"So your saying the buildings are of no importance to save? but the people are?.  Hmmmmmm, then we need to protect the people.  We will need to move everyone of your people who isnt willing to fight down to a bunker of some kind.  I need to know entrance points into the enclaves? are they connected to each other? What are these predators like? Will the Heraan need to go through a surface entrance first before going down to the enclaves?.  Things like these I need to know." Balkazar told Raszagal.

"As for your hesitation, I understand fully.  But you need to understand we are allies, you should trust me more, after all we will be defending your homeland.  If we fail here then the entire universe pays for it after all.  As for your guilt dont feel guilty, its in the past and you had no choice unless you intentionally told the Heraan then the guilt will be with you till the day you die.  Thats the one of the many things you have in common with us mere humans." the Col added.

<Balkazar and the remainder of his marines came up the roads of Antioch, battered and beatened from the ongoing warefare.  They drove through the streets looking at the remains of the city known as Antioch, they came to the temple>

"Master Tech, where is Legudon and Taurik, Where is Captain Taurik." Balkazar asked still seating in the Puma.  "What happened to them!" Balkazar asked forcefully, knowing he wouldnt like the answer.

Col Balkazar - Outskirts of Antioch

<Feeling the message that was sent from Master Taurik, Balkazar called out orders to both Marine and Starfleet alike>

"Turn the guns around and open fire." Balkazar yelled to the men.  "If those Gallifreyan's die we have failed or mission.  NOW MOVE!" he added in a marine fashioned yell.

<The marines turned their attention and opened fire bringing the full power of the Marine corp to bare on the Heraan.  The 8 Puma's with 5 men each raced forward ahead of the rest of the Corp to get to the Heraan artillery line first to assist the brave and valliant Gallifreyan's...........Soon reaching the Gallifreyan's side, the Puma's and marines inside of them opened fire in a hail of Suppression fire>

<Then came the Pelican's descending from the skies like a swarm of angry wasp's.  Firing their phasers and cutting the Heraan's lines in half, like cutting a knife through butter,  furthering the chaos that soon followed>

<Back at the lines Balkazar stood surveying the work of his men>

"Dolan, take 5 marines and secure the Gallifrey Council.  Thats your primary objective, secure them and get them over here behind our own lines.  Go around the Heraan's ex-artillery lines, thats probly your safest bet.  Now MOVE!" he ordered Dolan in a fine military voice.

=^= "Dolan, good to hear you escaped head for Antioch and hook up with the Gallifreyan's we will be their inside of 2 minutes." =^= Balkazar said over a comm channel that was set to respond to all the command staff leaders.

<The other Pelicans followed suit landing the Puma's and dropping off the marines>

=^= "Alright, you pilots I need you to go and pick up those Federation officers and get them to Antioch and hopefully we will be inside the enemy lines by then." =^= Balkazar ordered.

<Balkazar climbed into Puma and ordered his men to follow suit.  Balkazar's puma sped right up next to Raszagal's Puma>

"Raszagal, im giving you a field promotion to Major, Congratulations.  Now with this new responsibility of yours.  Once we get past the Heraan lines, we will have to meet up with Gallifrey defenders." Balkazar said to her.

=^= "Angel, Time to bomb the Heraan lines and make a gap for us to get through." =^= Balkazar said to Angel over the comm.

((I forgot Alexia's password so bare with me))

"LEGUDON!" Alexia yelled as she saw her master fall to the ground, burning with rage she attacked the Heraan she was dealing with.

