission*.........My doctor as we speak is working to innoculate the rest of the Vulcans aboard your ship.............I apologize for our hasty departures but once when my doctor is done We will be leaving..........Good luck Admiral *salutes and leaves*
yes sir shall we go then
Off: What a good idea,
"My ship and crew are at your disposal. They will be glad to hear news of a battle with a worthy opponent. Further more, I suggest that I take my ship into the enemies territory to scout for their fleet's current position. As it is the only ship available to you with a cloak."
*Vorak listens carefully and frowns. He then contemplates on the situation for a few moments, before responding.*
"Mr. Comm One, before I say anything, please do note that I fully understand the logical reasoning of the Delta Alliance in this matter. The Heraan is an extremely dangerous enemy to both the DA and Starfleet, and I agree we stand stronger if we face this danger together. However, simply assembling a large army and attack the Heraan, may not be the best option yet at this time. We know extremely little about the Heraan, as in this battle they appeared for the first time. Since the Na'jigat has never employed their Heraan allies in the past, it would appear they are changing their strategy in their attacks upon us, which means that their next step could be virtually anything. Secondly, both the Na'jigat and Heraan abandoned the battlefield just moments prior to their complete victory. Something caused them to decide and abandon victory for a more urgent matter, whether it is something that draws them to it, or that has scared them off. I suggest that Starfleet and the DA combine their forces, not only military forcees but also scientific forces, in discovering exactly what happened, and why."
"Mr. Sanchez, you are forgetting your rank and position here. Recommissioning the Evolution is no option. The ship has suffered too much damage and repairs would be too costly for a ship of that age and outdated technology. Taking that ship into space again now would be a large risk, and I cannot permit it. The matter is closed now, Mr. Sanchez, and I strongly recommend you let it rest if you do not want to endanger your upcoming promotion."
*At that moment, the door chime resounds.*
"That will be Admiral Montrell. Now if you will excuse us, captain, I have work to tend to."
Hodson looks at Vorak then asks
"Sir I would like to take command of a starship if possible or be a first officer again just let me know, I'll be in ops."
*Tyn dwells in a shrouded portion of the office. She keenly observes the conversations, quirking a brow, smiling, and pondering possibilities of every comment and argument made. She stands wordlessly.*
*KHa'Var jumps up.*
"Finally! If you will excuse me, husband officers. I have a crew to gather and a ship to prepare."
*She leaves the war meeting and heads to the Vor'cha Kahless. Once there she barks orders for all crew members to report to the ship and prepare for battle.*
"Very well. Do you require any particular administrative equipment?"
"Is that so? Interesting. I will attend the embassy soon, in that case. Thank you for informing me."
*Vorak suddenly appears behind his desk.*
"Mr. Q, it is illogical to-"
*Suddenly Vorak looks around, realising he is no longer on the Rivendell, but in his own office behind his desk.*
"Fascinating."
OFF: to find out what happened before, read Rivendell-B Mission 1 Shakedown Cruise in Avalon Division.
"I would have been more prepared, if you had announced your arrival, and our son's, beforehand. It appears I will have to modify my entire schedule, if I am to take care of a... illogical child. However, it would be illogical to ignore my responsibilities as father. I shall teach him in the Vulcan ways of logic, so he may learn to control and suppress his emotions. As for locating Vorlok, that should be quite simple. Computer, locate Vorlok."
Computer: "No Starfleet officer by that name is aboard this station."
"Very well, he is not registered in the computer databases. Hermes, locate Vorlok."
*Comm One walks from one end of the room to the other until he sees Gordon has entered the room.*
"Admiral, Ambassador. I am here to deliver an urgent message from the DA. As you know we run the DA on with a spacific and highly enforced Regulation. The Heeran, as you know, are an extreamly deadly foe and has been declared a threat to the lives of the civilians of the DA aswhele as the lives of those who neighbor us. The Heeran have been noted as a violation of General Orders one, two, three, and a few minor Orders. In response I have been sent to arrange and aid The Federation in a counter assualt to remove the Heeran as a threat of the galaxy. We have already mobilized four attack forces at the borders of the DA. With both of our peoples combined I do beleive that we can defeat them and the Na'Jigat. Preperations are being set to also meet with the Romulan Republic, formerly know to Star Fleet as the Romulan Coalition. According to our scouts and probes we have sent to there colony on New Carrarya they have changed their ways for the good."
