Life aboard Vontak Nor

[KHa Var]

*Once permission to dock was recieved the Kahless proceeds to pylon 2.  Once the ship compleated docking, KHa'var and Vorak make their way to the stations control center.*

[Marcet]

*Marcet and his staff had just finished their weekly meeting and everyone was leaving the conference room. The only one that stayed behind was his Second Officer. He told Marcet about the sudden activity in the Loxian Camp. Ships were loading a lot of material and tactical drills were executed around the station. It seemed they were preparing for something.*

"Thank you for this information, I will adress the Loxian Exiles representative"


*His XO nodded to him and left the room*

"I don't mean to disturb any work but I want discuss some matters with you, is this possible?"

[Randall Sanchez]

"My officers are free to come with us to the planetarium, or go elsewhere, if they like. Lead the way, please."
*Nods at Lauren and HK47 to indicate they are free to go where they like on the station.*

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez looks up in surprise, rubbing his head still.*
"Well, this... meeting, was quite... unusual. I had already decided to leave out a few... details, out of my report for Starfleet. So I'm sure that a detail more won't hurt."
*Sanchez smiles.*
"You have my word. So what is it that troubles you?"

[Roland Burma]

*Burma carefully enters Zayan's quarters.*
"Thank you, General. With all respect, you do look like you've been sleeping for days indeed. I hope you feel well now."
*Then he takes a padd out of his robe, and shows it to her. It shows a picture of what seems to be an ancient scroll with text, in a similar form as the ones that decorate his robe.*
"This is what I came to talk to you about. I have discovered information about the Ancient Scrolls of the Prophecies of Loxius. These are pictures of what should be the original scrolls, written a 1000 years ago. There is also a translation available of what the scrolls say."
*He checks the padd to look up the translation.*
"If the Empire of Loxius, driven by lust for war and destruction,
should reject the ways of Tazay,
She shall dim the light,
and turn herself into cold stone.
The shadow of darkness shall divide the people,
and the wrath of the Stone Goddess shall last for three centuries.
Those who reject Tazay, shall live in oppression,
and those who do not, shall find the embrace of the Stone Goddess,
until the time has come, for the Stone goddess to forgive Her Children.
From the stars She shall send the redeemer,
he who shall lead Her Children to the Old Ways of Tazay again.
The Empire shall be reunited,
and the times of penace shall end,
and after the redeemer of the Goddess has returned to the stars,
the result of the union of the Realm of Land and Stars,
shall bring forth a great leader,
who shall bring his people into th e Golden Age of Enlightment...."
*He lowers the padd as he looks at Tazay.*
"Do you see how... how... similar it is to all the things that have been happening? I mean, I never pictured myself as the Messiah, or the Redeemer of the Loxian people, but everything makes sense! For example, look at the first lines: 'she shall dim the light'. Three centuries ago, our sun was destroyed during a war. And 'the shadow of darkness shall divide the people', meaning the Government and the Exiles, and it has lasted for three centuries now indeed. The people on our homeworld have rejected the Goddess Tazay indeed, and they are oppressed by the Government, and 'those who do not, shall find the embrace of the Stone Goddess'. Look outside, the asteroid field where the Loxian Exiles have lived for generations! They have survived there, despite all the efforts of the Government to exterminate them. And then the scrolls say that the Stone Goddess would send a redeemer from the stars, meaning someone from outer space, an alien. To you and your people, I am an alien species, despite my title of Messiah."
*He switches off his padd and takes a deep breath.*
"The prophecies have come true. We are three centuries later now, and many changes are about to happen. If these scrolls are speaking truth about their further prophecies, then the Loxian empire will reunite indeed. But one thing I do not fully understand yet. The scrolls say that 'after the Redeemer of the Goddess has returned to the stars', meaning after I have died, the result of the realms of land and stars bring forth a great leader. What I understand from it, is that someone from the Loxian people, will have a child with an alien, and this child will be a great leader to the Loxian people. Do you have any idea what this may mean?"

"Permision granted.  Welcome aboard the Va'jux. I was begining to think that I would be going solo on this trip to Avalon station.  Gul Drnok, would your companions happen to have names as well?  I don't remember seeing any of you before, but I have been kept busy and have yet to meet the newcomers.  Now if you are ready, take your stations."

*Zayan reenters the va'jux, followed by her small crew.*

*Several days have passed since Zayan returned to Vontak Nor.  The danger of her medical condition past Zayan is released from the doctor's care.  She goes to her quarters and reads over some reports from when she was there last.  A more recent report catches her attention.*

~Intelegence Report on Loxius~

The underground movement against the Loxian Government has been a sucess.  Thanks to the Governments defeat and near anihalation of its fleet in their last battle with StarFleet, the People have become more daring and willing to organize against the Government.  Preperations for revolt and overthrow of the Government have been increased.   Participants of the movement await the return of the Exiles to signal the start of the revolt.  The People are ready to act at the first indication.  Some Loxians not involved with the movement have begun to defy the Government.  Government Collectors have been chased out of villages severly injured and without Loxian children to add to their ranks.

*Zayan can not believe it.  This is the time they have been waiting for.  She opens a comm.*

Prepair all available ships for combat and prepair your crews.  The day of retribution is upon us!  The Loxian Government will fall before us!

*Zayan gets up to go prepair her own ship for combat, when she notices a minor report stating that Space Station Avalon was attacked.  No information of survivors is known.  She looks down at her blooming pregnancy and says a silent prayer for Sanchez.*

"I will fight for our lives and for our home.  I do not want you to be born as an exile from your true home."

*She continues on to see to the preperations for the comming revolt.*
