For now, the Skytoucher seems to be in serious trouble, something seems to have happened there. So in order to save them, we have to keep the Loxian fleet busy!"
*At that moment, the ship rocks back and forth again as the Loxian ships open fire once more.*
"Full power to front shields! Fire torpedoes, spread launch! All stations, damage report! Helm, evasive maneuvers!"

It seems that the Loxian ships have lost at least 60% of their maneuverability.

We are now in position to either strike back or hide in the nearby asteroid field.

Agreed Mr Jackson. Have some people work on the comm system. But I don't think there is much we can do without a warp core. Do what repairs you can.

*Enters the turbolift with Commander Lauren, and not long after, they enter the transporter room*

Sure, we can go back to Avalon and get a new one, but it will take a while. Or, once we get out of the Dark Passage, and away from all this interference, we can call Avalon and get them to send us one.

Sir, good to see you back. I know it looks bad, but we're not as damaged as it might seem. Most of the main systems are online. The big problem, as you say, is the warp core. I'm thinking that we sould maneuver out of the Dark Passage on impulse and then call station Avalon and ask that they send us a new one. That would speed up our journey home.

Also, while y'all were away, I hooked up communications with General Zentox on Vontak Nor. We tried to send a warning message to Starphoenix, but I don't know if it got through.

*At that moment, Avalon Station appeared in the distance on the viewscreen of the bridge.*

*Sanchez pushes some buttons to drop the ship out of warp, and then turns to Commander Brooks.*
"We really gotta think twice next time, before giving all helm officers shoreleave together. Anyway, hail the station and ask permission to dock."

"Aye Captain. Impuse engaged, half impuse power."

As the ship slowly exits the docking bay Arwen sighs. 'So much for a little R&R' she thinks to herself.

"We've cleared the docking bay, Sir" Connor says turning back to the captain. "Setting course for the Dark Passage, maximum warp."

Her fingers dance across the controls. "All systems are a go. Warp engaged."

Lt. James comes rushing onto the Bridge

"Where is the Captain?"

Jackson walks onto the bridge.

Thomas Jackson, the new CSO, reporting as ordered, sir. I just transfered to the ship right before she left the station and I've been stowing my gear. Sorry I'm late.

Damage to the Loxian ship, sir. Their shields are down to 60 percent, and they took some minor structural damage, too. That was a #### of a shot, Commander Lauren.

Looks like deck 6 took the brunt of that hit from the Loxians. The hull's been damaged down there. It's not breached yet, but the integrity's been weakened. I don't think we can take another hit to that spot.