"My engineers can repair the essential damage at low cost, and make the ship safe enough again for spaceflight! Could you at least consider my request, admiral?"
*At that moment, they have already arrived at the door again and the doors open, where Montrell is waiting to enter.*
*Galindez walks in and stands at attention then salutes the Admiral and then waits for the Flag Admiral to Reutrn his salute back*
"If the Loxians hear our communications, and learn we are prepared for them, they may reconsider their attack."
"I believe it can be done, admiral. It shouldn't take much time to make the necessary modifications on my part, but I believe that Mr. Detrell of engineering will have the most work rerouting the necessary power couplings to achieve the thoron field."
"Thank you for coming at such short notice. I am certain that the others are on their way now too. There are matters of extreme importance and urgency that are required to be discussed. The entire station may be in danger."
OFF: Frank Gordon, nice to show up too
Thanks.
"Perhaps we should call on the assistance of other divisions? Send out a general distress call? It would attract other Starfleet ships from nearby stations and possibly discourage the Loxians from attacking if they find out we know of their attack."
"Fine, I get the point. 'Play by the rules of the game, or you don't play at all.' I must point out that the Loxians do have a good plan of attack. Sending in a small force to cause as much damage as possible, while depleting the enemies weapon supplies. Then bring in the larger force of undamaged vessels to finish the job."
*KHa'Var stands up and paces back and forth across the room and around the table. Talking as she thinks.*
"Why not utilise their own tactic against them. We could have one small ship, or one section of a ship remain here with the station. Giving the impression that we are not aware of their coming attack, and that the remainder of the Federation fleet is out on individual missions. Thus they will not be able to respond to distress calls in time. However, the remaining ships, and or sections that are available, other than my ship, will be waiting out of sensor range. We will have quite a surprise for those Loxians, when they believe that victory is theirs. Ha! I can just see their faces when they are blown away."
"Welcome, Mr. Taurik. Take a seat, please. Mr. Montrell, could you summarize the relevant decisions we have made, for captains Skon and Taurik?"
"Captain Taurik... Ahh, yes. It is as I expected, then. The war has begun. We can only hope that the fortifications we have made as a preventive action, will be sufficient for long enough. We are running out of time, and we should put the fleet to a major alert."
*He goes to his desk and pushes a button.*
=^= All Federation stations and ships within reach to receive this message =^=
This is Flag Admiral Vorak speaking. We have recently received word that an attack on Avalon Station is impending. The enemy in this case, is the Na'jigat, a species that exist of pure mental energy and thus are unable to be killed by conventional weapons. Also shields are useless. Read more about the Na'jigat, their strength and weakness, in the database at http://www.expansionfleet.com/cgi-bin....najigat . Thank you.
This is a call for all ships of all divisions, with a request for military assistance to the highest possible degree. Avalon Station is about to be attacked soon, and the impact will be grave. Please send all available ships to Avalon Station. If this station falls, then the position of Starfleet and the Federation in the Delta Quadrant will become unstable.
Any ships arriving at Avalon Station may report their arrival to Avalon Station's Ops here http://www.expansionfleet.com/cgi-bin....=50;r=1 in Avalon Station Operations > Station Ops > topic "The Battle of Avalon".
=^= Flag Admiral Vorak out =^=
"It would be most fascinating to visit the Delta Alliance again, Mr. Comm One, but unfortunately, my presence is needed here at the station right now. The recent war with the Na'jigat and Heraan has left much destruction behind, and much work requires to be done. Please do, however, deliver her my regards."
