Just then a distress signal was reveived fromt he USS Evolution

[All available ships, station avalon is under attack from unknown creature, say again, unknown creature has attacked starbase avalon. The stations sheilds are down and their hull is breaching]

"Lt Jnr Grade Stuart reporting for duty sir"

I was told that I would be the second helmsmen onboard the USS Evolution

*Turbo Lift doors open*

Silm looked out and acessed the bridge. He didn't like all the rocking the ship had sustained and wouldn't be surprised to see holes gaping int he ships side. His position however was on the bridge so he announced his arrival to the otherwise hectic bridge crew.

"Sir, Stuart reporting for duty, Cheif of Ops..."

Stuart said this as he headed over to his station. If there was anyone there he releived them, unless they were of higher rank in which case he would ask first.

Aye sir, sending distress signal

"All available ships, station avalon is under attack from unknown creature, say again, unknown creature has attacked starbase avalon. The stations sheilds are down and their hull is breaching"

Stuart sent the signal on all possible channels hoping that some sort of fleet could arrive to help the station.

OFF: So... where do I post that distress message? Other ships... and/or other divisions?

"Sir, I'm reading heavy casualties, should I beam them to our sickbay?"

Stuart looked at the view screen and the heavy damage the station had sustained. It was a close shave and it was very lucky that the station had held together.

"Aye Sir..."

*Takes his position at the ops station*

"Sir, damage is repairable, though there is a hole in the port side of the ship, repair crews have been alerted to it"

Silm couldn't believe the damage that the Evolution had taken, though she seemed to be in one piece. He had never seen Nelix before and was amused that the tales he had heard were... rather true. He smiled as he monitored the ships status.
