Larial lowered her head to think, just as her subprocessor gave her a message.

Larial looked at her creator a little fear on her face, she ran out of the Celtic Corner.
The excess use of power was too much for Larial's Fusion Core, which cooled and shut down.
Larial collapsed onto the deck of the habitat, 50 feet from the Celtic Corner...offline.

[Morgan Freeman]

Hearing Larial report a successful restart calmed Morgans nerves.  "Don't worry, your power systems are all normal and you should be able to begin recharging yourself.  Is there anything that you would like to do?"

[Larial]

Larial looked excitedly at the beautiful Vulcan that walked into the Shuttle and gave her a hug.

"Is this my mother, Morgan?"

[Larial]

Larial turned to Morgan with a definite more adult demeanor.

"I am fine thank you Morgan, my Neural Net went into stand-by mode simply to replicate more pathways to accommodate the extra information."

Larial moved closer to Morgan and held his hand.

"You worry too much father, all systems are currently functioning within normal parameters."

Larial moved off and sat back down on the seat, crossing her legs as she did so.

"Thanks to T'lana, I am more like a grown woman now, albeit a synthetic one, but a woman none the less."

[Morgan Freeman]

"Hello Larial, please run a diagnosis of your positronic network. Report memory function capacity."

[Morgan Freeman]

"Nothing is wrong with you.  I need you to do one more test for me.  Please test your motor reflexes and tell me the results."

[Larial]

Larial smiled, her recently activated Positronic Neural Net could not calculate why she smiled, but she did.

"Thank you Morgan."

Larial thought of a place she wanted to go, she had detailed files on Avalon and every Star Fleet vessel assigned there, but that didn't make a decision any easier.

"I would like to scan the Celtic Corner please."

"Your purpose is to exist my dear girl, and you can do whatever you want to do.  You have the ability to do anything you want to do.  I would imagine that a great many people will want to know about you.  Perhaps you should go to the academy and visit there.  See if starfleet interests you."

[Larial]

Larial had regained her cognitive functions, but there still wasn't enough power for a full systems reboot.

"Th-Thank you Morgan."

[Larial]

"My power supply is almost at 100%, as for what I would like to do."

Larial thought for a moment, well a second anyway.

"I am your's to command, Morgan."

[Larial]

Larial accessed human inter-personal relationships in her reference datafiles and decided to give Morgan a hug.

"I am fine with that Morgan, it means I am a lifeform rather than just a tool."

Larial released Morgan and sat down in the nearest bioform chair.

"Thank you for repairing me."

[T'lana]

T'lana walked into Morgan's shuttle and noticed him with a young blonde woman, she raised her eyebrow and stated.

"Na'Shaya Morgan, if you are busy I shall come back another time?"

[T'lana]

T'lana stepped back and looked the Android up and down...

"Interesting."

[Morgan Freeman]

"Thank you T'lana" Morgan said as he turned to Larial "How do you feel my dear girl?" he asked concerned.
