"Your Majesty, it is true that our laws define that we should preserve life whenever we can. All I would like to plead for, is to 'upgrade' the Droid named HK47, for his own protection as well as the protection of those around him. He should be upgraded into a diplomatic Droid, rather than a defense Droid, so that his missions will be peaceful. That way we will preserve his life, and make sure that the lives of others are preserved too."

If the High council wishes to remove most of his weapons then you should do so..........but I must ask that you cannot under any circumstances sell the weapon systems...............I do not believe that would be the wisest of decisions...........Because those weapon systems can be turned around............and If the Borg got ahold of them.........that would be worse of destruction..............

*speaks to HK47 for a minute before proceeding*

*turns to the council again*

HK47 has requested that if you decide to remove the majority of his weapon systems.............That you allow them to remain under lock and key on the Evolution in one of our security offices.........As a ship and Ships are known to be boarded................

HK47 wants to make sure they he can arm himself ONLY! when its most dire..........But other then that...........allow him to keep what knowledge he has........and to allow him to keep his protective shields and phaser banks.........But the rest of his sytems will be under lock and key on the evolution and only 3 people will have access to them on the ship...........Would this be agreeable with the High council ?...........

And yes There was a android bye the name of "Data" on the enterprise..........But android and a droid are 2 different things..............

Also.........With the councils permission once when this trial is over with I ask that I have access to your Data banks..........So I may better understand how to maintain a droids needs.............?

And on a side note................HK47 has his own room........Actually its a room converted into a power station for him..............I am hoping he puts it to good use..................

Also I ask that if you strip HK47 of the majority of his armor and weapons.......I ask that you add an additional and more efficient power supply............his Intelligence to modify a starfleet ship and throw it into a catapult effect seems to take a toll on his sytems and well.........he shuts down if he does 2 of them in a row.......so would it be possible for some of his NON-COMBATANT equipment be upgraded ?.........so his power flows more efficiently and he doesnt burn out..........

So Ill break it down to where everyone understands

Strip Majority of weapons
Add new non combat tech
Keep Shields
keep Phaser banks
Add new subroutines (moral and Abassadorial)

And to keep his weapon systems in locked boxes aboard the Evolution and only have access to them only when he has the permission of the Captian......
AND! to keep his humanoid transporter on him........he has his reasont to request to keep his transporter function

Also HK47 Wants to keep his Ship mode intact and his ship mode ""Weapons, engines, shields, mini transporter........And all functions he needs.....he wants to keep..........Hes rarely in ship mode but he feels safer if he could keep his ((Ship mode Function))

And that should be it...........

Also Tash........Your droid here is also the ships pilot...........I thought you would like to know what place your droid has aboard the Evolution.............

So far Sanchez has been very nice to HK47......even tho he is different and he did go on a power benge........I think hes getting over that...............

I think most of the Ambassadors here are correct......all except for the greedy one who only wants profit..........and I think that Sanchez wouldnt mind having avelsa stay on ship to look after HK47.........But I cant allow a code to over see HK47s well being........Thats like putting HK47 into slavery........he'll keep looking over his shoulder and watching Avelsa.........I cant condone this action...........But I may have another suggestion you could consider.........

You may leave HK47 as he is just have Tash add new subroutines.........like Moral subroutines..........if you take away his defense Capabilities then what will happen if sanchez gets fired upon on a mission ?..........HK47 wouldnt beable to protect Sanchez if he got captured............I cant condone you rewritting his entire subroutine just to make sure one lil malfunction doesnt happen again..........

If you do that youll be destroying the very purpose and in a way HK47s soul..........if you do that.............I ask that you allow him to have new subroutines added and let him stay as he is aboard the evolution...............

Your majesty.........Your main purpose for sending HK47 to help with Dantor then have him stationed on the Evolution was to protect Captian Sanchez..........If you go and do what pax suggests your just killing him again..........

Believe it or not HK47 has friends aboard the evolution and on many occassions he has saved the ship from destruction from the Nigjat..........If you take away his very soul for protecting the ship and its captian then you take away a living being..........and we are here to preserve that........

Add moral subroutines and also add Diplomatic and ambassadorial subroutines but leave his defense programming intact.........and leave his knowledge of what he knows about starfleet intact as well........Dont take away his very being..............youll be killing a life instead of trying to save it.............I Implore you your majesty..........Allow me and Tash to take care of this problem..........let us fix him without destroying his very nature to protect life...........
