Mission 1: "Refitting"

Looking a little non plussed as the Lieutenant Nesbitt saluted but returned it. It is okay Lietentant. The Navy responded very differently to the marines when it comes to respecting Officer. We don't go around ripping peoples Arms off and beating them with the bloody end. We find that the reason behind that is that there are a few terribly important blood vessels back there that can mave a man bleed to death fairly quickly.  But I am Sure you already knew that. I it good to see that the Marine even acknowledge a Navy Officer.

A few Moments later I was on board.

Computer could you let Lt General Powell Know that I am hear and at his earliest convience set up a meeting with him.
With that I took my precious few momentos of life on the Evolution and took quarters that were of a newly Configured Executive Officer Housing Unit. They had a an Office that could take the business meetings that the First Officer Had to deal with away from the bridge. Behind that was the main personel space.

Here I unpacked my stuff on the seond most roomy quarters available on the Lothlorien out side of VIP Quarters. Being that close to the Captain mean that it was also close to both the ways to get to the bridge.

Once finished in the room I moved the the second of those and moved o the Bridge in the Jefferies tubes.

Coming out of the floor on the Bridge I turn to the Marine Officer working there and turn and introduced myself.

Commander William Wallace Executive Officer of this ship. Could I ask your name Marine.

[Mike Powell]

"The ship has been inspected by Admiral Yates, Colonel Balkazar is right here, and I have been notified on who the Command of the ship will go to. Now admiral there is a lot of work to be done here so  if you intend on staying long please try not to get in the way of my men. They are working very hard on getting the ship operational in the next few days. I am sorry if I am irritable but I have much work to do."

[John Simpson]

"Yes sir!" John said motioning for the Maguid and Mason to enter the turbolift.

"Yes sir.  Though I am still curious."

"No. It was before my time here at Expansion Fleet. I have stood in this very spot though imagining the possibilities for her though. She has not seen action nearing two years now. Maybe more. I just hope she will be recommissioned. Command is giving me a little trouble but I will fight to see her with those lights on her hull on and illuminating her name."
