If we invert our warp field to match the frequency of a Species 8472 ship, they may be frightened off. Also, that may give us a window of safety to travel closer to the planet to study what 8472 is doing there.

Indeed mr Dalon. Unless they are not very much fond of logic. And they might try to get here and retrieve the data recorder we have, so they can study their enemy. That would make us a target, if they know we have it. Anyway, it would be five ships against one of the Species 8472, since at this distance the defence probs at the planet wouldn´t make any difference. What should we do Captain?
