"Yes sir.  Sending it now." John responded.

=^= "USS Iroquois, Come in.  We have secured the ship and are now attempting to pilot her out.  We have yet to figure out the vital systems but we should have them figure out soon.  We will make contact when we are out of the nebula." =^=

<John brings up the navigation maps on a HUD like display and uses it to chart there course out of the Nebula>

<Heraani Vessel>

"Best I get back to the Lothlorien to assist with the wounded.  Excuse me sir." John said as he headed back to the Lothlorien.

<Walks into the sickbay to see the nurses running around tending to the wounded and Nesbitt was working on one of the marines>

<John took off his combat gear as quickly as he could and ran over to Nesbits patient just in time to assist him with stopping the bleeding>

"Sir, I know im late.  Lets try and keep these marines alive then if you still wish can deal with my court marshal." he said jokingly as he stuck the marine with a hyprospray.

[Balkazar]

Turning to the officer around me on the bridge I say Okay everyone lets have the deck ready for the Captrains return. I expect it shall be shortly.

Mason glances up to the view screen then down again to his console.
"Sir, whenever everyone's ready i'd like to fly us back into friendly space. They might of got a signal out calling for re-enforcements"

"Lets see, high resistence forces, captured heraani captain, lost 10 armors, 40 wounded 10 dead, and you ask how it went?"

Well that is what your here for Colonel. You knew what you were going to be trained for before you got into the Marines. Fleet sends people to there deaths too. Admittedly it is normally in ships exploding or someother fight between ships. we took a big chink out of the armour of the Heranni today. Not that I can say what the high Command will do with the ship but I expect they shall try to us it to develop weapons to be more effective against them.

However I am sorry for the loss of your men as it weakens our fighting complement untill we get more mean to replace them. However I am sure you will do well with what you have.

So just a question sir I know how badly you were hit but how did the new armours hold up.

"None here, sir.  However, I want to make sure that everyone wears full battle gear underneath there EVA suits.  So we can shed the suits immediately.  Also try to keep an open communications link to each other and the ships.  Make sure your helmet's are also set for multi-spectrum viewing, should make things alot easier.  Make sure you have your compression rifles too." John said in an informing matter, knowing it was his job to make sure everyone didnt forget anything.

*Tom rubbed his chin. As he watched the final Heerani ship go up in flames.*

Maj. Keller is transported straight to an operation room. I need 20cc's of Melorazine injected now. and get me Exoscalpal, Dermal Regenerator, Physiostimulator, Plasma Infusion Unit, we will now place the patient in a state of Cryostasis in order for his condition to stabilize. now will will commence the tests the following tests will need to be completed in no more than one hour; Basilar Arterial Scan, Inner Nuncial Series, Hyperencephalogram, Neural Imaging Scan,  Resonance Tissue Scan of the wound on the back. <Nesbitt walks out of the OR and to his office>

*...Nate enter the bridge. The thuds of his armored footsteps could be heard as he entered...*

"Colonel we have secured the.....AAAH.... Ugh...."

*...A blue glowing blade was swiftly plunged through Nate and he was slowly lifted into the air then thrown across the room. His lifeless body landed and smashed a control consul then all of the sudden the Commander of the Heerani ship and an elite group of spec ops Heerani de-cloak and engage the marines...*

Malia sat in engineering performing the usual maintenance scans.  She put down her tab that she's been reading all the latests results from, and rubbed her neck.  It was quiet, most of the crew had bedded for the night.  Malia leaned back in the chair and staired up.  What had happened to the fun in her life?  She grunted and grabbed the tab and got back to work.
