Rivendell Mss. 5: The Disappearance of Cpt. Taurik

[Morgan Freeman]

An alarm begins to sound on both ships.  Alert, Heavy weapons transfer in progress.  Helm and tactical controls have been syncronized between U.S.S. Rivendell and U.S.S. Evolution Computer control will remain in effect until the transfer is complete.

Transfer ready at confirmation.

*The transporters activate on the rivendell and beam 25 torpedo's into the transponder enhanced racks on the Evolution

Transfer Complete.  All command Systems are restored to normal control.

[Taurik]

"Get everyone off of the ship, Commander. Orpheus and I will try to stop the program from the inside."

He sees Freeman's concerned look.

"Do not worry, Mr. Freeman. Vulcans are more resiliant to harsh environments than most species, and my Gallifreyan training will help as well. I can survive here for quite a while."

[Kassie]

Oh Thank you Mr Freeman.......Im really sorry I bumped into you......I was too emersed in my reading of the ship to pay mind to anything else around me.......

*gets helped up*........Yes I would like a quick tour of the engine room if you dont mind ?......

*Kassie to Doctor Oneil*

Ill make sure I get around to sickbay.....Im sure you would like to have my medical files on hand......im sure the doctor on the evolution would transfer them to you.......and ill drop bye there for whatever you need.........when I get done here in engineering........Kassie out*

Alright Lets go.......*puts her padd into her back pocket*.........

Im somewhat curious for a vulcan......I think its because my mother was human and stuff.....I know how humans can be too curious for there own good......and if im going to be a good Operations officer I think I need to know the ins and outs of a ship and such dontcha think Commander ? *smiles*

Captain Taurik exits the bridge turbolift and promptly takes his seat in the command chair. He presses a button on his arm console.

"Captain Taurik to all hands. Take your stations and prepare to depart."

[Baphomet]

"Aye Commander, I Shall endeavor to do so, with your permission I shall withdraw to my quarters..."

After getting permission, Baphomet logged off her station and headed to the turbo-lift to her quarters...
In her quarters Baphomet lit the meditation candles and sat on the cushion that was given to her by a Vulcan master from the S'Jet monastary.
Open mind.....................................
~Captain Taurik, where are you, do you need assistance are you in danger from the Gallifreyans?
I felt your presence on the bridge and know your abilities are being increased...
Is gallifrey in the kasterborous system as our relics state?~
"Aaahhh"

The strain on her mind was getting to be too much, Baphomet held on as best she could 'til she could not do so anymore;
She collapsed into neuralitic shock...

"There is a Section 31 control file in the computer core?" Taurik asks, beginning to show anger. He turns to Director Svensson. "Why was I not informed of this? And why was it uploaded in the first place?"

A Bulk head slammed down and blocked my exit to bridge........I am trapped here........Ill do what I can from where I am.......Ill give you a report in a few minutes.....Kassie out*

*Kassie looks at orphues as if shes scared to death like........In her mind she Prepared herself threw her holodecks for this kind of situation but even tho it arose She never thought the real thing could be so Scary and confusing*

Orpheus is there any way out of this room besides the door ?..........or is there any cutting tool you have ?......*then she thinks*........Site to site transport.......

 Thank you for the report doctor,  the engineering crew should have your packs replaced in a few moments.   I am going to Send Lt. Commander Baphomet your way, she experenced something strange.   Make sure she is ok.

 I want you to report to sickbay and get checked out by the doctor.

Freeman looks up to see Kassie is getting a little impatent with waiting.  
"Ensign, sorry to keep you waiting, I have a special assignment for you.   A short while ago a section 31 command net was accessed in our computer mainframe.  It shut down all command functions and jetisoned our warp core.  I want you to go through the computer find the command net and remove it.  Understood?"

[Taurik]

Taurik stands with the Vulcan equivalent of awe on his face. "If this will protect the Federation and the galaxy at large, then I accept."