*Vorak looks at Sanchez with a frown on his face.*
"Mr. Sanchez, I understand your reasoning, but I cannot send you to Loxius in the capacity of a Starfleet officer, nor otherwise. If I am to send a ship to Loxius, it would be seen as an intervention in name of Starfleet, which must be avoided at all costs. I am unable to send any ship there for that reason, and also due to the fact that we have no ships to spare. Many ships were destroyed during the battle with the Na'jigat and Heraan, and the ones that are still in one piece and good order, are needed here, as I have decided for security reasons, to move the location of Avalon Station to the orbit of the planet Dantor, and the ships are required to pull the station along."
*walks in after arriving back from Planet Dantor*
Admiral Vorak old friend. I must speak with you at once. It regards the current mission on Dantor. It seems a new race has been discovered, however there are many things that are to be discussed.
*Turns to Vorak*
"I believe Sir, that everyone is ready to perform their duties and assignments!"
*KHa'Var looks at Embries.*
"Fine, major. Have the modification sequences sent to my ship."
*KHa'Var standing up from her seat turns to her husband.*
"The sooner I am permitted to return to my ship, the sooner I can be on my way. We are loosing precious time that I could be using to locate our enemies!"
*She slams a fist down on the table, making it shake.*
"They will not be able to board as long as the station can maintain it's shield grid."
Taurik looks at Admiral Montrell.
"Admiral, have you any idea how many Loxian cruisers are approaching?"
"Admiral, may I make a suggestion? I'm not much of a tactician or engineer, but the Rivendell is a Prometheus class ship, and therefore is capable of separation, correct? Well, when the Rivendell gets back, could we send one of the sections out independently to warn the Evolution and bring them back?"
(Edited by Mike Nickerson at 2:08 pm on Oct. 17, 2004)
*Montrell turns directly to Admiral Vorak*
"Well admiral, I've spoken to the Skytoucher and they are about two hours away from here. Let's assume that the Rivendell is also at those coordinates. They already begun their repairs but I will tell them that they need to speed their repairs up and promise to give the Captains of both ships a briefing when they arrive here."
*Then Montrell stops for a second*
"Now for the Evolution, there's a little problem. I've just given them an assignment and they are heading towards Vontak Nor with one of the Loxian captives. There is an option to call them back, but they may already be far on their journey."
*Montrell turns to Kha'Var*
"I do agree that your plan has potential. But exactly how far should our ships be from Station Avalon to be out of range? And how quick can you be back, we don't know if they have invented a new weapon to attack this station. We are in fact "blind", we have no exact knowledge about their offensive power. We can however power the ships down and let them, the Loxians, think they are being repaired. It would give the Loxians false readings about our strength. This is ofcourse a small change on Miss Kha'var's plan."
Taurik strides right into the Flag Admiral's office without chiming. When the Admiral turns around in slight surprise, Taurik speaks immediately.
"The Na'jigat are near. We have run out of time."
=A= Admiral Montrell to Admiral Vorak =A=
"Admiral, I hope I'm not disturbing you. Although I think you want a full update on Station Avalon? Or have you had time to read the report that I left on your desk?"
"Then let me take the Evolution! It's in no shape of pulling the station, so you have no use for it! It's still good enough to get me to Loxius, and we'll be in civil clothes to show we're not there on orders of Starfleet. The Evolution is decommissioned anyway, you can spare it!"
i know your busy, but i ask that you join me in the conference room when possible, for a full debriefing on the matter. Thankyou old friend, see you there.
*and with that, the Vice-Admiral walks out and heads for the academy before going to the conference room*
"Very well. Computer, two to beam over to the U.S.S. Rivendell."
*And they dematerialize.*
OFF: continues on Avalon divison board, Rivendell topic mission 1
*Vorak looks up and raises one eyebrow as Kha'Var stroms into his office.*
"We are currently in an important meeting. Please leave my office and return when this meeting is over. Then, I will speak with you."
