Yes I know, seeing that was Chief Science Officer with the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

This is the Command Structure for further advancement by sections.

1. Command
2. Science/Medical
3. Security/Tactical
4.Engineering
5.Non Commissioned

1 and 2 are closely related and more likely to have their own command some day.
3 and 4 can achieve their own command when they go for the bridge-command exam.
5 hasn't got a hope in hell of achieving there own command until they go to Starfleet Command.

In true Naval tradition of which Starfleet follows, one of the jobs of the Executive Officer is to assign new crew members to their appropriate departments.

This process is simple, all new crew are to sign in here with their desired position. Currently there are many positions available and only some that aren't.

Good question, with a simple answer.

Yes there are currently three Jedi characters from the Andromeda Galaxy, where Star Wars is set. If this is a problem, I apologize and suggest you go to a different vessel. If this is not a problem, then I hope you enjoy the fun to be had.

Star Wars being in Star Trek is actually canon.

All series and movies are considered canon and in that regard Star Trek fans, such as myself, which I am also a Star Wars fan, should consider the two galaxies to be in the same universe.
In the movie Star Trek: First Contact, the Millennium Falcon, can be seen just as the Borg Cube explodes.

As for your orders, goto the current mission thread for actual roleplaying.

A new mission will be starting soon, but that does not mean you cannot go to the last mission thread and post, so please do and introduce yourself to the crew. The Captain and myself are currently in engineering.

OFF I have nothing against Star Wars / Stargate and the like, i actually am a fan of those too, i just thought it was against the rules so that's why i asked.
