That is true. It makes for a good fighter carrier that can be quickly deployed into a battleship when needed. And it does have very good weapons.

Voyager

It is my understanding the Voyager never directly fought the Borg, except in the "Endgame" where the future Admiral Janeway brought future technology that included transphasic torpedos that could destroy Borg Cubes in one or two shots and ablative hull armor to defend against Borg attacks.  There were some other instances where they did fight the Borg but they usually had help, such as from One, the 29th century Borg drone.

With Species 8472, Janeway had created an alliance with the Borg, using the modified Borg nanoprobes the Doctor had developed and firing them from a warhead which destroys the bioships that Species 8472.  Voyager isn't destroyed because when the ship was pursued by a bioship, the Borg Cube sacrificed itself to save Voyager and the modified nanoprobes and when the nanoprobes are used, the bioships are completely destroyed.

With the Krenim, the episodes "Year of Hell" Part 1 and 2, Voyager had altered a timeline where the Krenim temporal weapon ship had changed history hundreds of times to restore the Krenim Imperium.  In this timeline, Voyager was sacrificed to destroy the temporal weapon ship, altering the timeline so that Voyager was never destroyed since the temporal weapon ship never existed to make the alterations that it did.

With the Kazon, Voyager either avoided encounters or fought off small numbers of ships.

With the Hirogen, a peace was made after Voyager gave them the holodeck technology which they used to hunt their prey and not have to spread apart so far.

With the Malon, the void's aliens helped Voyager get the Malon out of the void and collapsed the vortex that led to the void.

And with others...Voyager probably had help and/or an inspiration by a member of the crew that saved all of them.

Or we could just say they had the magical power of a story plot which protected them from destruction.

I think that the Prometheus is the best because it was made by humanity in today's era.

Yeah but there's only one problem I have with Voyager. How did it survive:

> The Borg
> Species 8472
> The Krenim
> The Kazon
> The Hirogen
> The Malon

and others....?

AND how did they destroy NOT ONE, but several Borg ships, when it is clearly seen that a FLEET of Fedreration ships ( Wolf 359 'Best of Both Worlds', Earth 'ST: First Contact'| ) could not, or had difficulty. At Wolf 359, 39 Starships were lost and 11,000 people killed or injured AND that Cube was still in tact! The only reason they destroyed the Borg ship in ST: First Contact, was because Cpt Picard turned up and was able to provide them with co-ordinates to a weak spot in the Borg Cube. Up until that point, it was clear that they were losing the battle.

Sorry for the rant, but thats what think.

the best is voyager but it is kind of stubby for lack of a better word. the enterprise d has elegant yet difined lines. she is it is the best of all, good weapons compliment too.

Out of those the Enterprise. My favorite in particular was the one on the Undiscovered Country, whatever letter it was then, I can't remember.
But my favorite is Voyager, the Intrepid Class. To me it fit that series like a glove.

Voyager

Lol, it isn't a real nickname, I just made that up after chosing it as my username without realizing that would be the one that shows up on the post.  So I just adapted it.  However, the main series I watch is Star Trek Voyager, so I know more about that then any other.

I say Galatica... That is one cool ship along with an awsome bridge... The Galactica is ship that is a cross between a carrier and battleship in my opinion, so I vote Galactica.
