*Embries leans on his staff as he gets up again.*
"Ah, you go on without me, my friend. My bones are tired, and as much as I'd like to stay and enjoy this party here, I feel I must now return to the more familiar surroundings of my science labs, where I will get some peace and quiet. I need rest, Enoch. You have fun."
*Embries walks away with his staff, and leaves the store, heading back to the science department.*

*An old, bearded man with a walking staff enters the store.*
"Quite interesting, and here I thought I was going to have a dull evening in my science labs."

"Ahh, yes, I concur. You are still a young man, Mr. Enoch, I feel that soon enough you will meet someone you will want to give such a gift."
*Embries grins.*
"As for me, I am too old to think of relation ships any more. Well, in my reckoning I'm not that old, but who would want to choose a man who has lived a few thousand years, and looks it too?"
*He sighs, but then he cheers up a bit again as he looks around the merchandise.*
"Do you see that green thong there? The one that looks like it's made of green branches with leaves on? Now that would have been a gift to give an Erendir woman, if there were any around."
*He takes another deep breath and sits down on a nearby bench.*
"You know, Mr. Enoch, I really do feel old as of late. All that has transpired in the last mission, on the Evolution, has taken its toll on me.  The Na'jigat attack, the discovery of the Erendir outpost... now don't take me wrong, I am happy to learn that my species is not as near to extinction as I had always thought it to be. It is a lonely life, living and believing that you're the only one of your kind left. But maybe knowing that there are others like you out there, but you can't be with them, may be even worse. I can only pray that they will be spared from a Na'jigat attack as the one we have seen at Deep Space 12. I have this fearful premonition, Mr. Enoch, that we haven't seen the last of them. They have grown powerful, beyond our fears even, and the new members of the Order of Gallifrey may not hold them off forever. The Na'jigat will be back... for the Great Battle of our time..."

*Embries suddenly spots Enoch through the crowd in the store.*
"Ahh, Mr. Enoch, we meet again! I would think that almost the entire station is cropped inside this store, today. Even Flag Admiral Vorak is here, did you see him?"

"Oh.. Uhm... I have been... looking into the legends of Merlin a little bit."
*He coughs on purpose.*
"Sort of gives a familiar vision."
*He coughs again and quickly turns to the crystal, to look at it again.*

*Embries suddenly steps forward.*
"I would like to go to the Evolution and see what is going on there. If they have an intruder on board that is endangering the lives of the crew, I may be of help tracking him down."

*Embries rolls his eyes at Enoch and Huw.*
"Human nostalgia. You need to learn to live with it. You're acting as if the man is King Arthur standing before you!"
*He can't help but laugh.*
"And what would that make you? Sir Lancelot? And me the Merlin?"
*He pulls the hairs on his long, grey beard as he laughs.*

*Embries gives Emrodel a frown, and then heads for the turbolift as well.*
"Very well. Let's catch the next turbolift."
*The turbolift door opens, and they step inside. Embries turns around to Voya, Picard and Huw.*
"Thanks for the lift."
*The turbolift doors close, and they head for the transporter room. Soon thereafter, they beam over to the Evolution.*

"I'm not going to-"
*Suddenly, he realises he is no longer in Enoch's shop, but on board a highly sophisticated starship bridge.*
"What the... where are we? I've never seen a bridge like this before!"

"The crystal stone is right here."
*Embries points at the seat on the left of the captain's chair, where the crystal stone is resting on a blanket.*
"Don't worry, I'm not letting it out of my sight."

"I am inclined to agree with the risks involved, Mr. Svensson, if it were not for the case that you are keeping me hostage in this shop. Release the locking systems, and we will talk. If you do, I will say no word about it to anyone else, you have my word. And the word of an Erendir has a legendary reputation too."

*Embries suddenly notices that the crystal is no longer on the counter, and moves closer to Svensson and Enoch.*
"Where... is it?"

"And who may you be, Mr. intruder, to lock us in without warning or even a valid reason? What you are doing here, is against every Starfleet regulation! When we get out of here again, I will not hesitate to file a protest against your actions!"

*Embries notices that the crystal stone is still laying openly on the counter, for everyone to see. He gives an alarming look at Svensson, who is standing closer to the counter.*

"Allow me..."
*He flips open his tricorder and begins to scan the room.*
"This will be faster."
*Suddenly, the tricorder beeps when Embries holds it in a certain direction, near a dark corner with piles of boxes.*
"I think I found them..."
*He glimpes over the pile of boxes, and sees a slight movement as Vorlok and Sarnae attempt to crawl away further to avoid being seen.*
"All right, come out of there... both of you. No need to pretend you're not here, I've seen you."
