IC: Sir, the only real sickbay I have been in was as a child , but i completed my training at Avalon in a holographic sickbay in several different size ships

"Sir, this is Navi Reporting in. I was assigned some time ago to the USS Rivendell as the Assistant CMO and due to a scheduling conflict I was not onboard when the ship was deployed. I am ready and willing to fulfill my duties as eithe the Assistant CMO or if avalible the CMO. "

OFF: I was in the hospital for sometime and was not able to post I am not back for good and have invested in a laptop with WIFI for those times I can not be home to post. To further prevent any loss of posting time.

"Computer Lights have medium low setting, and light the fire place for me..."

::walks to replicator::

"... computer, can I have a filet minon medium rare, mash potatoes, and a Jake and Coke? "

--computer response and the dinner was there--

::Navi takes her food to the table, and turns on some music, Phantom of the opera for a dinner alone::

::Navi walks into her quarters after just finishing her first day of training at the Academy... She set down her PADD with all of her notes onto the table... she looked around the room at the unpacked boxes of stuff that her father had brought over and that her mother sent to her on a mail ship that passes by the home world.::

"oh lord, I have to unpack some of this stuff. I don't think I will feel at home until i make it my own...::

:: she unpacks a box labeled "Navi's Award's" and carefully places framed certificates of various childhood and teenage achievements unto the wall in her office space. Awards for perfect attendence, science fair prizes, but mostly talent show and writing awards from when she was in secondary education. Underneath the awards was a stack of picture frames, she set them on her desk, staring at each one for a moment. The last one she pulled out was a picture of a handsome man who stood 6'5, wearing a starfleet uniform bearing the rank of Lt. She looked at this one more than the others, the more she stared, the more her eyes teared up. She started talking to the photo while wiping the tears away from her face.

" David, your picture goes right here, next to my bed, not on my desk like a regular picture of times long since past, but as a constant reminder that I can do this."

::she paused for a moment before speaking again::

"I feel so alone here, why David, Why am I alone here?"

::she puts the picture down after kissing it gently. She changes into something more comfortable and more appropriate for the social life and walks out of the room, looking back at the picture one last time before the door closes::

" Could I have a Hot Fudge Sunday? I know that sounds weird, but I am craving Chocolate! Thanks, Your a doll!"

::Looks to notes to find a disease or condition affecting either the central nervouse system or brain directly, realizing the connection between the two, looks to Darnay's Disease and raises hand::

Sir, the Basilar Arterial Scan could be used to diagnose Darnay's Disease, although this disease also attacks the central nervous system of it's victims, it would also have to affect the brain because it is the control center for the nervouse system.

"Sir, I believe the difference between a Starship Sickbay and a Triage Unit is, that a triage unit, only deals with surgery, and a starship sickbay, is not only for everyday injuries but is also equipt with the supplies to deal with surgeries, like the simulation we just had."

::Navi Gets the Dermal Regenerator, she also gets a hypospray of Endorphins for Coho. she takes the regenerator to her patient and the hypospray to Coho...she walks back to her patient lays him patient back on the table and runs the regenerator over the phaser wound, with each pass it closed a little more. ::

"Coho, the wound is closing up nicely, I will run a scan over it to make sure that the tendons and muscles fused back together properly"

::Navi Starts an fluid intake bag to keep the admirals blood pressure at a constant norm::

::Navi sedates the admiral with Melorazine... then hooks him to a artificial breathing aparatus. Looks at coho briefly with a nervouse look..::

"ok lets do this, he's not going to die on my watch, simulation or not. "

::sets the tray of the tools to use on the open heart bi-pass, preps the area around the heart for invasive surgury... Navi pauses for a moment and stares at Coho..."

"COHO! What would you think about a Cardiac replacement? It would not only fix the problem, but he would have alot longer due to a new heart having a better life span...."
