Coho kept in contact with the medical teams as they spread out among the pods.
"Is that it? They've been put into storage and nearly suffocated.  Who was in charge of these people, a genocidal maniac?".

"Unless I suffer from word salad, you have it right Admiral. While we're on the end of that meaningless issue. I do not happen to be young. I am flattered by Mr. Alf's treatment of me to be a naive young fellow, but I am nothing near that. I had my own practice for fifteen years, before finally joining Starfleet to get away from it. I am beyond needing to be patronized".

Coho reopened his medical tricorder and sighed, still irked by the need for any conversation over the alledged problems.

"The medical teams are spread out now as needed, they have given the people of our comrade here oxygen, assuming they need one hundred percent oxygen, since Mr. Alf decided not to answer that question either. Luckily it appears they are taking to it well".

He closed the tricorder again.

"So, they will not suffocate. But I still need to know if they had or may have any disease. Quarantine is not out of the question in a situation of this. For our good, or for the aliens. If they cannot handle the things floating around this world, or our ships, if they were to go onto them. The species could very well go extinct because of contamination".

Coho looked to Alf, then to Julian, then to Alf, then back to Julian.
"We're making an alliance with this people?".
Coho put away his medical tricorder, finished with the medical work.
"Can I not make it more obvious Mr. Alf, dear friend to the Federation. I have not said you have an illness. I was asking if one might have been contracted over time. A simple answer would have sufficed for me to proceed with my job".
He took a breath.

"If I had just woken up after so long...I think I would get a tickle inside about being able to call people 'young one'. Or thinking I could, and make an effect with it. Don't you agree? If you've been asleep for five hundred years more than me, well, your just more rested than I am, not more intelligent.  While you have been busy patronizing me, your people have not died".

Coho quickly reached for his comm badge
"All medical teams, spread throughout what you identify as life support containers, prepare temporary life support systems if the people inside are quickly evacuated".

"I do not think there is anything to watch. Mr. Alf was incorrect to create a conflict over insults, which never took place. The problem does not lie with me, very simply said. I am an Ensign, not a moron".

Coho looked up and shook his head impatiently, irritated by the aliens assumption of ignorance, and of youth.
"How about my advice, next time build your pods to last, then we can talk about not sharing comments about technology. As you can see, my medical teams are spread out, and are tending to your people".
He quickly pulled out a medical tri-corder and changed the discussion.
"So your people, I am going to guess they need pure Oxygen? And most importantly, does your race have any known disease? If there is even a hint of possibility, I want to quarantine the area and people around it".

Five minutes after Julian called for the Ensign, Coho transported to their location, carrying two large cases in each hand. After him, ten enlisted medical crewman transported with their own packs of equipment.

"Here, Admiral. I have all I could grab in half a minute. What are we looking at here? Genocide? Contamination? Mass medical emergencies are never sunshine and puppies".

"I will have the extra teams standing by in that need, if one comes. While there is no science officer, perhaps there is something I can lend in that area of this situation?".

Coho snapped the tricorder shut loudly with distinct irritation.

"Wrong. I am now asking you if your species, or race, has any known diesease. Which was what I asked before you changed it to a statement. Now do you want to answer my questions? Or would you care to continue feeding on the conflict that you seem to so desire to create?".

"It is not understood Admiral, but I don't think that matters. I could yell louder and louder, yet I get the feeling nobody is listening, just moving their mouth in response. Do we have any medical needs down here for now?".

OOC: I would never have guessed...
"You are in the land of the living, I am your leader. Where do you think you are? And what do you figure I am? How about the next time you make a fancy move like that, you avoid the stupid questions".
He straightend up and smoothed out the uniform.

"Do you remember coming here? There may have been a distress call from you. Either way, you came here".

Coho reentered the infirmary in a shorter time than expected to make a check. His contact made him assume that the patient was return to conciousness. He walked to the side of the biobed, and took a couple pokes to the face of the patient.
"Are you hearing me? Feeling?"

Coho threw the hypospray to the wall.
"Who sent this patient here!? I'm a doctor, not an engineer!".

He went to the control panel for the biobed, and Blaze's torso was covered by the arch.
"All we can do is sustain his life signs. If this does not take his dependency on the cybernetics, he dies. If it does, he lives for a little bit longer, but dies anyway".

The aides took the instructions, and he went for the doors.
"Call for an engineer or a Xenobiologist. Apparently I was in the middle of a meeting. I have to return to sitting like a mindless drone".

Coho came into the infirmary shortly after the patient. Following him were several medical aides.

"Prepare a hypospray of Cordrazine" he called, while preparing a dermal regenerator. He moved the regenerator across the open wounds, and inserted the hypospray of Cordrazine into the patients neck.
"He should stabalize and return to conciousness soon".

Coho still sat in the room.
"Was there a reason the Starfleet part of this planet were called here by the Admiral? We've been sitting here for a very long time".