OFF: Gordon, let's discuss what happened in the docking bay elsewhere, because otherwise this topic will get too complicated. Basically, it seems to me that there was an entire misunderstanding. It appears that Gamma division should have asked you first, if you were willing to be included in one of their missions, before carrying it out, instead of just assuming that you would. But I don't think they had any ill intentions, it's simply a matter that got out of hand, and should definitely be able to be solved with common sense. If there's anything I can do, let me know.
"Beamed away?"
*Vorak frowns.*
"He may have been abducted somehow by the Loxians during the attack."
"You, of all people, know that I am not some defenseless ghojmoq, to be pampered in some safe haven! I am a SuvwI', vaj! I am battle tested and proven. I will joyfully embrace this danger you perceive. I welcome it with open arms! How can I forget what you risked at the Vulcan High Council, I was there. You left me before I knew that I carried a child! Did you not find it illogical to hear nothing from your family, for 8 years? I tried to send you word of my condition, but each transmission failed. A transmission error was generated from Starfleet. Your family was disgraced with the thought of a child resulting from our union. They tried to convince me that you made a logical decision to desert me, and had renounced the existence of our marriage. The logical reason why my transmissions were not received by you. I did not trust them or their 'logic', I saw the disapproval of me in their eyes! The closer it came to the child's birth, the more insistent they became in making me believe what they said. I did not want to believe them, it was unlike your nature to do such a thing. Things went a little far after that. On the day of the birth, I still could not get through to you. I was tired of hearing your family's logic, I denied help from any Vulcan by using force. I commanded two of my crew to let no one enter the room we used in your family's house. At first your parents accepted my decision. Then nearly two days of hearing my screams, of which could be heard across the city, they decided my decision was unwise. Your parents came to the room with a Vulcan doctor. As I instructed my crewmen would not let them enter. They told me that both of us would die if I did not let them help me. I told them that they should let us die as it would remove their illogical problem. Also that I would have the child and me die, before consenting to any denouncement of our marriage. At that both of them chose not to say anything. The doctor eventually convinced my crewmen that I was not thinking logically and my actions were irrational, even for a Klingon. Not comfortable with the situation to begin with, they stepped down and let him enter the room. With the doctors assistance, your son came into the light of day. Your parents remained outside the room, having a disagreement:disagree2:. Your mother's logic was to notify you of the birth of your son. However your father's logic was that after all this time, you were better off not knowing. Also he was not about to bother the Vulcan High Council, with such a trivial matter, to request Starfleet to discontinue the 'Red Code'--that limited the knowledge of your location, and transmissions to Starfleet officers."
*KHa'Var pauses for a moment.*
"Now you know about your son Vorlok, and why I did not inform you about him! It has been over 7 years since I saw you last, during Ponn Farr. Tell me what did you do for this last Ponn Farr? Did your assistant Ms. Paris take care of that for you? Or did you find someone else? If so tell me who it was, then confine them for their own safety because I will hunt them down and feed them to the ship's resident targh, piece by piece."
*She paces back and forth in the office clenching and unclenching her fists. The warrior's uniform making small squeaking and cracking noises, and her boots thud on the floor in a monotonous military rhythm.*
"Your wife's plan has merit, admiral. She could anticipate the coming of this Loxian fleet far sooner than our station's sensors could. Her cloak would make sure that the Loxians are not aware of us spying on them either. The only problem is, will the Klingon ship be back here in time?"
OFF: yes im officially not on the station, but I just responded. Sorry for the delay.
*Vorak frowns but does not respond to the question.*
"Very well. Please state the reason of your presence in my office."
"Unlikely, admiral. The beam-out event took place well before the attack of the Loxian fleet. At that time, there were no Loxian ships anywhere within transporter range. All I am able to conclude from sensor data, is that Vorlok was, apparently along with others, beamed away with a transporter not activated from the station itself. Thus, it must have been from a shuttle or ship within transporter range of the station. I have done a calculation to determine to which coordinates he must have been beamed, but no ship was detected there at that time. The only logical conclusion I can offer for the moment, is that Vorlok was beamed away by a cloaked ship that is somehow able to use their transporter while remaining cloaked. The cloaking device must therefore be a very advanced system, which makes it even more unlikely that the Loxians beamed him out, since they do not use any cloaking technology at all."
