T'lana stayed at the Science Stations and ran the usual electromagnetic sensor sweeps, but not much was showing up on any EM frequency.
The reason why they couldn't find the Evolution was alluding her, but spacetime very rarely allowed for quick access to anything.
The universe was a hostile environment that most Warp Capable species take for granted, but anything could cause distortions in sensors and even the vessels themselves.

Space, or as it is better know as spacetime, is not a void and definitely not empty and calling it a vacuum is also incorrect.

Matter and Energy, Dark Matter and Dark Energy, subatomic particles and dense gravitational fields course throughout all of spacetime.
Blackholes beget Whiteholes and on the quantum level more space exists, even to the point of quantum wormholes, subatomic folds in the spacetime continuum.

As any good physicist knows, there are four main forces in the universe: Gravity, electromagnetism, Strong Nuclear and Weak Nuclear; but if could explain the relationship between gravity and the three other forces then you would have the Unified Field Theory and go down in history as the smartest person in the universe.

Deeper than the quantum level, the vary foundations of the universe (or multiverse), you have strings and superstrings. But what are strings? Strings are vibrating strands of energy, that each resonate at a different frequency, together they create a symphony of life the universe and everything.

So the universe or multiverse we call home and the space in between is far from empty, even spacetime is not the limit nor wonder of the creation.
According to Quantum Physics there are 10 to 11 Dimensions that make up the universe, most life as we know it lives in 3 Dimensions, that is length width and depth. But just below the surface of that 3D world is the 4th: Time. Time influences what occurs in 3D so much so that it is one, creating the 4 Dimensional spacetime.
Below spacetime exists the 5th dimension, most species in the galaxy call this subspace, where space, spacetime and the fifth dimension intersect.
Above spacetime we have the higher-dimensions from 6D to 10D or even 11D, with this higher-dimensional realm being called Hyperspace, which literally means: Beyond Space.

So T'lana and any other Science Officer, has the job of determining what is what, in an infinite environment of infinite possibilities, which is what T'lana was doing right now.
Trying to determine why the Evolution could not be found and where the hell they were in the this endless universe anyway.

"captain i have analised our last attack on the herrani vessal, it wasnt my error or the torpedoes .
some how the heranni programed the targting computer on the torpedos to recognise us as thier intended targets.
i think that flash before the hit had something to do with it also sir for a brief second the torpedos occupied space and time in two differant places.
as the telemetry also showed a two hour differance in time from when they were supposed to strike the herrani vessel and the time when i noticed they have changed tragectory. thats impossable.
ive ran everything through the computer 4 times and what i have reported come out always the same."

"Greeting Sagittarii, I am Morgan Freeman, it is a pleasure to meet you." Morgan said after a quick pass at his surroundings, after all, you can't blame an engineer for looking around a computer core.

"Initiating docking....Docking clamps sealed, and vessel secure. Powering down engines." Sarpedon said, manoeuvring the vessel into Avalon station and docking in the berth next to the USS Rivendell.

"If you would excuse me, I will return to the Rivendell and get some rest before doing the engine checks on her. It's been a while since I last slept." he said, leaving the Bridge and heading for the airlock.

"Well, fair enough. But like the Captain said, we don't really need all his negative comments directed at the crew."

It was T'lana's turn to introduce herself.

"I am T'lana from the planet Vulcan, in the words of my people *Vulcan Salute* Live long and prosper."

Sagittarii: "You honor me with your introductions, I am Captain  Sagittarii of the Argosy High Guard Special operations. I suppose you would like to know why there is a  secret base in your galaxy, let me make this perfectly clear. We do not know who to contact first in this galaxy, to become members of our Systems Commonwealth,  the whole galaxy has to be in agreement. But, having said that,  what I have seen of your United Federation of Planets, you are the most logical choice thus far. I would love  to see that happen, but we are a  patient people, thoughts?"

T'lana piloted the Slipfighter into the portal, setting the MPDD to match the capable speed of the Kelata.

Following the cord to Avalon and swapping at a decision point for the right path, the Slipfighter returned to normal space as T'lana opened an exit portal. Making sure the Exotic Matter lens kept the exit portal open.

Computer: Attention, Avalon Station's power systems are not functional, docking will not be possible.

T'lana looked at the sensors and noticed that the biometric readout displayed someone in reactor room, but there were other indiscernible biometric readings as well.

"Morgan, it appears that Taurik has made it to the reactor room, but he is not alone, as far as I can tell there are 6 other lifeforms present. Please expedite your work on the hatch."
