Quark Field:
Recently discovered in the hands of pirates, its origin is unknown.  However, it is an extremely fearsome weapon which generates an energy field.  All objects within this field are broken down to their component subatomic particles, which are then broken down to their quark subcomponents.  It was beleived to be able to defeat the Metatraxi, and it was attempted by pirates when their ship was attacked by a Daughter during a raid on Starphoenix, an attept which met with dismal failure.  soon after, the vessel was intercepted by a TCT Thunder Dart Tech Recovery unit, and was brought to Techlab 1 to be studied by TCT's Cheif of Sciences, Yagr Ramsey.  His findings were recently released to the public in the form of indiscreet news broadcasts seen by most of the Federation (which, might I add, never recieved my approval).  SEMPER SIC TYRANNUS!  K'tara signing off.
