Solark Baklavar

=A=Solark to Cmdr. Freeman=A=
As always, I plan to keep my skin this time. Commander. I am going to attempt a quick security sweep of other lab locations and other medical facilities within the area if I can get a positive feed on our culprit other than normal crew operations.

Orpheus, I would really appreciate your help. Can I get a security sweep of the area to the medical areas and their lab locations as well as get a security sweep of the science areas and their labs as well and check out if there is any activity at this currently or very recently (that is still in your files http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>.) that was dealing with gelpacks or anything that was not worked on by normal bridge or medical crews of this ship. I would really appreciate it. Orpheus. Thank you very much and am sincerely grateful if any information can be provided.

(I hope that was well mannered enough for your tastes. Orpheus. lol.)

Taurik

"Listen to the world around you. Listen to that which you could not hear before."

Taurik ceases his thoughts and opens his mind. He hears the whistle of the wind on Gallifrey, the hum of the power generators in the enclave, and the subtle presence of the millions of Gallifreyans on the planet.

"Taurik, can you hear me?"

Taurik looks around to see who spoke. "Yes... I can hear you."

"Good. Taurik, focus on me."

Taurik looks at the close-mouthed Legudon, who smiles slightly.

"Yes, now you see. Every Gallifreyan possesses this power once trained. It is necessary, since speech is nearly impossible while maintaining the mental barriers that prevent the Na'jigat from reading us. And it allows us to communicate while around other corporeals, without compromising our stealth."

Taurik looks at Legudon. "That is a very useful skill to have. How do you do it? That is, speak to others telepathically?"

"Shh. Don't talk. Only communicate. Project. Also, I am not actually speaking to you. I am manipulating your surface thoughts to make you think the words I want to say. In time you will learn it, too. For now, you simply think, and I pick up on it."

Taurik thinks to himself, hoping Legudon will read him correctly. "I see. That makes much more sense."

"Ahh, you are catching on. Very good. Eventually, you will learn to project like this on your own. But for now, simply continue listening. Try to focus on the familiar."

Taurik begins to listen to the galaxy for things he knows.

The electrical impulses of his shuttle's computer core.

The hum of the Rivendell's warp drive.

A voice. "...aystrom Institute has been experimenting in creating a neural link between a telepath and a starships main computer core, it might be possible to link one of the crew, who is telepathic to the Rivendell's Computer Core. All Prometheus-class vessels have fully integrated Bio-neural circuitry, which would make the task more likely to succeed and make finding the Captain a probabili..."

Another voice. "...his is Deep Space 5. Raleigh, you are cleared to dock at Pyl..."

"Admiral Nechayev, here is the report you wanted..."

Off:  Its ok HK.  Its probably better that way.

On:
"Orpheus, Download yourself into your mobile unit.  Just for safety sake."
"HK, Begin rector shutdown sequence.  Director Begin the computer shutdown as fast as possible.  Captain be ready when systems come back online."

Freeman begins removing the chip sequence in the order that was discussed and the Rivendell like a big bohemith shuts down and begins slowly tumbling towards the planet.

Off2: Here is where things can go wrong or not.  I have to wait for all the other systems to reinitilze before starting up the drive systems.

"You will soon learn more about these nanites, HK47. I know them well, as they are a creation of Section 31. I was there in the lab, many years ago, when they were first being created."
*Then he turns to Freeman.*
"The nanites should not cause any physical damage to the person. They were, just like the secret program in the computer, designed to act in emergency situations. They would allow us to control people, that aren't Section 31 agents, in vital situations if necessary. However, what caused Baphomet to perform sabotage, eludes me as well. Something must have gone really wrong."
You will be judged, the way you judge...

Freeman has just enough time to start for his communicator when the phaser points in his direction.

"Commander Baphomet, listen to me, I am your friend and just want you help you.   I am not going to try anything foolish.   Just put the phaser down and we can talk.

Will you let me evacuate the crew to the Evolution?"

The sleek Prometheus-class destroyer slides out of the docking bay door, fitting through more easily with the absence of the lower portion of the ship.

"Plot a course for Dantor and engage at warp six."

Commander Baphomet, see if you can't get in touch with the captain telepathically.

Doctor does it seem normal to you that the captain would take off without telling us where he was going and why.  Do you believe he was under an outside influnce.  Send someone to the captains quarters to see if there are any signs of what happened to the captain.