*Vorak enters his office.*
*comm One enters Voraks office behind him and watches as Vorak seats himself.*
"Sir, if you do not mind I have invited Ambassador Gordon to this meeting for he is the Ambassador for Starfleet and I feel his presance is required. So if you don't mind I would like to wait for him to arrive."
*Vorak listens to Sanchez and nods.*
"I understand this is a serious situation. However, the Prime Directive clearly commands us to stay out of these kind of situations. We will have to wait and see what the outcome of their internal war will be. Now if that will be all, I need to prepare for the briefing. Thank you for informing me, Mr. Sanchez. We will meet soon on your promotion celebration."
Sir, I am returning from my LOA. It took longer than expected. Where am I to report for duty sir?
OFF: I was out of the country and sent a PM to the High Command. Didn't ever get a response.
"While the others head here may i ask you to clear up something for me? It appears Admiral Lars of Gamma feels ill on my not wishing to further in his mission. (see the docking bay post)
"Ms. Kha'Var, I believe you do not yet fully understand Vulcan logic. In fact, I believe that my parents have been most... illogical, in their decisions regarding our circumstances. It is for that reason, that I consented to our marriage, despite their opposing arguments. I have consented to marry you indeed, and it is only logical that I keep myself to the promise I made. Therefore, it would be illogical for you to assume that I rejected my wedding vows, simply because your transmissions to me were rebounced. One of the main reasons why they may have been rebounced, was because we are located in a region of the Delta Quadrant here, that is beyond the Expansion Nebula--a vast nebula that distorts all communications permanently. We are virtually without contact with Starfleet Command, in this region of space."
*Vorak thinks for a moment, then lifts one eyebrow.*
"As for my... Ponn Farr, it was exactly 8.4 years ago. My most recent Ponn Farr, however, occured 1.5 years ago while I was under the influence of a Romulan virus. The doctors that treated me at that time, also medically suppressed my Ponn Farr, and it has not surfaced since. It may be that due to the past Romulan virus, and the medical treatment, my Ponn Farr course has been irregulated, in which case I do not know when it shall surface again. Naturally, if I were to experience Ponn Farr in the natural way, I would have recreated your personality on the holodecks... or visit you, to enable you to assist me through the procedure."
*Shortly after leaving the Kahless, KHa'Var walks through OPS and enters Vorak's office. She takes a seat and makes herself comfortable, while waiting for Vorak.*
"Good day, admiral. I have done a slight bit of research, to be able to be of service. May I assume that Vorlok is the young child that came aboard from the Klingon vessel, and has biosign readings indicating he is half Klingon and half Vulcan? If so, you should be able to find him in the medical department."
*The doors slide open and Detrell enters the office, holding several padds*
"Reporting Admiral, sorry for the mess *puts his hands in the air* but it seems I need to catch up with some work"
"Well, why didn't you tell me there was going to be a battle! It would be a glorious battle, my first in years!"
*KHa'Var promptly takes a seat and puts her boots up on the table.*
"So tell me what day would be a good day to die!"
*Montrell nods to Captain Skon and Commander Rasmain*
"Good that you could both join us, now let us get at the matter at hand. What is the status of the Skytoucher?"
*A transmision is heard at that moment in both ops and Vorak's office.*
=^=KHa'Var to S.S. Avalon=^=
Vor'Cha Kahless requesting permission to undock. Vorak, we will be under way in a matter of hours. I will contact you to let you know when we will head out. I would also advise that you keep a close eye on our son. He seems to attract trouble to himself.
