*Inside the captain office, again infront of the comp*

Hm... What the heck is this?

The second officer of the ship can't believe what the readouts are telling him.
"This must be a malfunction on my panel!" he said, as he ran to another panel on the bridge.
"What is a malfunction?" Pax asked. "Tell me, Kyzox!"
But Kyzox didn't answer right away, he focussed his mind on the readouts of another panel.  And a few moments later, to yet another panel.  Until he had checked nearly every panel.
"This... this can't be true!" Kyzox said.  "We are betrayed!"
"Betrayed?" Pax asked.  "By who?"
"The USS Skytoucher!"

Silence falls on the bridge, except for the alert sirens that keep blazing...

"I have checked and checked again, it was the USS Skytoucher who fired a torpedo at us...  It was fired directly at the midst of our ship...  We welcome them with open arms and in peace, and they attack us at the weakest moment..."

I checks all new crews service records. Even before the captain leaft. And you are right. But I still don´t trust you with a trickorder! There are something wierd about you two, and not oly that you was on Excalibur together, but there are something other. I bet you are romulan spies!

But bwefore I can proof something I can not do anything. Except letting Mannion go by himself. I will send my Tac/sec chief with him. She is a good officer.

*Pax appears on the Skytoucher's viewscreen again*

He has not the slightest idea whats in that container, and he'll destroy our only chance to keep the federation safe from the Borg, and he'll never even realize it!  Zack we have to act now, bring down the Skytoucher's shields and disable their weapons and engines while we beam the Yzakians onto the planet and the validum onto this ship, and get away in time! Nobody will be hurt or killed by this!"

Regarding your new orders.

The ship is ordered to investigate the Van'Gu Cluster.  Check the Stellar Map to find its location and set course.  It is a simple scientific investigation, no dangers are expected.

Due to the fact that the USS Skytoucher's crew is not as active as it should be, two new officers are assigned:

Lieutenant Zack Mannion, tactical officer
Lieutenant Peter Svensson, engineer

They will report in momentarily.
Once they have reported in, you are free for departure.

By the way, Commander - have you seen the Captain anywhere? Admiral Vorak has ordered us to investigate the Van'Gu Cluster. I suggest that we get underway immediately...
