Mission 11: "Impromptu Heroism"

[Taurik]

"Thank you, sir."

Taurik teleported himself to the landing bay, and found the sleek, white, alien vessel christened the []i]Cardinal Virtue[/i]. Stepping aboard, he marveled at the design of the vessel. Very artistic, a sharp contrast to the utilitarian design of Federation architecture.

He sat down at the pilot's seat in the cockpit and primed the engines. Lifting the graceful vessel off of the tarmac, he slipped it out of the bay and around the docking ring to the Radiant Thunder.

The Virtue slipped silently into the docking bay, and the brilliant blue glow of the graviton drive subsided, and Taurik stepped out. He tapped his commbadge. "Taurik to bridge. As soon as the Rivendell's senior staff reports in, take us out of the station."

"But Captain, we're still testing the Radiant Thunder. While I agree with the mission, wouldn't it be easier to take the Rivendell? She's already battle-tested."

[Taurik]

(OFF: Okay, I had no idea we were sitting above Heraan itself. Let's assume this is just a border colony, because Heraan itself fits into the EF plot waaaaay down the road.)

"May I remind you, Commander, that the Heraan have no civilians," Taurik said a little too emotionally, desperate to justify what he had just ordered. "Every being on that planet is dedicated to our destruction, and is to be considered hostile."

As she was talking to Morgan Freeman, T'lana activated the Slipfighter's Gauss Canons (Fires EM accelerated Projectiles, aka Coilguns).

"Entering coordinates for Avalon Station, Captain."

Sarpedon said, and the craft tilted and changed it's orientation back the way they came. A Galactic map appeared on Sarpedon's console and he tapped the quadrant, followed by Sector that he wanted, and then chose the more coordinates he wanted out of the ship's full database, by further narrowing down the computers search by clicking on areas of the map as they zoomed in ever closer. Eventually, he specified manually the exact location within-system they wanted to drop out, close to Avalon Station.

"Coordinates entered, and engaging jump." Sarpedon reported. The ship lurched forward, though due to inertial dampeners, the crew barely felt a thing.

((OOC: Sorry, but I don't really like the idea of half my job being done for me from another station, so I put that I enter in navigational coordinates. Otherwise all I'm posting is "Engaging jump."))

[Legudon]

The Council immediately began an uproar.

"Silence!" Master Legudon called, and the Council subsided. "Tell us more. How do you know, young Taurik, that they are in league with the Heraan?"

[T'lana]

Rhiannon: "Not really...but if she begins to think you less intelligent than T'lana, please do not get offended, that is the way it is on Tarn-Vedra."

T'lana was concerned at the amount of enjoyment Beta was having at destroying the Heraani and also noted the flickering occurring from the holograms holomatrix.

"Mr. Beta, there is no enjoyment in destroying any life, whether they are enemies or not. Perhaps I should take over and you to go offline for diagnostics to be done on your holomatrix."

OFF: Just to let you know, the Evolution have launched their beacon, so when we've finished with the intruders on the Rivendell, we won't have to stall getting to the Evolution anymore.

"Mr. Tragare, chronitons or chronons as they are also known, are particles in direct relation to time.
So although it is true that Romulan cloaking fields and Borg transwarp coils emit chronitons, they are not in direct relation to them. Having said that though I commend you on your vigilance, but bare in mind not all is what it seems."

T'lana thought for a minute, knowing humans quite often need reassurance, she turned back to him and stated.

"Good suggestion though, well done."

"sir would there be away to posibly use the rivendells shields to herd the intruders into like an empty cargo bay,you could rig the shields to form infront of them then slowly advance towards them thus herding them towards a empty cargo bay once they are there we ask for thier surrender if they dont surrender we space them,i know thats not federation policy but its the easiest way to handle them with less risk to the crew and any passengers we have afterwards we can have beta and HK47 do a priority 1 search of the ship for any stragglers "

"Thank you Sir. Double and triple-checking umbicals....umbicals secure. Checking moorings.....moorings are secure. Deactivating main drives."

Sarpedon smiled to himself. He had completed his first Starfleet mission and managed to safely dock a Starfleet vessel without a problem!

[Doctor Who]

After the telepathic communication with T'lana, the Doctor thought for a moment. Flying around Avalon Station in the spacetime vortex instead of teleporting on board, would be really stupid.

So the Doctor went to the Central Console and programmed the TARDIS to jump back to normal spacetime.
With a flash of light, the Gallifreyan vessel called TARDIS, exited the spacetime vortex around Avalon Station.

Scanning the station he found a good  place to start his explorations, grabbing his Khala and Staser, the Doctor teleported to Avalon Station.
