What is happening to the corporation?

The Corporation had to deal with a lack of interest and misunderstandings. Many people don't understand the Corporation and its ideals, or not fully. Perhaps because they have never enquired about it.
But rather than closing down the Corporation, my intentions are to help it grow stronger, but of course nor me nor Winterspoon can do this alone. We will need the help of the people willing to join the Corporation. It seems as if, as many Expansion Members are claiming it, I'm not the right person for the Corporation and that is why the Corporation is failing.

So, as almost all the people in the Expansion RPG do not want me anymore, do not want to understand me, do not understand WHY I'm so bitter and angry,

I QUIT the Expansion RPG.

Someone wants to take over the Corporation? I give everything!!!!

I have made many efforts, for months (if it is not for a full YEAR), to please you, EVERYBODY. I have made effort to shut up my pain and my misery. I have made efforts to update the site and the boards so that everybody could be interested in the Corporation....

HOW am I rewarded?
By a total lack of interest of YOU and by fights, fights and fights. NOw, the ChatServer problems. Too much is too much. I have enough of my personal problems to tolerate your self-esteem. Oh, some of you have registered to the Corporation? To do what? This is not the solution to the lack of interest of the Expansion Members and you KNOW IT!

You want the Corporation to do what you want with, you have it now. And you can still play your Expansion RPG. But you will not have my StoryLines. They are deleted. You will not have the original files, they are mine and on a CD-RW archive.

Winterspoon, Expansion is a network of links that WE have built.
Remember the 1 + 1 = 3 lesson?

Starfleet + Corporation = Expansion

You can have Starfleet on your own.
You can have the Corporation on your own.
But together, they form a third whole, and that we call Expansion.

If one of those two are taken away, Expansion no longer exists. Or not truly.

Winterspoon, I would have appreciated it if you had at least talked to me about this. Am I not your other and only equal in Expansion? Then why do you ignore me?

For me, it is simple.
Either Winterspoon keeps the Corporation, or Expansion will truly be for sale and closed if nobody shows interest to take it over.

Yes. Dalen the most important thing here is YOU. Even if you did leave and expansion some how stayed open it just wouldnt be the same. Yes sometimes people fight. Even the best of friends fight sometimes but we've been through so much as a group and gone so far do you want to give up now? after everything? It will sadden me very much if this ends. I have gotten to know many people here that I consider friends and one of those people is YOU. I would miss you very much if you left. But my point is all the people I have talked to DONT want YOU to leave JC they want YOU to stay. Our concern is not for Corp right now, it's for YOU. You're our friend and we dont want to see you leave. Please.

ok well I have something to say...I am not ready to take on a divison let alone a whole big thing like the Corp...I want everyone to know what i told JC...not Dalen but JC himself lol......I know sometimes I don't agree with what he says and this coming from me to swallow my own pride takes alot....and means that JC is a strong leader even if we disagree....so here it goes!

I don't really have the right to comment on this board, but I'm going to throw my opinion in anyway. I don't know who any of you are, and I don't have a clue as to the politics of Expansion. I don't know who plays which characters or who's involved in power struggles or whatever. I'm just a guy who stumbled on this thing a couple of months ago.  And I like it. And I'd hate to see it go.

I've enjoyed playing the game, because it's fun. Frankly, it's become part of my daily routine -- just like checking my email. And I try to post if I have anything relevant to say. Sometimes my ideas get shot down; sometimes they don't. In the end, who cares?

Anyway, sorry to ramble, but I think you guys have set up a great system here. I'm an old Star Trek fan and an old RPGer (back when we had to play with dice, paper and pencils), and this is the first online RPG that I've gotten involved with. Personally, I think it's worthwhile, and worth saving, and worth putting aside individual differences for. But that's just me. Feel free to kick me out, but I just needed to have my say.
