I would attempt to hail the two ships first. I would like to find out what their intentions are. If they reply with peaceful intentions, I would take diplomatic steps to ensure it remains peaceful.
If, however, they do not respond, I would have our science officer scan the ships for lifeforms and/or weapons systems. If I find their shields or weapons are activated, I would immediately throw up our shields. Then, I would continue to investigate from here.
Finally, if their weapons and shields are online, and I find they are hostile, I would do my best to out manuever them.

Yes sir. I have a report of two ships BEARING 019 MARK 038
and one ship MARK 010 BEARING 258.
The single ship is on an intercept course directly towards us. It appears the other two are still too far away to notice us.

*Cadet Russell bring the ship full around, heading straight at the other ship in an Alpha Series maneuver.*
Okay, i'm heading straight for it. I will jump a short distance in warp speed towards it's left. That way, it wont see me coming until it's too late. It should appear like there are two of us!
*Sean inserts the commands into the control panel and the ship jumps to warp quickly. He then stops it and appears off to the left of the ship.*
It worked! He didn't even see us! Firing full phasers at the shields and engines of the ship!
*Cadet Russell fires the phasers, drawing the other ship by surpise.*

Yes, the other two ships have swung around and are heading directly towars us. From our point of view, they will be surrounding us, on directly to the left and one towards the right.

Aye, sir. Ship to red alert! All personnel man their stations!
*Cadet Russell looks to Agent Davis for approval.*
Alright, there are two ships. Since we are a small ship with limited capabilities and weapons, I want to use the Theta Series manuevers. It will give us the best chance, I think, and will roll us around keeping us from harms way.
*Cadet Russell begins to navigate with the Theta Series manuevers, rolling the ship.*
Blast the one on the left with full phaser power. Once we sweep by the two ships, I'm going to switch to Beta-1 series manuever, hopefully drawing their fire towards each other....

Hello, Agent Davis. Class has been great so far, I appreciate all the help. But let me tell ask you, how did you ever memorize all those security codes? I've been working on those for some time now, and I think i've finally got them down. They're killer.
