"Hello, Ardeth. I haven't seen you in years." the person said, stepping out from the shadows. "Malcolm?! I thought they killed you after I left! Well, there's nothing good I've heard about you. Can't control your blood hunger, can you?" Ardeth said, wishing silently that Blaze wouldn't hold it against him for keeping this secret. "Well, you certainly haven't changed. I come looking around and see the shiny shuttle here. I figured you'd be on it. Though the tin can there isn't looking too well." Malcolm said, being a pain. Ardeth growled. "I may have something to offer, a painless ending to your suffering. I can't bring myself, however, to kill anyone. Not without reason." Ardeth said, relaxing, hoping Blaze would be kind enough to end his brother's suffering. Malcolm was just flesh, blood, and bone. He'd be easy to kill, but Ardeth wished to see that it was painless.
