Mission 11: "Impromptu Heroism"

"If I may, Masters, I would request that the Radiant Thunder be dispatched to handle this matter, along with a joint crew from the Order as well as my own ship."

(OFF: no need to evacuate lol thats a bit extreme. they just need to go back to their quarters while the marines raid the sealed deck while security details sweep the station.)

[T'lana]

T'lana looked at HK47 dispassionately, but it would be illogical to reply to such an asinine statement.

"HK47, you hold no rank or position in Star Fleet and therefore should not be on bridge."

T'lana looked back at the Science Station and continued her scans, wondering to herself why Star Fleet Protocol was not being adhered to.

"Captain Taurik, there was a Gallifreyan vessel here earlier, given our current situation of being rather out numbered, it might be best to see if they will return to assist."

"Ah, that is more like it."
<Walks over to nearest replicator>

"That's better, I always prefer not to rely fully on a ship's emitters when it caould be entering battle."

[T'lana]

T'lana studied the Heraani Cruiser and noticed something odd...
"Although I do not know much about the Heraani, it appears that their power systems are fluctuating."

T'lana scanned the area...

"Three different weapons signatures are present around the Evolution; Federation, Heraani and an unknown weapon signature."

[Alexia]

"I See, interesting.  Excuse me, I have to report to my master.  These gallifreyan will escort you to our base camp." she said as she disappeared from site hidden by a cloaking field and went to join her master.

[Taurik]

Taurik continued to examine the bodies of the attackers, both the ones he killed as well as the one T'lana just separated from it's heartbeat. Standing, he walked to T'lana and Morgan to deliver his startling discovery.

"It is as I suspected. These are not Heraan. They belong to another race, less psionically attuned but experts of melee combat. The council needs to hear of this as soon as possible."

[Taurik]

Taurik grabbed the remains of a dead alien on the bridge and examined it closely.

"I recognize these aliens. They are Heraani assassins, most likely sent here to find a possession of mine."

Taurik grabbed a tricorder and began punching in a set of scanning criteria. As soon as he finished, he handed the tricorder to Ensign Tragare.

"These are the phase variations of Heraani field technology, including both their cloaking and body shield generators. Assemble a security team, and modify all your tricorders to match. Scour the ship and eliminate any of the intruders you find."

[Givrillian Sarpedon]

"Sir, we have now dropped out of Warp. Beginning to make the approach to the Station"

[Holographic Officer Beta]

<As the members of Security Team three found Beta, now surrounded by another three Henaari bodies, Beta consulted the schematics around Main Enigneering>

"OK, everyone split up and find as many different ways into Main Engineering as you can. A few are here, here, and here <pointing to locations on the wallscreen>. I will take the main entrance alone, they cannot kill me, but you do not have that luxury. Enter Engineering, and get ready to take out the Henaari as quickly and efficiently as you can, we don't want the Engineering crew in danger, and to keep us from that situation we need to surround Engineering and kill off these ######## as quickly as we can. <pause> Go!"

=^= Beta to the Bridge, we are almost ready to storm Main Engineering, make sure that the Engineering crew are alerted to the situation, but not the intruders, please, we don't want anyone caught in the cross-fire. Beta out. =^=

T'lana looked at her Captain, then at the bickering Officer and Droid, then back at the Captain.

"Gratitude is not necessary Captain...*pauses*...but you are welcome."

T'lana then looked at the Droid and Ensign and raised an eyebrow in the usual stoic Vulcan manner.

"Mr. Tragare, HK47, this is the bridge of a Starship not a Klingon combat arena, I suggest you treat it as such your illogical disagreement serves no purpose."

Turning back to the Science Station, Lieutenant Commander T'lana accessed the sensor array and began scanning for the Evolution.

After a moment, "Captain, although I could not pinpoint the exact location of the distress call due to some extraneous external source, I have extrapolated an approximate vector.
Bearing 234 mark 25, at grid coordinates 2356-23-2394.
It is unknown at present what is causing the distortions, perhaps a nebula or a subspace anomaly, it would not be prudent to speculate."

[T'lana]

T'lana moved back to the Science Station, after scanning the entire star system, she scanned the Defense Platforms and Capital Ships.

"Captain the Capital Ships have weapons charged, but it seems they are letting the Defense Platforms attack first.
Both platforms are targeting the Radiant Thunder and are firing, full disruptor spread and multiple quantum torpedoes."

The Radiant Thunder already had it's Transduction Barrier raised when it went to tactical alert and as the dull thumps of weapon hits sounded through the starship, it was quite serendipitous.

[Morgan Freeman]

"By all means" Morgan said as he backup up slightly and waited for T'lana to lead the way out of the room they where in and into the cockpit of the ship.
