Mission 1: "The Fallen One"

[Kelli Lauren]

(OFF: Yeah, it's a dream of her time in the Dominion War.)

U.S.S. Riyadh, Federation/Cardassian Border

"Let's get out of here! The ship's about to fall apart!"

"I'm going, I'm going!" Kelli yelled back. "I'm gonna blow through the bay door, hold on!"

She fired a pair of torpedoes at the large bay door while ramming the shuttle through it, sufficiently decimating the door to allow the ship to exit. Not a split second before the shuttle got out of the door, the Riyadh began to erupt in flame. Relying on every bit of her piloting training from the Academy, she reconfigured the warp field and jumped to warp just before the ship's warp core collapsed.

Both Kelli and Bryan gave sighs of relief. They had, luckily, escaped the implosion of the warp core, but many of their friends and coworkers, regrettably, did not. They both sat back and rested while the ship's autopilot took them toward Deep Space Nine.

"If I had a bar of gold pressed latinum for each time I have heard those words, I would not be here".

[Raszagal]

"You're looking at it so three-dimensionally. There is no hierarchy to the Na'jigat. They simply exist, as if they were one being. As for the Heraan, let me do you a favor by keeping you away from them. You've got nothing to offer them, they would kill you before they would even consider accepting your assistance.

[Spock]

"Let me get this straight, Ensign.  You forced the captain to comply to a promise that you yourself made on the ships behalf for information and in exchange releasing her from the brig?, YOU had no authority to offer such a deal or forcing the Captain into this situation.  You had no authority to offer anything.  You were told to gather information, not to make deals and forcing your commanding officers into a position of making due on a promise of release when you yourself made the promise.  We dont need to adhere to your promise because we never agreed to it.  You agreed to it, not us.  I wont have her wandering this ship as she pleases causing harm to the ship I have to keep in order."

[Kelli Lauren]

"I called you a ratchethead. Whoop-dee-doo. I think I'll decide whether or not he needs discipline, as I am the security chief, after all. I don't need you tossing him into the manifolds to do your dirty work, that's what your own engineers are for. And I definitely don't appreciate you telling me how to do my job, insisting I am not doing it, or threatening me with legal action. I am your superior, whether you like it or not, and you will respect it until, like now, I give you temporary permission to disregard it. Unless I give you that right, you have no place talking back, no matter what I say to you."

[Morga Harf]

"Yes, Im in charge here.  Consider yourself introduced.  Im Lt. Cmdr, Spock.  Cheif Engineer aboard this ship." he told Oak showing no emotions.

"'Astrological stuff'. See, this is why I love humans."

[Randall Sanchez]

"The problem is that we don't have the technology to enter actual quantum singularities either... it would destroy our ships instantly. But what we could do, is travel to the edge of the singularity network and try making scans from there, although they will only work partially, I suspect."

[Randall Sanchez]

"L... land the ship itself on the planet? We've never tried landing the ship before on a class M planet, let alone one with a molten surface... are you sure this is a wise idea?"

[Techerakh]

"If you believe this, then you truly are lost."

Techerakh removed his khala from his belt, and held it in his hand. "Though it pains me greatly, I will do what I must."

Ghemor checked the console.
"Roughly thirty more minutes until we are clear".

Ah High Chancellor Martok. A noble warrior. He would not have accepted your misconduct without Challenge. He pulled his way up from a lowly family and eventually with the help of Ambassidor Worf Formerly of both Deep space Nine and the Uss Enterpirse. Also Good Friend of mine. "Im the Chief Engineer of this ship and one of many who can make command descisions.  You better remember your place, Ensign.  Making descisions on the part of this crew isnt wise for a newcomer."

"I suggest we keep her locked up sense shes obviously a danger to everyone."