=^=KHa'Var out=^=
*he extends his hand in the vulcan greeting*
Good day admiral. I was told you would brief me on the situation upon my arrival. I am curious to know what could be so important that Starfleet would call me out of retirement.
"Captain Taurik, please follow me to ops."
*Both leave the office and head to ops.*
OFF: post at Station Ops now.
*Vorak is about to lead Sanchez back to the door, but Sanchez abruptly stops him.*
"Admiral, you don't understand! I have to go there! Yes, I know all about the Prime Directive too, but I have to go there in civil capacity, not as a Starfleet officer!"
*Sanchez takes a deep breath before speaking again.*
"Admiral, Zayan is pregnant... with my child. I have to go rescue her... and my unborn child. But if I go there in a shuttle, it'll be suicide and I'll never get there on time. I need a ship! Please, admiral!"
No problem at all. Do you remember your old position? Or are you interested in a new one?
"...or reinforce their fleet even more."
*KHa'Var slams a fist down on the table.*
"Have you all forgotten that I will be taking my ship out to scout the enemy's fleet? I will have them in chaos by the time they plan to open fire on the station! If need be I will take out their ships one by one myself, on my way back here."
*Turns to Vorak.*
"Could you be so kind as to excuse the officers that need to make sensor modifications? The sooner that is done, the more time we will have to get everything else prepared for an attack."
Wait...Hedford was in his quarters with...*cough* Morrow...what happened?
"Keep on the subject, Mr. Embries. Could we erect a thoron field around the station, blocking the sensor scans of the Loxian fleet? That way, they would be unable to detect our exact tactical status. It could be another element of surprise, in our advantage."
OFF: if you told him at first that you would participate, and then told him you weren't going to do that any longer, I understand that he could have gotten upset. Maybe you could have pointed out what bothers you, instead of simply walking out of the mission. Maybe both of you simply need to calm down for awhile now, and then talk it out peacefully.
*She lightly steps into the dark room*
"Lights."
*The lights raise immediately, and she gazes around. A few items had been moved slightly, but for the most part, everything was where she had left it. Paris sets her bag on the floor beside her transparent desk and flops into her chair, exhausted.*
"Always good to be back. That's what you would say." *She says this in a flat tone towards the ceiling and laughs at herself.
*Love notices the station had changed a great deal while she had been recovering. New panels everywhere, new officers, for that matter.*
OFF: I don't know who our Chief Medical is now. this is to him/her:
=A=(doctor whoever), Paris Love reporting back from extended leave. I'm ready for your exam to clear me for duty. Love out. =A=
OFF: I promised, and I delivered. School's out. And I did get that job! I'mma facepainter at Disneyland, now. And I need updates on all of my other characters: Morrow, Love, Parker, Akasayuniashirkomas, and Tyn...oh and the intell one, umm...Zhen voya? I don't recall quite. If anyone please.
*MCapt Eastwood comes wondering in* Sir why have i been taken off the list for XO of JAG......... *as he waits patiently for an answer he starts to drift off to the good times he had in his last mission*
"Very well. We may need every detail of information that could give us a tactical advantage. Mr. Embries, you will work together with Mr. Hedford on these sensor calibrations. By the way, I see that Mr. Hedford is not here yet."
*He looks at everyone for a moment.*
"Very well, we must proceed with this meeting. Ambassador Gordon, we must be prepared for every situation. Should, in the worst case, the station be in danger of being captured or destroyed, we must evacuate all people with escape pods in a very short amount of time. Therefore, peope, and most in particular civilians, must be briefed about evacuation procedures, and where the nearest escape pods are for them."
*Then he turns to Montrell and Detrell.*
"Any suggestions? How soon can the U.S.S. Skytoucher, Rivendell and Evolution be ready?"
"I think i could learn more by going to the Queen. I'm interested in the Delta Alliance and it would be my first visit."
Aye sir. I was Chief Counselor, Medical Officer, and Chief of Diplomacy abord the Evolution, but those positions have all been filled. I would like to remain a department head if at all possible.
