*The Engineering stations were a mass of alarms.  Sparks were shooting from the panels as Ensigns Mann and Kassie tried to keep control of things*

*Mann turns to Kassie*

"Kassie, I don't know how much of that message the Fleet Captain got, but I think we will need at least 2 hours to repair this overload then return to warp.  I am going to the Jeffries Tube Junction C-47 to install this new synch relay, it should allow us to rebuild the shield intensity."

[Morgan Freeman]

Freeman walks up the to the admiral and Captain Archer

"Thruster packs are working fine on the station and the tractor / SIF enhancements are working fine.  All we need to do is bypass the main shield grid entirely, then it won't keep overloading and we can be on our way.  Also, I recommend shutting down all non essental systems."

[Morgan Freeman]

Freeman finished running the diagonstic that Archer ordered.  

"Sir, the safety sistem kicked in due to a momentary drop in the SIF power system.  It dropped 115% past safety's.   It was due to the power transfer.  I have corrected the problem and we are fine to proceed to Dantor."

we got a Lot of work to Do Sir we got to totaly re program the Entire network the Formluas I have Iam basing them off the Windsor so the Station can withside the Streeses of Warp Travel on the Windsor during Emerencey Warp the Ship Travels Warp 9.999 for 7 Hours max so usign that we can have the Station withstand the Strees of Warp 4 without Degrading

"Sorry for the delay Sir.  My calibrations took longer than expected.  It seems past attacks on the station left the shield generators in worse shape than I anticipated."

"Anyways, I am ready to help get the station ready"

*Mann glances over to Kassie*

"Hello Ensign, I am Ensign Gunn Mann"

[Eugene Archer]

*While Ensigns Mann and Kassie were busy preparing and working at consoles, Archer walked around engineering a bit, left engineering for ops occasionally, but he also had to think about his duties at the academy. Luckily, it is not a busy time at the academy, so that he could put all of his effort into moving the station.
After having worked at an engineering console for about half an hour, he stood up and walked directly to where Mann was working*

"I've done some mathematics myself, and I've calculated that at warp 4, without having to drop out of warp to repair the shields, the journey will take about 10 hours. That, however, would not be realistic because of the necessary stops we have to make regularly to reinforce the shields. We should also take into account that there are some assisting vessels that have to move at exactly the same speed. I reckon, that when you take all this into account, we should be able to get the station to Dantor in about 14 hours."

[Gunn Mann]

"Well the shield generator monitoring station is up and running and showing green status"

*Turns to Ensign Kassie*

"I just wanted to say Ensign Kassie that I thought you calculations were brilliant"

IC: *Mann listens to Ensign Kassie's story keeping one eye on the console and always watching her out of the corner of his other eye.  Mann noted her smiles coming refreshingly across her face*

"Very interesting story Ensign Kassie.  And no I do not think you were rambling.  My story is not quite that interesting.  I ran frieght back in the Alpha quadrant for awhile and wanted more of a challenge.  Always being attracted to Star Fleet I thought what the heck, come out to the Delta Quadrant and join up."

"I suppose I will find my way once this mission is over, I will consider joining the Rivendell you make it sound like a fine ship."

*Mann brings up Ensign Kassie's calculations on the view screen*

"Aye, 50%, brilliant once more, that gives sufficient safety margin to drop the station out of warp yet give us the maximum amount of time at warp.  A wonderful combination of safety and efficiency."

"You know, you're the first Vulcan I have ever seen smile, I must say it suits you very nicely."

*With a quick smile Mann went back to monitoring the shield generators*

[Morgan Freeman]

Freeman, having felt the problems with the station walks into engineering.

"Report Ensign"

"Good work, both of you. I'm also glad that you're back on duty so soon, Mann.

=^=Archer to Julian. I'm down in engineering, repairs are progressing rapidly and we are ready to jump to warp again in less than an hour. I will return to the Lhasa in 15 minutes.=^=

*Archer was walking towards the exit, but before he left, he turned around*

"Keep me informed of everything that's going on here. And be careful when going out on your own."

*And with that, he left engineering*

[Kassie]

"Have no idea, Morgan.  Its like the entire station threw itself out of warp on it own.  Maybe the AI did it.  Or perhaps some failsafe went off, but I dont understand.  Mann, stay put.  We need to figure out whats going on here."

[Kassie]

OOC**I alredy had the non-essential systems offline and such, but okie.

IC**

"Sir, the boards show green, I dont understand it.  Unless, nooo that cant be it, its impossible."

"Sir, it seems the Safety systems kicked in, but whats more puzzling it seems the Safety system either kicked in because it detected something wrong, or it kicked in cuz it detected an unknown virus in the stations systems, which forced us out of the warp field to prevent the station from exploding, Sir."

[Eugene Archer]

"Excellent work, commander."

*Archer gave commander Freeman a pat on the shoulder, and then turned to Julian*

"Admiral, as you heard, we are ready to continue. We will reach Dantor in approximately four and a half hour, at a speed of Warp 4. I will return to the Lhasa now, and I will see you all once we've arrived at Dantor."

*Turns around and walks out of Engineering. Once aboard the Lhasa, he calls all vessels:*

=^=This is Fleet Captain Archer. We are ready for our final run to Dantor. Please go to your stations and get ready for warp-speed. We will leave in five minutes from now.=^=

[Eugene Archer]

"You're doing a great job, crewman. I'm impressed. If you are absolutely sure that we can keep the structural integrity of the station at a high enough level, I'm fine with moving the station at warp. Could you give an indication on how long it would take to make the journey to Dantor at warp 4? I have to get back to the academy in a minute, for a day or so, but I'll stop by Admiral Julian to inform him on the mission status. Can I tell him that we will probably be ready in three days from now?"
