USS Evolution - Mission 3 : Revisiting Neelix

[Randall Sanchez]

*the captain watches the doctor run to the other side of sickbay to help the patient in shock, as he ponderes over the information Dr. Keilah just told him about.*

"Hmm," he thinks to himself, "a virus that isn't visible from the outside, but destroys a body from the inside. That indicates one thing: Species 8472 is acting hostile. Now, I can see my purpose here clearly, I know now why we are truly here... it's our job to find out WHY Species 8472 acts so violent. Only THEN, we can do something about it."

He concludes his pondering and touches his combadge.

=^= Sanchez to bridge, hang on I'm on my way to the bridge again =^=

He walks out of sickbay and gets into the turbolift to head back to the bridge, where he arrives some moments later.

"Report.  So you believe that there has been some firepower in use near the Fluidic Gate?"

[Randall Sanchez]

"Loxians! That is no good! The last thing we need now is Loxians around us. And I was hoping I could send some away team to the computer core of that ship to find out what goes on. Well, there goes my hope on that! All decks, red alert!
Mr. Zephram you have my approval to turn those systems off.
All hands, battlestations!"

[Randall Sanchez]

*Sanchez takes a deep breath as he gets out of his seat and walks closer to the viewscreen, displaying the solar system and the fluidic gate*

"Mr. Dalon, it seems that our science officers are not with us. Permission granted to reroute the science station to your console. Make as many scans as possible on this fluidic gate, the more we know about it the better. Perhaps the reason that this gate is constant and not temporal, may be because it is not artificially created by Species 8472 or another race, but it naturally existed already. It's just a possibility. And thoes class M planets... perhaps humanoid life forms are brought there for tests or whatever, and most humanoid life forms, except Species 8472, do need a class M environment, after all.
Bring the ship closer, slowly, and keep checking if any other activity is around. Let's start with scanning those Class M planets."

[Randall Sanchez]

"Good, be ready to charge weapons at any moment, if it would be necessary. But can anyone tell me what they are doing right now? Are they hailing us?"

[keilah]

*The doc rushes out of the turbolift onto the bridge*

"Sorry Sir, but there are at least 20 wounded on several decks and ofcourse I was at the lowest deck..."

*He takes a look at the captain and grabes his medical tricorder*

"Aww d*mn....I got to get him directly to sickbay. Are the transporters still working Lieutenant?"

[Zephram Lagos]

Very Good Lieutenant.

*looks at the screen that has just turned on*

Species 8472, We have found a way to close the Fluidic Gate, but we need that a ship pass through it. Evacuate your personal from the planet and get back to your space. I am sending the data about this procedure, so you know what do to.

*sends the data*

I want a damage report on all stations. But first of all lets get this communications system fixed.

*works sometime under a consele*

That should do it. I belive we should keep going to the point we met with Neelix, so he and his party could go back home. After that we proceed to Avalon Station as fast as possible so we can have repairs and better conditions to treat our woundeds.

Ambassador, I have transferred all information to your vessel. There are still some unsolved problems, but the fact is that your people is not in immediate danger. The research will probably go on at your own station.

OFF: Congratulations Mr. Brooks. I'm having the same problem Mr. Lagos' having... Way too much work on the university. That's why I've slowed down on the posts... As soon as I can I'll become active as I once was...

*Sees one of his patients is coming around*

"Goodday captain, how are you feeling today...no pain in the head or maybe some stomachproblems?"

*Grabes a medical tricorder*

"Yes, Yes well I see your internal bleedings have healed so that's one thing not to worry about anymore"

*Suddenly one of his other patients begins to scream*

"Ow wait a minute captain...need to take care of that man"

*The doc rushes over to the Lieutenant who had severe plasma wounds*

"This annaprovaline will calm you down Lieutenant. Those plasma fires around engineering have really caused some wounds"

"This is helm.  We're ready to go, sir," reported Lt Elspeth Davidson.

The asteriods are to big to signifcantly manover the ship through even blasting em away.

I see, well I also needed to get out on my own.
Had some fights back home, and if my parents had the choice I would have become a farmer....but I hated that work. I am happy to serve in Starfleet, and to change my life...no fights anymore..just make friends and have real fun in life...:)

OFF: ops, tactical or helm officer - maybe this would be a good time to arrive and meet a ship with Neelix on? So the mission can finally go on.