<Alexia swung her Khala as she did, the Elite Heraan parried it to the side quickly disarming her.  He pushed her back to the far wall with his psionic push ability, she got up and realized she was weaponless and her weapon was stuck in the ground atleast 40 ft away>

<She waited for the Elite weapon to swing and as it did, she made her move and tumbled between the Heraan Elite's leg right to the otherside and rushed for her weapon, she grabbed it up just in time to block an attack from the Heraan elite she was attacking.  As the Elite plunged its blade at her, she moved to the side to get out of the way and as the Elite's weapon stuck in the ground, she took the time and rolled out of the way, got up and swung her Khala down, quickly decapitating the Heraan Elite>

Colonel Balkazar - USS Normandy - Motor pool

"Stow that gear on the Puma's and Pelicans, get that back up gear loaded up.  I dont want to be caught off guard and ill equiped!" Balkazar yelled out in a fine drill sergeant style.  Then a female crewmen handed him a PADD.

<He looked over it and studied it as he leaned up against the wall>

=^= "Raszagal I need to talk to you immediately." =^= Balkazar said tapping his comm badge.

"Alright, set up the morters and start pounding the cannon.  We have to take out the defenses then get in unless we can burrow underneath." Balkazar said to Dolan as he worked.

<Noticing the Radiant Thunder crash landing and the appearance of the Starfleet officers, he looked around to make sure everyone was accounted for.  He knew he couldnt send anyone to meet them but knew that if he did send anyone they would most likely be killed soon after>

"Dolan you and your officers stay with us.  Make it clear that no one is to leave our sight." Balkazar said as he pressed the comm on the Puma.

=^= "To any survivors of the Cardinal Virtue, this is Col Balkazar of the 17th Battalion marine corp.  We are sending our coodinates to you now.  Hook up with us as soon as you can.  We will wait for you.  Col out." =^= Came Balkazar's gruff voice.

Col Balkazar - Lead Pelican, Atmosphere of Gallifrey

"Alright land fall soon." Balkazar told his marines.

<Balkazar recieved data about the Normandy and he silently cursed but saw several escape pods heading for the planet from the Normandy>

=^= "Raszagal, once we hit planetside we will have to intercept those escape pods, the Normandy crew is on them and I dont want them to fall into enemy hands, they wont beable to defend themselves for long.  Get me ahold of the Gallifreyan commander on the ground.  Those pods have to be retrieved with all haste that can be mustered." =^= Balkazar said over the comm to Raszagal's Pelican.

<Seeing Raszagal approach he got up from sitting down momentarily as she walked up>

"Yes, I need tactical information on Gallifrey.  Seeing as how we are going to be deployed to protect your enclaves, any information about the lay of the land and such would be useful.  This PADD has very little known information about your homeworld, So I figured I would use you for more then just a marine.  So sit down because I have a feeling that you are going to be telling me alot about your homeworld's terrain and position of your enclaves and such.  Why dont we start by you telling me which enclave has priority if things go to hell which undoubtedly they will." the Col. said sitting down on a nearby crate.

"Raszagal, contact your templar friends and send what troops they can spare to assist our federation officers.  They arent prepared to take the Heraan head on!" Balkazar ordered.

<The marines started to pile into the power armor that was dropped off, activated the systems and heavy assault weapons materialized on their arms ready for action>

<The marines fired their phasers and the Puma's let loose a fury of heavy weapons fire, not giving the Heraan a chance to recharge their shields.  They quickly pierced the Heraan armor shattering them into peices>

Col Balkazar - Outside Antioch, Gallifrey

<The other 8 Puma's charged headlong after Raszagal till the lead puma went end over end as he witnessed two of his marines crushed by the Puma debris and Raszagal leaping attacking the Heraan commander>

<The 8 remaining Puma's made a full circle perimeter and the marines hopped out and started to open fire on the Heraan trying to take them down, took several shots to take 1 down so it will be a lil difficult to take the others out without aerial support>

<The voice from his symbiote came threw his mind>

"These Gallifreyan's seem like a good species I doubt they
would let you die a miserable death." The symbiote asked telepathically.

"Your not helping, do you have any constructive advice to give? after all if I die, you die." Balkazar told his symbiote telepathically.

"Hmmmm, constructive not at the moment." The symbiote said telepathically to Balkazar.

<Balkazar just sighed at the comment made by his symbiote>
