Greetings! This is Ambassador Tomek of the Romulan Star Empire.

I'm the Chief of Embassy at Khazara Base and I'd like to introduce myself to the chief diplomatic officer aboard Avalon Base.

Wearing his ambassadorial robe Commander Tomek went out out of the turbolift and entered docking bay 4, his attaché was always some steps behind him.

Waiting for Admiral Nocturnus they both took position in front of the docked runabout...

"I'm very delighted about this warm welcome, Admiral.

Tomek points at two large boxes.

"How do humans say: 'Small gifts help keep a friendship alive'. If you would please tell my attaché where to put it...

Now, if you would be so kind to tell Vice-Admiral Julian that the High Ambassador of the Romulan Star Empire and his attaché request permission to come aboard the U.S.S. Rivendell.

I'm sure the ChH Nuhirrien will be save here until we return..."

This is Ambassador Tomek of the Romulan Star Empire. I'm here to be the romulan representative aboard the new U.S.S. Rivendell.

Requesting permission to initiate docking sequence."

"Admiral Nocturnus, I must apologize to you for wasting your time in vain, but I just got a subspace message from the admirality. I have to return to Khazara Base - there is a situation to be clarified. The Rivendell will have to fly without me. I'm very sorry about this, Admiral, but maybe I will return to Avalon Station, soon..."

Tomek and his attaché go aboard their ship again.

"Tomek to Avalon Base: Requesting permission to leave drydock."

'So, how long have you been aboard this ship, Lieutenant? I must say it somehow looks impressive - although it's a bit damaged at the moment...'

Nocturnus and the romulan ambassador were leaving the runabout. Two starfleet officers were waiting for them outside the ship.

'... thank you for taking me here savely, Admiral Nocturnus. It was an honor to make your acquaintance... I really hope we will see each other again.'

He nodded at Nocturnus. Then he noticed the two officers waiting.

'Ah, Major Hedford...? It's a pleasure to meet you!'

I am ready, Admiral.

'Thank you, Admiral'

Nocturnus and Tomek followed the Lt. Cmdr.

'Is it a long way getting to the bridge, Commander? Could you perhaps take me to my quarters now? I think it's better for me to visit the bridge later - when this ship will be working out again...'
