*When she left he went back to his console*

"d*mn....why is the computer taking all time with a Sample Scan. I wouldn't be that hard...."

*At that moment a lot of data came on his screen*

"Wow...what is this. Let's see. The DNA is not similar with the previous sample. How is that possible? It's from the same man! This isn't good, Tier could you take a look at this."

Greetings Mr. Brooks. I have already programed the simulation, incorporatig the changes that you and Mr. Lagos have implemented. I believe he should begin our training.

I have programed the computer to generate encounters with a random number of ships of also random configuration, based on extrapolations of the ships encounterd by Voyager. I believe this will provide us a wide spectra of data on our performance. *raises eyebrow in a Spockish way*

Well Lt. Brooks, I believe we should report to bridge. I must say it was fascinating to work with you. i had expected to see you responding more emotionally to the simulation. Perhaps you did not respond properly because you were already aware that the situation wasn't real.

I will look into it some time in the future.

*the bridge fades*

*exits the holodeck and enters the turbolift*

I have seen allot of star trek stuff but not enough to qualify me as a true star trek nerd ling.

Nalia frowns slightly as her eyes scan threw the log reports.

"I think Ill turn in the report and give the captain an update, in the mean while you and Tier get that sleep... That's an order Keil"

Finishes Nalia giveing them one last Glance before she exiets the sickbay.

This is no good. Sir, if we are to engage in battle with any one but Species 8472, we should turn the enhancements we made to fight them off, because they consume too much energy that will be needed in different battle strategy. I can turn off the suspace emitters on the main deflector dish, that are the part that consumes most of the energy in orther to provide the suspace distortion, but i will need about 7 minutes to do it, and 7 imnutes to turn them on again. Should I procede Captain?

The warp field invertion might have got them confused. First, there was a Starfleet ship, and then a Species 8472 ship. They are most likely thinking in what to do.
Sir, I could use the extra time to work on that data recorder. With you ok, I will go down to engineering and put that piece of alien technology to function.

A representant of Species 8472 assured me that they will no longer attack anyone on the Delta quadrant, as long as their domain is left alone.

We are to travel beyond there, but I want to avoid the Dark Passage itself at all costs... bad memories...

So lay in a course to our destination coordinates, taking a course staying left from the Dark Passage as much as possible.