Legudon seems relieved. "Taurik, we categorize telepaths on a scale of zero to six. The brains of all sentient species are capable of telepathy, but as of yet no one has been able to figure out how to bring the ability to the surface in most species. We classify those species as T6. Humans, Klingons, and Romulans fall under T6. Vulcans rank at T5. They have the ability to read another's mind, but only with physical contact and with a very fragile connection. Betazoids, for example, are usually powerful T5's, but some are T4's. They can read another's thoughts safely and with ease. The average Gallifreyan is a T2. They can manipulate matter with their mental energy alone. However, some powerful Gallifreyans have reached the rank of T1. Only one other race has acheived this rank, and it was but a single individual. I am not sure if you are aware of a race called the Ocampans. A rather elderly Ocampan named Kes was able to acheive this telepathic state. But only one Gallifreyan has been able to reach T0."

"Who is that?" Taurik asks.

"Our former leader. He was the key to our entire effort. He could sense every other Gallifreyan if they were in need, and should they begin to fail, he could actually channel his energy to them. But he was on the Erendir homeworld when it was destroyed. But, Captain, we sense in you the power our leader had. We believe you may be able to become a T0."

Taurik is still shocked as he tried to take all this in. "This is very hard to believe."

"Indeed, I'm sure it is. We realize that you have duties. We would not want to keep you from them for too long. We will train you in the basics, but you must continue the training on your own. Once you leave this place, you will be powerful enough to recieve my messages with much more ease than you did on the Rivendell."

The tall Gallifreyan stepped back, and nodded to each of his companions. "Let us begin. Captain, I will start you off with something very similar to the average Vulcan meditation technique." Legudon looked to the corner of the room, where a small table and an stone upon it rest. All it took was a simple gaze, and the table floated over to them. "Close your eyes, and focus on the stone. Concentrate on it. Now, make it part of you. Feel the stone. Now... open your eyes."

As soon as Taurik opened his eyes, the stone, which was now three centimeters in the air, dropped back to the table.

"I thought only T2's could manipulate matter like that," he said.

"Actually, T3's and some powerful T4's can do this. You are already a comparatively weak T4, but a T4 nonetheless. You are unusually strong for a Vulcan."

"I see. Can I do this at will?"

"Yes, but at this point, it will be very difficult. Let us try again."

Taurik and Legudon spent several hours practicing this telekinesis. But suddenly, Legudon stood up.

"You learn quickly. I had exected to need to keep you here for several weeks, but it seems you will not need to stay here that long."

[Baphomet]

"Thank you Mr. O'Neil, but that was quite unecessary I should recover completely in a minute or so...
I just pushed myself too much, unfortunately to no avail, it seems we must consider other avanues."

With that she began the journey back to the bridge, all-be-it a little shakily, and once on the bridge reportered her failure to reach the Captain to Commander Freeman.

OOC: Personally Taurik, I haven't the faintest idea, where is everyone?
I mean Vurak from the evolution has hailed this ship, but everyone seems to ignore that fact. My Katra is in Commander Freeman, but he hasn't posted in a while, I'm lost...

Baphomet walked out of the Lab and toward the Turbolift, where she heard whispering, after a look to see if anyone was nearby (of which there was not) resumed her Trek to the Bridge.

Baphomet resumed her duties on the Bridge.

After returning to the sickbay. I look over the Meta Phank readings in Commander Baphomet quarters when she tried to make contact with the Captain. Shortly after this I come running back to the Bridge,

Commander Travis I have just finished looking over the readings of Commander Baphomet I believe that the Captain can Contact her. I think the Captain can feel that she is looking for him sir. How ever it is. I think he has been advanced  by the Galfriens sir. I tihnk he could help but I think it will need Baphomet dispite her reluctance Commander.

(OFF: Where did everyone go?)

Taurik files the last of the necessary reports and leaves the ready room. He takes his seat on the bridge.

"Helm, are we still on course?"