"Well Admiral, Mr Embries is right that the modifications to produce a thoronfield take more time in my department. But with the help of Miss Morow and Hermes, I am sure it will be done in a couple of hours.
In addition we can mask the signatures of the civilians we will be trying to hide somewhere on this station. We have received a new shipment of portable thoron generators, because the old ones had to be replaced. And so we can place them around certain areas, if, *Detrell makes a hand gesture* IF, the Loxians break through our defensive lines and will board the station they will not be able to use any tricorder as their scans will be blocked by the thoronfield. But I don't know if the doctor needs his generators, they are ofcourse part of his equipment to treat radiation burns but it would be another element in our advantage"
"Indeed, the nebula could be used to effectively 'hide' the ships from the sensors of the Loxian fleet. They will believe their target is an easy one, and will form their ranks accordingly. When they have done so, the U.S.S. Skytoucher and U.S.S. Rivendell could appear, causing confusion and surrounding their fleet. They will have nowhere to go, and will have to reform their ranks, for which they will have no time or place.
"Indeed those vessels would raise the bar. The Excalibur is a mighty sight even to our own. And the others such classes that the Loxiens will be matches even outmatched"
we also might need to prepare security teams in case thy decide to board the station
OFF: Save a few Q incidents, all I can think of in this division: Skytoucher returns with Vakin and two assassins, Love throws them a party. Several ships return from Starphoenix in horrible shape. The end. Surely someone else can fill you in more.
sir i have a sugetsion miss webber the chief security xo before me is still on the delta allience ship am i correct we could contact here and ask if she can convince the delta aliience to help us
*He walks slowly into the Flag Admirals office with his hands folded behind his back. Briefly scanning the room he waits for Vorak's arrival.*
*Fleet Captain Archer enters the Flag Admiral's Office*
Flag Admiral, since I don't have an XO on my academy anymore, I have searched for someone who wants to become my right hand. I indeed have found someone who will report in for duty next week. I can tell you that he is very professional and he also has some RPG and teaching experience.
I thought it would be best if I let you know. I don't know what his name is going to be, but I think it's gonna be all right.
*Archer leaves and returns to his office*
*Reynolds stepped into Ops and saw the Admirals Office. Just as Captain Lurado had told him, he waited until it was OK for him to enter*
OFF: Also, I feel that a Dept. Head shouldn't be an Ensign...Can we possibly fix that? LOL
Gordon spoke up after his long silence
"Puphaps, but if they are already bringing a fleet that outnumbers us we will have less chanced to win even with suprise. Whith knowledge of help morale will be up and chances better if all we have to do is hold out. Our fellow divisions have powerful ships and some close enough to get here in no more than 2 days"
"You are something else, really. Vorak, you've not the slightest idea how much you mean to your officers..."
*Tyn emerges from the shadows*
OFF: Lars, I think you meant to post with Kathryn Janeway

"Thank you, Mr. Montrell. Mr. Taurik, we have no knowledge whatsoever about the Loxian fleet, or when they should arrive here. But judging the knowledge we have from the last encounter with the Loxian Government fleet in the Dark Passage, it is very likely they will come in force, sending a large fleet... and a back-up fleet hidden behind it. It appears that the Loxian Government doesn't do things small."
*Then he turns to the others in the office.*
"Are there any other questions?"
"Thoron... Hmm... It is a radioactive isotope by-product from the decay of thorium. A superconducting stator of thorium arkenide is suspended in pressurized chrylon gas, in the center of a sealed cylinder of anseium titanide 454, into which power from the electroplasma system is being channeled, powering the gravity field generators of a starship or space station. The residue-"
"Yes, sir."
*Embries gets up, nods at Hedford and walks out of the office.*
"Keep control over your emotions, Kha'Var, rationality is a tactical advantage over an irrational enemy. We will proceed with the discussed plans, when everything is properly prepared. Without adequate preparation, the entire plan may fail."
