OOC: MIA i guess.oh well, i guess we cant have you bleed to death.

IC:

"Computer, innatate site to site transport, lock on to Commamder T'lana, and transport her to sick-bay."

holding out his tricorder he downloaded the already scaned information on the intruders into it. flipping the divice shut he touched the pannel to call the lift.

"i'me going to try and rig inturnal sensors to the inturnal force fields, if we can spot them and drive them away from our personel, we can take them out easer."
confucius say:
"War does not determine who is right, war determine who is left."

Taurik

Taurik found himself hard-pressed simply to keep the aliens from slicing him open with their blades. He was up against three creatures now, each wearing two energy bracers, whilst he had his khala only. Several times, he found himself millimeters from death, only saving himself with a well-placed parry or a conveniently-timed psi-blast.

Only a handful of Gallifreyan knights ever learned the art of dual-wielding, Taurik recalled. If ever there was a time to learn, it was now. As if a gift from Adun himself, the opportunity presented itself. Taurik made an upward reverse-swing, cleanly separating the right arm from one of the attacking aliens. Slamming the now-handicapped attacker into the wall with a force blast, as well as his friends, he pulled the bracer from the arm and managed to find time to affix it to his arm. Activating the weapon was achieved the same as with his khala, simply by channeling a small amount of psionic energy through it.

Convinced the odds would be slightly evened, Taurik faced his opponents, who seemed angrier than ever, and who's eyes shone nearly as blue as his weapon. Unfortunately, he was forced to realize that, while his control of a single blade was expert, his use of twin blades, especially that of differing styles, was significantly less. Several times during his fight, he deactivated the Heraani bracer to concentrate on his single weapon, using the secondary blade more as a surprise attack, knowing the aliens would not likely be able to anticipate his second blade if they were occupied by his khala.

Another of the attackers eventually fell dead, leaving Taurik to deal with the lone remainder... or so he thought. Convinced that their lone comrade would fall against Taurik, the other three aliens dropped to the floor. Taurik, now faced with four enemies, knew he had reached his limit. He began to to back toward the exit, the aliens' eyes glowing brightly with rage and bloodlust. Taurik knew he would be unlikely to defeat four expertly-trained assassins, even with his superior psionic skills.

As he retreated slowly, the previous thought struck him again. Every Heraani elite he had previously faced had shown considerable skill in both swordsmanship and the psionic arts. However, these aliens showed blade skill equal to that of a Gallifreyan Templar or a Heraani commander, but they displayed no psionic ability other than that of cloaking their own thoughts.

Thump.

Taurik's back hit the wall. He was out of room to retreat, and the aliens were closing in. He raised his blades, determined to kill as many as he could before he inevitably fell.

T'lana

OOC: I am only doing this because quite frankly I am getting really tired of waiting, posting on a regular basis only takes 5 minutes a day ya know. http://www.expansionfleet.com/ikonboard/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/confused.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='???'>

IC:

Cadet Beta's holomatrix began to flicker again and for some reason his cognitive and motor functions froze.
T'lana set up a repair algorithm and took over at tactical until the repairs were complete.

"Targeting the planet Captain, firing."

She paused over the fire controls for the Quantum Discharge Beam Canon for a moment, knowing full well that a lot of meditation was going to be needed before she could remove this from her conscience.

T'lana finally pressed the controls...

It took only one minute of constant firing for the Quantum Discharge Beam Canon to destroy the target planet.

Telemetry sensors noted that as soon as the beam hit the planet, all surface lifeforms were atomized, then the surface of the planet, it's mantle and then it's core.

There was no explosion, no cries for help, no means to tell if lifeforms were fighting back at all.

All that floated in space now, was a pathetic collection of atoms that was once the base of the planet, it's flora and fauna and it's sentients that once colonized this planet and called it home.

Stating the obvious, T'lana reported the status of the planet planet with notable sadness in her voice.

"Target destroyed Captain."

T'lana went to the navigation console, just as the recursive algorithm T'lana applied to Beta's holomatrix had completed the necessary repairs.

"I have set navigation systems for Avalon Captain, we may jump at anytime."

OOC: To be honest I really don't care for the Quantum Slipstream Drive, I am using real science again and saying it is a Hyperdrive - Wormhole Induction Propulsion. Or technically: Manipulation of gravity to fold spacetime, resulting in a hyper-dimensional manifold, or better known as a spacetime vortex.

T'lana

OOC: David, he is entitled to his opinions and happens to be correct, this maybe an RPG, but you have to learn not to go to far. Now we were not going to war, so finish this now and we will get on with the mission at hand.
Bran, your OOCs are too big and are usually only three line to explain the IC situation, please keep it as such.

T'lana

"I am not racist HK47, I am a Vulcan and with that I use logic and reason, you are too unstable, you are also a civilian."

T'lana turned to Captain Taurik, thinking to herself that this illogical and irrational machine is too dangerous to have on the bridge.

"The Kelata is at your disposal Captain, ORPHEUS can run these scans, with your permission I shall go down and prepare the Kelata for launch."

T'lana handed commanded the Rivendell's AI to continue with the scans of the spacetime anomalies and made her way to the turbolift.

In the shuttlebay, T'lana activated the biometric hatch release and made her way to the helm.

The Kelata's Gravity Drive came to life, as T'lana activated the weapons as well.

Ferando ONeil

OOC: Sorry for the tardiness. But this one really seems to taken off in like less than a day.

IC: Whilst working away in the sickbay I heard the call for the Chiefs to report readiness considering the last packing of the shelves and cupboards in the medical Area I thought I will as soon as I am Finished.

Twenty minutes later I turn from the job finished and make the call.

=/\= Captain This is Lt Cmdr ONeil Chief Medical Officer. Sickbay is all squared away sir. I notice sir that were are going to pick up the evolution sir. I shall spend some time getting an aid station set up in Cargo bay 2 sir. =/\=

And the timeline we are in is way after Voyager got home, so the mobile emitter would have been heavily studied

T'lana

T'lana looked into Morgan's eyes, her own eyes clearing, she was no longer intoxicated.

Givrillian Sarpedon

Sarpedon, sitting in the Kelata cloaked, watched the battle, knowing that he could do nothing to help without first familiarising himself with the weapons systems of the ship. After the short exchange, he watched as T'lana ejected from the cockpit.

"Dammit! Computer! Beam LtCmdr T'lana onboard now!" he ordered the ship, and as the officer materialised he went over to her to do his best in checking her lifesigns with his tricorder. He was no expert on Vulcan physiology, but from what he could tell she would survive.

Taurik

(OFF: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You should have seen my post interval three years ago. My excuse? Work kicks my ass.)

Taurik looked at Cadet Beta. "Begin active scans. The Heraan have camoflage technology, both on their ships and their persons. If they are here, I want to know where."

T'lana

"I apologize Morgan, what is it that you want to know?"

T'lana asked as she walked down another corridor and up several tears to a double pneumatic door.

Placing a Strontium Titanate Data Crystal into the reader beside the door, it opened to reveal an umbilical tube.
