Reg had been monitoring the away teams progress, when he noticed something abnormal about the cave. It wasn't allowing the targeting scanners to get a lock on the away team.

"No Response, Sir" Reg said. Th ship then shuddered violently and all the lights and panels went out.
"What in the hell?"Reg called into the inky darkness, then the emergency lights came online, "Hmm-odd,Main power would appear to be offline, as is the computer system"
The emergency lights flickered and then cut out again; Reg pulled out a torch and lit it-slightly illuminating the bridge. As he did so he got up and floated momentarily before settling on the floor.
"The artificial gravity is low-request permission to head to engieering, sir?"Reg asked

After beibng a little disgruntled of being relieved, Reg had gone to the rear of the bridge and accsessed a science terminal.
"Hmm, No life forms aboard...minimal systems and life-support" Reg reported
"This ship appears to be desserted. Odd though how it scanned us. I am detecting no communication activity...Permission to lead an away team, Captain" He finished
