   Oh this is perfect-- he thinks -- great space, very appropriate location and... -- he sees the notice of the captain to the engenieers -- perfect orders! Even if this is not the captain's area, he is very aware of the measures to be taken. This will be surely a great place to work.

About the shore life-scan, the results and my initial findings proved to be very inspiring. I found a beautiful colony of celenterated beings (a coral reef) that have very rare characteristcs (in fact I only saw something like that in the reefs of omicron-6) such as a pale pink bioluminescence, and a amazing translucid matrix. I discovered more species too but this I'll report later.
I think I'll collect some specimen and place them in the few tanks that I found in the lab. Don't worry about the conditions. I have the unusual skill of taking care of such creatures mannualy. I'll report later about this too.

And yes, I would like to have drink after work Dr.Stuart.
I'm looking forward to have my first drink at our base's Bar & Grill.

I'm glad to have this chance to work here, and I will try to fullfill all my duties as best as I can. I saw that already is a part of the building reserved for the xenobiology lab and I don't think it will be nescessary to remind you sir, of the special requirements of such lab. Of course this is something for later attention due to the needs of the facillity as a whole. If you needs assistance in any other matter sir, that you judge I will be useful, consider me ready to help.
If I may add, althougt our areas of expertise are somewhat distant, I think my contribution to our department will be valuable, because this planet is very wealthy in all kinds of lifeforms.
