"If we were to reinfore these walls, I would recommend reinforing them with duranium. This would make it more difficult to scan through the walls, and it is a very strong alloy. I guess reinforcing all the outside walls of this building, would take about two to three weeks."

"I don't know how much duranium we can get in two days, and I'm not even sure if we can get it somewhere nearby Dantor."

*As they reached the locked door, Braxton take a close look at it*

"Aha, hmmm, interesting... It is obvious that this is quite an old base, the locking systems are not very sophisticated. This is a simple electronic kind of lock. All I need to do, is bypass the security encryption..."

*Braxton grabbed his tricorder and started to feverishly push buttons on it*

"... and password protocols..."

*he pushed the buttons and switches even faster*

"...and then, push this little button."

*He pushes a small red button on the lock, and the door slid open.*

"There it is, piece of cake. After you, miss."

*and Braxton followed Kassie into the next room*

"Agreed."

*The group of people entered the enormous building*

"Well, I would say that we locate Main Ops as deep in the center of the building as possible, because that's one of the most critical parts of the base. Because of the power distribution, I think it's wise to also put engineering on a central location, and, if possible, underground. Since we will probably be extracting energy from the planet's core, that's the most logical choice. Now, the other more or less critical departments like medical, science, tac/sec can be located around Ops, and, together with living quarters, et cetera on the other levels of the base. How do you guys feel about that?"

*Joe walked over to the left side of the room, where the stasis pods were lying. He wiped the dust off of one of them with his right sleeve and looked inside.*

"Well, they seem to contain 'people'. I'm not sure which race they're from though."

*Joe walked around one of the pods and wiped away some more dust*

"Let's see if they're still online and working."

*He pushed some buttons, and the pod came to life: the light inside the pod went on and the lid opened.*

*Braxton got out of the Pelican, feeling kind of sick, and ran straight to one of the trees nearby (OOC:don't know if there are any trees, but who cares http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'>). After a few minutes he returned to the others.*

"What were you saying again, Kassie? First check out the building? I agree! As long as I don't have to go in that Pelican again with that terrible wannabe-pilot gunnery sergeant!"

*After a rather bumpy, but for the rest troubleless, ride, the five of them arrived on Dantor, at the Shuttle Platform of Starphoenix Base. They stepped out of the Flyer, and headed for Main Operations to see which commanding officers are present.*

"Oh my GOD!!! What are they? RUN!!!"

*Joe and Kassie turned around and started running to the door they came in through. Joe pulled Kassie by her hand. The droids were speeding up and closing in on them. They were only 15 meters from the door...*

"We have to hurry! Faster, or we'll get caught!"

*They ran, and they ran... The droids were moving closer, and closer... 10 meters from the door... 5 meters...and then they jumped through the open door, and Joe slammed it shut behind them. He pulled Kassie throught the second open door and after slamming that one shut as well, he brought the electronic lock online again.*

"Phew, that was close!"

*They sat on the floor, gasping for breath, glad that they made it out in one piece*

*Braxton was right behind Kassie as they returned to the base after being called back by Julian. Right after the two of them arrived, a group -apparently- starfleet officers materialized right next to the group of people. Braxton stepped back a bit*

"Hmm..."

*Braxton walks closer to the walls to examine them*

"They seem to be made out of tritanium. However, I am not sure. What is your opinion?"

"I think we should definitely do that. And we should leave our security escort here, I guess."

*So Joe and Kassie headed back to the exit of the building where they met Julian again. Together, they returned to the Marines Main Ops.*

Lt. Commander Wallace, I thought you were the Chief Medical Officer. Shouldn't you be in in sickbay? It looks like you're playing all positions on the bridge. Sorry to say so, but if you give us the chance, we can participate in this mission as well.

*Braxton looks quite puzzled at the Colonel's smirks and smiles, but then puts his face back into its normal position*

"It wasn't our intention to sneak up on you, sir. By the way, I believe our arrival had been announced prior to it. But that all doesn't matter. The reason why we are here is, I believe you heard about it, to investigate the location where we are to build our permanent base on Dantor, at the southside of the city of Starphoenix. Before we will be heading to the location, we decided to drop by here, and to request a team to escort us around the area, since we are not very familiar here, sir."

*He turned to face Kassie*

"Do you have anything to add, ensign?"
