Solark Baklavar finally gets permission from sick bay to be able to return to work once more as it's tactical officer of this fine ship called the Rivendell. I have been konked a few time by control panels as of late. (As he remember the jolts.......Another tale). I am reporting for duty.

Taurik and Kassie walk to the ready room, where Kassie stands at attention in front of the desk. Taurik gets a box from his desk, and stands in front of her.

"Ms. Kassie, as of 000 hours tomorrow morning, you are officially assigned as Chief Operations Officer of the U.S.S. Rivendell. As such, I hearby grant you the provisional rank of Ensign, until such time as you can attend Starfleet Academy."

Taurik hands Kassie the small box, containing a single gold rank pin.

I am prepared to beam aboard your crew to our fullest capacity and beyond should you need it. I am currently setting coordinates to your ship to beam when should you need it. We will do what we can. Our medical facilities will be open to you. Our available medical staff will be ready just in case. I am at your service. I will work on getting the rest of the crew off the planet. Please inform us of your status when possible.

I do have a body yes, I have a mobile utility droid I sometimes use for delicate jobs, other then that I make use of the ship wide hilo emmitters.

By all means Baphomet.  Use the observation lounge if you would like.   Also doctor monitor all meta-plankh (I do like that name) readings from the ship.   Remain at yellow alert and set course along the captains last known route.

(Solark quickly returns from his Diagnostics. All seems to be week. He hands Captain Taurik a complete report upon his progress from his time of "bed rest" and buzzes around as he continues his diagnostics of the weapons systems.)

Sorry Captain. I have been busy with diagnostics of our shield systems and weapons array. Let me know if you need anything.

Computer: All Deflector shields: forward, aft, starboard, and port have been checked and working with 100% efficiency. Shield generator integrity working with 100% efficiency. All current shield diagnostics are now complete. Report forwarded to the proper authorized personnel.

Solark Baklavar: Access denied......................Need code authorization....Reason: Off duty until re-authorized by security personnel.............

Argh....I forget to get security clearance now I can not finish my diagnostics. Blasted computer authorizations.............Oops. Sorry Captain and Commander. Eh. I can use a little help getting my clearance re-etablished........................

The Science station, confirmed Baphomet's worst fears and being a Vulcan was already several steps ahead of the mostly human crew.
She didn't want to betray the crew like this, but when it comes down to it she would quite willingly sacrifice her career and LIFE for the crews safety, and the way things have been going she realised that even all the best intentions were not enough, compared to human emotions.
So she pressed the execute button...

*Cut to engineering*

The emrgency evacuation klaxon began to sound and the emergency bulkheads came down as everyone in engineering safely got out.

All Command and Control stations shutdown, as did everything else except shields, atmospheric control and emergency lighting, all Command codes were locked out of the main Computer core...

-Warp core, emergency ejection complete-
-Warp core self destruct in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1-

A shockwave could be felt through the entire ship.

-Warp core detination complete, shields are still at one hundred percent-

Baphomet then stepped away from her now dark station awaiting the inevitable, plus an obvious explaination of how she has a SECTION 31 Command override code, that had been secretly placed in every Federation vessel since the Dominion war.

~Captain Taurik, an explaination might be prudent for the logically-challenged members of the crew~

Taurik taps his commbadge. "Commander Freeman, I believe you wanted to speak to me?"
