Johnathan finished eating and picked up the glass.

"Never had the stuff, guess I can try it...." he said as he started to drink it.

"Hey now this is good."

A young officer walked into the restaurant and sat down at a table.

"Excuse me.  I'd like to see a menu if you don't mind." he said.  After a few minutes looking at it he got tired.

"Just bring me something.  I don't care what it is." he said.

Johnathan looks down at his plate.

"Looks good," he said "thank you."

Johnathan picked up his fork and starts to eat.

Johnathan walked to the transporter room of the starbase.

"Beam me over to the Evolution please," he said to the transporter chief.

"Can I see your orders?" the transporter chief said.

"Yeah yeah just make it fast, I'd like to see what kinda shape she is in," Johnathan said as he handed the chief a PADD.

"Everything is in order sir.  Have fun, I hear that something is going on over there," the chief warned Johnathan.

"Oh, I will, go ahead," Johnathan said and was demateralized and reappeared in the transporter room of the Evolution.

"Where is the captain?  I'd like to talk to him," Johnathan said to a youn Lt.

"I'm not sure sir, would you like me to find out?" the Lt. said.

"No, no I'll find him myself," Johnathan said and left the transporter room in search of Captain Sanchez.

Lt. Commander Aymer reporting in as Cheif Engineer.

"Well, I've always wanted to see the Delta quadrant.  Ever since I first heard of what it was like, I was facinated.  It's a completely new frontier to explore," Johnathan stopped for a moment then continued

"I've always been excited by going places that no one knows about.  There was this one time, I climbed this mountian.  There was this cave that wasn't on any maps.  When I went in it, I found what looked like an old burial ground.  Scared the crap out of me," Johnathan told Randall.

"Captain......what made you want to join Starfleet?" Johnathan asked.

Johnathan looked to Alissa.

"Sure," he said as he looked back to Randall.

"Thats cool, I joined for a couple of reasons.  Sure I wanted to explore the stars, but it's more than just that.  I feel this is where I belong.  I feel like I was supposed to be here my entire life.   You know what I mean?" Johnathan said.

The waiter came back with the food and set it down infront of the two men then faced Alissa.

"What can I get ya?" the waiter asked.

Johnathan and Randall reached Ten Forward and took a seat.

"Thanks for joining me for joining me sir," Johnathan said.  "I'm quite excited.  This is my first mission in the Delta quadrant ya know," Johnathan told Randall.

"Is that so?" Randall said as the waiter walked up.

"Can I take your orders?" the waiter asked.

"Yeah, I'll have some alfredo pasta, with red wine," Johnathan said.

"And you sir?" the waiter asked Randall.

Johnathan hit a command on a console in engineering.

"This is engineering captain, all systems are ready to go.  Warp drive will be online in ten minutes," he told the captain over the comms.

"Thank you Mr. Aymer," said Sanchez.

Johnathan walked onto the bridge.

"Captain, everything is ready in engineering," he told Sanchez.

"Thanks, but why not just contact me the normal way?" Sanchez asked.

"I thought you'd like to know personally, now if you don't mind, I think I'll head to get some food, care to join me captain?" Johnathan asked.
