T'Kar- Radiant Thunder
(OOC:did i get a promoton without knowing it or does Commander Freeman still exist? http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>)
T'Kar put the finishing touches on the new Na'Jigat-proof armor, with the help of Mr. Freeman because he was still considered a 'rookie'. Nobody ever said he was out loud but he still knew it. He wondered what it was that made him a rookie.
~ Is it because I am still an ensign? Or maybe because it's my second mission. It is possible it is something else, or a combination of things.~ he thought with Vulcan-like evaluation. Either way he wanted to not be a rookie. He took the oath to be a starfleet officer and serve it until his death. It was the one thing in his life he needed. It was a commitment so large it would bring dishonor to dozens of generations, in his mind, if he didn't take it.
He decided not to say anything to commander freeman or anybody for that matter, about his more personal quest.

T'Kar, Engineering station, Radiant Thunder
Right after he heard the report that the Normandy was destroyed, Admiral Julian's report came accross the comm. "Omega team." T'Kar said under his breath. The ship adjusted its heading to get near Gallifrey.

While the marines were fighting the Heraan on the surface, a battlecruiser came right toward them at full impulse. It was going to ram them. The whole team did a lot to slow it down, but the Radiant Thunder colliding with the ship was inevitable. With all the weapons fire, the battlecruiser was down to 1/4 impulse, with the shields down. T'Kar had an idea, though it might have been obvious. "Tactical, I suggest you reverse the polarity of a tractor beam and lock it onto that ship!" He said in his booming voice. When the blue beam grabbed the cruiser, it adjusted its course just enough to clear the hybrid starship by meters.

With about six red, yellow, and green torpedoes, the ship exploded in the high atmosphere of the lush planet. The Radiant Thunder rocked from the explosion, then everybody sighed in short lived relief.

(OOC: sorry for not posting, I've been busy. By the way Tigerlead, do you want me to try to overload the Heraani ship's warheads? I forgot my brain at school.) http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>

Ensign T'Kar, Avalon Station
As soon as he got word of what ship he was going to serve on for the mission, T'Kar gathered all the information he could from the computer and from people who were familiar with the ship. "The Radiant Thunder. It is an odd name. Regardless of the name, it is an engineering masterpiece." He said to everyone and no one.
It was only his second mission, But he was already serving on his second ship, in the greatest war he believed he will ever see or be in. He was disappointed that he couldn't go into battle with the Rivendell, a highly advanced tactical vessel, but he knew it was suicide to take a damaged ship like that into battle with the Na'Jigat.

Ensign T'Kar. Avalon Station
T'Kar got on the station from the foreign Gallifreyan ship. He knew his orders, which were the same orders as everyone else. He also knew there was going to be a war. While he was mentally preparing, he found himself wandering.
Even though he was a Klingon, he was quite young and had butterflies in his stomach, but he would never show or admit it. So he tried an experiment, Vulcan tea. It had calmed him, but he was still Dugh, or vigilant.

T'Kar, Radiant Thunder
^=^Thank you for the compliment, ensign Tigerlead, but I cannot take all of the credit. I will be sure to pass that compliment on to my team. T'Kar out.^=^
When he was walking to one of the consoles, amidst the rocking and shuddering, a crewman screamed. He said No, No, and ran after T'Kar. Surprised for a split second, he jumped into action. It was more difficult than he expected to render the man, as T'kar identified to be lieutenant Hanson, unconscious.
^=^T'Kar to sickbay, I suggest you come down here. Lieutenant Hanson just attacked me. He just screamed, yelled no, and attacked. May it be our close encounter with the Heraani ship that could have done it?^=^

T'Kar, Engineering, Radiant Thunder
(OOC: Sorry I haven't posted. I know I should save it for another time but yesterday it was 45degrees F and today its 60! wierd huh...)

T'Kar was in engineering, running around, barking orders, and leading some repair teams. He did this all at Commander Freeman's orders, because he was second in command in engineering.

He heard a report that the aft torpedo launcher was down. It was his job to repair it. He got a team of the engineers who have been on the ship before. Even though he got the chance to be well acquainted with it, He definitely thought it wise to do what he did.

When he got down to the launcher, it was clogged with debris. " Get some phaser drills down here!" he yelled in his gruff voice.

They were in the middle of cutting it out and they were going to launch the metal junk out, hopefully at a ship, when it shifted. "Get out of here! Now!" the way he said it sounded almost desperate. The team knew what was going to happen next. T'Kar used his own phaser so he could be farther away. He cut near the bottom. It didn't shift. It rolled directly toward him. To him, this meant he could get out and launch it. He ran faster than most people thought his stature would allow. His team got the Jefferies tube open just in time. ^=^ T'Kar to bridge try testing it now.^=^ he said out of breath.

U.S.S. Rivendell / Mission 13: "The Heist"
January 21, 2008, 12:15:03 AM
T'Kar moved quickly while he dispatched two gaurds nearly at once with the help of his acute Klingon instincts. They went through one more corridor and found a transporter room.
There were two gaurds and one elite. Mr.Beta killed the gaurds with ease but the elite drew his energy brace in a defensive stance. As Mr.Beta fired upon the elite, T'Kar went behind the elite and stabbed him with his "lucky" ceremonial knife he honorably recieved as a child. Beta finished the elite off now that he could no longer telekinetcally block the shots.
"We shall beam up at your command, sir." said T'Kar to a surprised Beta.

T'Kar got off the Cardinal Virtue almost in a daze. It was his first battle ever and he felt tired and restless. A Gallifreyan walked by him in a corridor and he nearly pulled out his phaser. Then he remembered a saying his father told him: a tired warrior is a clumsy warrior, so he decided to find a quiet spot to sleep.

U.S.S. Rivendell / Mission 13: "The Heist"

T'Kar, not being able to go to the academy, tried to learn more about his expertise. He was not very educated on the transporter device, he was reading a PADD on them. "A standard transporter contains ten main components: the chamber, console, controller, energizing coils, phase transition coils, molecular imaging scanners, pattern buffer, biofilter, emmitter pad array, and targeting scanners." he mumbled.

It was a bad habit, he knew, but he couldn't get over it. When he learned enough to become a transporter expert he decided to train his body too. He started practicing the ancient kingon art of Mok'bara when he was a child, and did it religiously like any Klingon.
After that, he very quietly practiced singing Klingon opera. And right in the middle of a crescendo he felt a shudder. It was too big to be ignored, but he couldn't figure out why. It ended bothering him until he figured it out.
