Ensign Tigerlead - Hangar Bay, Gallifreyan Battlecruiser
He look around and at his security teamate Ensign Voison... he smiled... "Well we're here now... we should get aboard Avalon Station" saying that he moved to the doors and worked his way through the Gallifreyan ship that looked to him almost like a maze...

Ensign Tigerlead - Radiant Thunder - Bridge

Tigerlead watched as a Heraani Battleship turned towards the USS Amazon. He turned towards the captain's chair
"Lieutenant Stevens, one capital ship and two of it's escorts are heading towards the Amazon!"

T'kar here. I gave you everything i got but i won't guarantee the launchers will be in one peace!

Tigerlead turned to Lieutenant Stevens "Sir i have an idea but i need you to trust me on this"
The lieutenant looked towards the young tactical officer and acknoledged with a slight head movement.

The ensign quickly pressed a few buttons, then turned towards the helmsman and said "Helm, set new course 148 mark 20" the helmsman turned and looked in shock "But... sir that would put us on a colission course with the capital ship" then turned towards the lieutenant in charge. Stevens was as shocked as the others but trusted the instincts of his tactical officer knowing full well he wouldn't be here if he wasn't capable and with a slight gesture he aproved the course corrections.
The helmsman said "New course 148 mark 20, Aye"
Tigerlead looked as the Heraani ship appeared straight ahead then added "Helm, full impulse!" The heraani ship got closer and closer... "Steady as she goes... and hope for the best" the young ensign said as the Radiant Thunder was closing in to the Heraani capital ship. The escort destroyers flanked the capital ship and the Radiant Thunder became the only thing beetween the enemy group and the Amazon that was still recovering personnel.

Tigerlead pressed quickly input some commands, then pressed an intercom button

General Quarters! All hands brace for impact! General Quarters! All hands brace for impact!

Tigerlead watched as the Radiant Thunder was heading at flank speed towards the battleship and thought ~Ok i hope T'kar did a nice job with those torpedoes or we'll go down with them also... now a little bit closer, i set the targets and this should work...~ his thoughts were interupted as he spoken "Full power to frontal shields! Firing the torpedos, maximum yeld, minimum spread!"
A buzzing sound and a slight recoil was felt as the torpedoes left the tube then followed a giant cracking sound as that of a giant earthquake that was aparently tearing the ship apart... but it didn't happen the Radiant Thunder was still in one piece and Tigerlead was watching the torpedos trajectory. The overloaded warheads passed through the shields as if they weren't there and penetrated deep into the capital ship before detonating... the capital ship exploded in a blue-yellow debris wave of contorted metal.
The Radiant Thunder plunged through the debris... and as the helmsman was busy trying to keep the ship in one piece Tigerlead was monitoring the small battlegroup siuation "This is our chance" he yelled over the deafining sounds "the explosion destabilized the escort destroyers shields, firing all phaser banks"
The outcome reminded Tigerlead of the old Earth history with those wooden galleons that were closing to their enemies in broadside battles to fire with their projectile cannons... The Radiant Thunder and the Heraani escort were exacty like that as the Radiant Thunder's phasers were hitting both the destroyers... seconds later both ships were going down in a blaze of burning metal and plasma...
"We're losing the shields... The Amazon is moving off... get us out of here!!!"

Tigerlead, Bridge, The Radiant Thunder
=^= Tigerlead to Security Teams. Report to Engineering and all key locations, escort medical personnel to Enginnering, report all unusual activities! =^=
"Helm. Move us between the Heraani and the USS Iroquois, let's see if we can draw their fire away"
=^= Tigerlead to T'kar. Security teams are on-route, i need more power to weapons and shields, i'll try to overload the phaser arrays also. Tigerlead out. =^=
The Radiant Thunder moved into position shielding the USS Iroquois as best as possible... a torpedo salvo hit the middle of the ship and the alarm sounded...
"We're losing the port side shields... hull breach on deck 3, we are venting atmosphere... security force fields engaged and holding... Helm! Turn us around, 180 degrees turn... firing all weapons!"

Ensign Tigerlead, Bridge - The Radiant Thunder

=^= Tigerlead to T'kar Copy that! =^=

He quickly pressed a few buttons and activated the reverse tractor beam. He was unsure this would work but he did it anyway and continued firing with all guns. Secons later the shockwave announced the ship was destroyed.

=^= Tigerlead to T'kar. Good thinking ensign... it worked like a charm. And good job on the aft. torpedo tube too. Tigerlead out. =^=

The Radiant Thunder turned around to face the Heerani front while Tigerlead was trying to target their ships as best as he could. A five torpedo salvo hit one Heraani destroyer near it's core an the ship broke in half and exploded taking at least a two dozen small fighter to their doom.

=^= Tigerlead to T'kar. We're not doing much... Think we can overload the torpedo warheads? And no i don't care how stable they'll be as long as they don't blow us to oblivion and make a dent in those capital ships! =^=

Tigerlead looked around the bridge of the Radiant Thunder... ppl were busy doing their jobs and he felt as he was left out so he thought to himself ~ This is probably not the best thing to do with an acting commodore of the joined fleet but what in the world i won't sit here doing nothing...~ so he said:
Captain Taurik, Ensign Tigerlead requesting permission to man the Tactical Station, sir!

IC: Ensign Tigerlead - Aboard Avalon Station
Tigerlead was happy he managed his way out of the battlecruiser and onto AValon Station and he was cruising around trying to find his CO... Suddently he heard Captain Taurik's message and thought to himself... ~ Just great as soon as i manage to get aboard the station i need to get aboard a ship... oh well it's not all bad at least i got a ship to serve on http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> ~ he called up the computer and asked for direction to the Radiant Thunder, following the direction Tigerlead made his way around the station and onto the new ship... he walked to the bridge and faced Captain Taurik and said: "Ensign Tigerlead reporting as ordered, sir!"

OFF Thanks for the explanations so i do have a chance http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'> i'll probably end on an Excelsior class ship http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'> Another question i am sorry there are so many but i am new, do ppl decide for themselves what happens or there someone that decides for them meaning if i am on tactical station and i shoot at a ship can i say i destroyed their main weapons array or someone else (like a narrator) says the outcome? /OFF

OFF I have nothing against Star Wars / Stargate and the like, i actually am a fan of those too, i just thought it was against the rules so that's why i asked. "Aye Captain" said Tigerlead stepping away from the tactical console and moving towards the turbolift, he couldn't avoid the feeling that something was "wrong" ~Either this Captain likes to do everything himself or doesn't trust his own crew even if i am new here or... i was not supposed to see something~ thought the young ensign to himself, he was in the turbolift when the commander's ship wide alert sounded. "Halt turbolift" he said to the computer then continued "Main armory". He exited the turbolift and went to the armory to pick up a Type III Phaser Rifle, with the rifle in hands he started making deck by deck sweeps. http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/biggrin.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':D'>

Tigerlead looks at the holographic projection and smiles. "It's nice to meet you sir, i will report to the bridge imediately"
Then smiles towards his security mate and salutes both and exists the Security Office and walks eagerly to the turbolift. He enters the turbolift and reajusts his uniform and insignia then says "Main Bridge" and the turbolift plunged upwards towards the desired deck. The doors opened and Tigerlead saw himself for the first time on the Rivendell's bridge... it was amazing... quicky dispatching  his feelings he turned to the tactical station and said "Ensign Tigerlead reporting for tactical duty as ordered"
