Mission 11: "Impromptu Heroism"

[HK47]

"Droids dont feel emotion and we dont pester.  Infact, it was the crewmen who was showing his limited knowledge of starfleet vessels who was pestering me." HK47 said as he went over to Tactical station.

<Tubes exited from HK47s right and left arms, they inserted themselves into Tactical for a more readied response should the need arise>

"Phasers fully charged, shields are at full, photon and quantum torpedoes are at full operational status." HK47 said in his computerized voice.

[Taurik]

(OFF: A datacore is a datacore. Besides, Orpheus is an AI, he's smart enough to improvise a connection between the two.)

  "Are all senior staff aboard? Good."
  Taurik stepped up onto the command dais and sat in the chair, which was formed just a little too tall and thin for a Vulcan or a human, and was obviously more suited to a Gallifreyan.
  "Then, Petty Officer, engage engines, and bring us out of the spacedock. I have sent orders to Rivendell to assist in the repair and rescue efforts until we return."

[T'lana]

T'lana noticed on the Kelata's sensors that a Heraani squad were on their way to ambush the Rivendell away team.

Decloaking the Stealth Ship, T'lana opened fire on them with the Phased Plasma Pulse Cannons.

Each 25,000 kilojoules plasma bolt, struck the ground with explosive force decimating some of the squad and scattering the rest.

T'lana cloaked the Kelata and contacted the away team...

Sagittarii looked at Morgan questioningly, believing that he had nothing to hide she said.

"That will not be necessary Mr. Freeman, I will just take the 'Phoenix Rising' to the nearest star and refuel her there, but thanks for the offer."

T'lana walked in to the reactor room directly after Morgan and raised her forcelance.
At their current position in the huge reactor chamber, Morgan and T'lana could not directly see anyone in their with them.
But the last sensor readings T'lana took did show someone in there surrounded by unknown bio-readings.

T'lana held her forcelance in her left hand, grabbing  the tricorder with the other.

"Be careful Morgan, the tricorder shows one Vulcan surrounded by six lifeforms of indeterminable origin and type."

T'lana put away the tricorder and activated the forcelance's fighting pike mode.

Morgan Pilots the Kelata out of the base and fly's parallel of the Slipfighter.  Opening a Comm to the fighter.

OOC: lol i havent even notified the security team yet to go to the shutle bay yet but lets just say i have

"captain i have prepard a class 5  reconnaissance probe,it has a low observability coating and standard scan countermeasures it may be worth sending in first to gige the  Kelata some much needed intel."

T'lana finally found the answer for the inability to find the USS Evolution, she was looking for external causes and it was the Rivendell all along.

"Captain I suggest dropping out of warp sir, the negative energy of the Warp Field is the cause of the temporal anomalies. The compression of spacetime ahead of the vessel is generating quantum tears in to subspace.
It also might explain the slight power loss, as these quantum tears are occasionally being reflected back to the ship."


OOC: That should help and explain things...at least if we stop for repairs, it gives the players something to do and gives the Evolution crew time to SEND the Distress call.

OOC: Certainly Commander...Although the Mission was premature, a temporal anomaly was introduced which has now dissipated, we are still on route, but there is no word as yet to whether the actual distress call has been made...waiting for Captain Taurik.

"Laying in course and engaging the main engines, Sir!" Sarpedon said, and the Radiant Thunder swung around to face the direction it was going, and the main engines propelled it towards it's target.

<Beta turned a corner to see one of the Heenari stalking the corridor. The Heenari saw him, and fired. The beam went straight through Beta and the only mark was a scorch mark on the wall behind him. Beta fired one precise shot which went straight through the Heenari's head, killing him instantly.>

=^=May I suggest you contact the crew in Engineering through COM to COM  transmissions, and inform them of the situation, but tell them not to do anything at this time. Tell them to be prepared for a little fire fight when I get to Engineering.=^=

<As Beta rounded another corner, on of the Heenari set up a lvl five forcefield in his path. Beta passed straight through it, as well as the two phaser blasts from the Heenari's weapon. The fact that Beta could pass through force fields and phaser blasts was obviously both confusing and frightening to the Heenari, a fact which Beta found most amusing.>

<Beta Entered the nearest turbolift>

"Deck 5, Main Engineering."

Computer: =^=Connot Comply. Turbolift system to main Engineering has been deactivated.=^=

"Hmmm. Computer, transfer Holographic Officer Beta from Mobile Emitter to Ship-board emitters."

<Once the computer had complied, Beta ordered a site-to-site transport of his emitter to his storage locker.>

"Computer, transfer program to deck five."

<Beta fizzled out of view and then back again, this time a ew decks below in an almost identical corridor, only a short distance from Engineering. He also appeared right in the middle of 5 Heenari, who opened fire on him, killing each other in the resulting mayhem.>

"I'm begginning to quite enjoy this." He said, heading off down the corridor.

After the Kelata had docked, Sarpedon was the first to the Bridge. He had already had a tour of the TARDIS, which was in may ways similar to the Thunder, and having no other destinations on the ship he was currently needed at, found his way there through the in-built transporters quickly.

Locating the Helm station, Sarpedon sat and waited for T'lana to power up the ship from Engineering. Once she had done so, he began the Engine prime-up sequences.

"Engines are priming. We'll be ready in two minutes." he said. Not to anyone in particular, though. Then he remembered something.

"Sir, I've just remembered the short-burst transmission on Avalon's Comm Frequencies, right before backup power failed. I think Beta is still trapped in the station's Holographic database. His emmiter is still on the Rivendell too, we'll need to get someone to download him into it. I'm not sure myself how to access him though with main power still down." The Holographic officer had been trapped in the station's core for a long time. Some of his sub-routines may have been corrupted due to his sudden shutdown.

[Doctor Who]

The TARDIS had made short work of the Heraani vessels, including the phase-shifted capital.

By the time the USS Evolution had arrived, the TARDIS had finished with the enemy and had returned back to the USS Rivendell, coming along side.

The Doctor removed himself from the drawing room and had returned to the Main Console, programming the TARDIS to surround both the USS Rivendell and USS Evolution for protection.

The Doctor walked to the weapons locker and picked up a Staser and Khala, he also had his trusty Sonic Screwdriver, but that was due to nostalgia more than anything.

The Staser is the Gallifreyan version of the Phaser and Disruptor models of other races with one exception, the Staser makes those look like pop-guns.

The Staser works by ripping apart the quantum bonds of matter and energy, at full power it removes the matter and energy from spacetime altogether.

The Doctor then went back to the main console and programmed the TARDIS to automatically acclimate to whatever the two Star Fleet vessels wanted.

The Doctor then lifted his wrist and manipulated a wrist-watch like device, that transmatted himself to the Fortress.
