Indeed mr. Dalon. Sir, Species 8472 might not be happy if they see us using our warp field to match their warp frequency signature. It may be a good idea to put it back the way it was. Since they are a telephatic species, they will find out easily that we are not one of them.

Stuart sent the signal on all possible channels hoping that some sort of fleet could arrive to help the station.

The tractor beam has been de-activated, Neelix's ship has landed safely.

OFF: *looks Amazed* thats the first time I've heard you use the "V" word in a while :P

Captain, sensors indicate that the neutrino emissions from the fluidic gate have risen 250% in the last five minutes, sir. This might indicate that a ship or some other object is about to cross it.

I am also detecting several energy signatures comming from the planet near the gate... The logical interpretation is that the Loxian's attack has been detected and triggered a response from species 8472's sensor network.

*taps commands on the console. computer beeps*

Sir, the energy signatures are comming from an orbital network of organic probes. And the signatures match those of the weapons that destroyed the previous Loxian ship.

It is logical to assume that the probes are a defense system and that they were triggered either by the proximity of the Loxian ship, wich is closer to the planet than we are, or by it's weapons' fire.

Another thing corroborates with this conclusion, sir. There is a faint barionic trail that comes from a position close to the planet and ends at the debris field. As Lt. Cmdr. Lagos may confirm, a barionic trail is often the product of a leak of matter and anti-atter from a heavily damaged warp core.

OFF: Create a character on the other divisions and post on their ops, if there are any stations on the division, or at the ships' bridges. I'd benice to post on the Intel and Starphoenix and Shadowfleet divisions... And also on the other ships of this division...

Sanchez leaves sickbay and sets out for the bridge at once. Only a few minutes later, the bridge doors slide open and he enters.

But before he can speak, he sees station Avalon on the viewscreen, to his surprise.

"What are we doing here at station Avalon? Where is the fluidic gate? And the Loxians? And Species 8472? Was I asleep for 20 years or so?"