*He turns to Detrell.*
"Very well, you have my authorization to shut down life support in non-essential areas. However, you will have to coordinate with ambassador Gordon, to make sure that all people are evacuated first. We must make sure not to leave anyone behind."
*He leans back in his chair and regards Hedford, who had just joined.*
"Mr. Hedford, thank you for coming late, rather than never. You will assist Mr. Embries in the recalibration of our sensors, after this meeting is over. He will brief you of the entire situation, but suffice it to say that we are preparing for a likely attack of the Loxian Government."
*Then he turns to face everyone present in his office.*
"Very well, how fast do you think all preparations can be completed?"
"The civilian areas of the station were evacuated during the battle, so that they would be located to a safer place. I decided it was safer for Vorlok to participate in this evacuation, rather than stay in ops. Since the station suffered very little damage, I assume that he is well."
*Without giving Kha'Var the chance to respond, he turns to the door.*
"Enter."
* Skon and Rasmain materialize on Avalon and are quickly sent to the Admiral's office.*
Sir, we got here as soon as we could. I apologize for the delay.
OFF: Sorry I've been lax for the past couple days, but there's a big deadline at work and it's not going well. Don't know how much I'll be posting for the rest of this week...I'll try to keep up.
OFF: I understand your point of view, and you are not obligated to participate in Gamma Division if you choose not to. After this incident, I doubt that the Gamma CO will include you in a mission a second time anyway. All I'm trying to explain is, that though inappropriate things may have happened, or mistakes may have been made, but that fights will not solve anything in the end. Nobody likes to fight. If you have told him your honest opinion on the matter, then I think you have done what you could. So my advice is to calm down from this situation now, both you and him. And use this as a lesson in the future to state clearly what is acceptable and what isn't, so this situation can't repeat itself any more. It's another experience for both of you. Working together with so many different people isn't always easy, and uncomfortable situations are bound to happen from time to time. But it is up to us to decide if we let those situations get the better of us, or if we grow above them.
OFF: Miss Love was distracted with a computer problem. *winks* And technically she's in sick bay at the moment, but that's alright. I'll allow this to happen first.
Love peers over her shoulder and lets a smile.
"Montrell, it's been some time."
"Well, Mr. Comm One, is it in agreeance with you and the High Queen, that Ambassador Gordon pays her and the Delta Alliance a formal visit to discuss the situation?"
Captain Taurik enters the office, surprized to see several high-ranking oficers in a meeting.
"I'm sorry, I did not wish to intrude."
Tyn is ever vigilant all this time, remaining motionless and silent. She watches as the tyrant stampedes out of the door in a hurry.
"Indeed, but by the time the Loxians realise that tachyon scans can penetrate the thoron field, if they know how to emit tachyon beams at all, we have won perhaps sufficient time to create a new tactical advantage by scanning their vessels."
"Very well. We can send a subspace message requesting assistance of the U.S.S. Excalibur and U.S.S. Tiberon, but we will send the message encoded, and make no mention of Loxians, for in case the Loxian fleet manages to intercept the transmission after all."
*Then he turns to Embries and Hedford.*
"Mr. Embries and Mr. Hedford, you are dismissed, so you may begin recalibrating the sensors."
*He glances at Kha'Var and nods at her.*
OFF: Let's do the following... have the ships that are supposed to be included in the Starphoenix Reconstruction mission, come over here around the time the battle starts. That way, the Starphoenix mission can start with all involved ships, after the Loxian battle is over.
sir nowthat gamm division is merged whit the other they have more ships at their disposal you could contact them
"My ship is no antique, and have you ever heard of a Klingon being late to a battle? I promise we will not miss the main battle. Besides if that happens, I won't have any fun. Not only do I plan to locate the Loxian fleet, but I also plan to find a nice place to travel within their formation. Thus causing confusion among them, when I play phaser tag. It would be a challenge to see if they can see the truth of what is happening. However I am confident that they will assume that one, or more, of their own ships are attacking their comrades."
