Mission 11: "Impromptu Heroism"

[Techerakh]

"I had no doubt in your motives, I simply needed to hear you speak it."

Techerakh's voice turned sour. "Grave news, you say? We must hear it. You are cleared to land, and you may spare no niceties in approaching the Council immediately. En Taro Adun, brother."

With that, the comm-line cut.

[Givrillian Sarpedon]

"Yessir, engaging engines and matching the Evolution's course." Sarpedon reported, his hands flying over the console as he did so.

[Morgan Freeman]

Morgan and Sarpedon activated the engine of the Kelata and left the bay of the Rivendell.  After a few moments maneuvering into place, Morgan turned the controls over to Sarpedon "Don't pull away until I signal you that I am no longer in the airlock." he said on the way out of the bridge.

Arriving at the airlock a moment later, Morgan goes to work on the door.  Since power was out throughout all the station he would have to manually open the airlock door.  This would be done easily had he been inside the station but outside he would have to cross wire a number of different door mechanisms in order to get it to open.

Its going to take me a few minutes to get this door open.  Whats the status of the station?

[T'lana]

T'lana didn't consider herself beautiful, or pretty, or any of the other rather flattering adjectives.
Being a Vulcan, her physical appearance was the result of her DNA, even to consider one more or less beautiful than another was illogical.
That didn't mean that the words were lost on her, it was just irrelevant to the state of being.

"Thank you."

<wiping blood and gore from his uniform Torbin glares in a wry way at HK>

"Thanks Hk, but couldn't you kill him in a less,<holds up ichor covered hand> messy way?"

walking over to Tragare, wipeing his hands on his uniform, he cranes his neck and looks at the information on the tricorder.

"Sir, i could modify a torpedo to work as a 'flare', it should reveal any ships nearby."

[Holographic Officer Beta]

"Well, I will assume that I am no longer needed to stay on-duty. I will be in the holodeck if you need me, Captain, running a program to try and test the barriers of my own programming."

Going to his storage locker, he placed his mobile emitter inside and touched his comm badge.

"Computer. Transfer Holographic Officer Beta to the Holosuite."

Unfortunately, while the computer did as it was told, Beta failed to specify which holosuite, and so ended up in one on Space Station Avalon, in an alread running program.

[T'lana]

"Interesting...get whatever you need from the Kelata, I will remain with you for protection."

T'lana stated nonchalantly.

[T'lana]

It was T'lana's turn to introduce herself.

"I am T'lana from the planet Vulcan, in the words of my people *Vulcan Salute* Live long and prosper."

Sagittarii: "You honor me with your introductions, I am Captain  Sagittarii of the Argosy High Guard Special operations. I suppose you would like to know why there is a  secret base in your galaxy, let me make this perfectly clear. We do not know who to contact first in this galaxy, to become members of our Systems Commonwealth,  the whole galaxy has to be in agreement. But, having said that,  what I have seen of your United Federation of Planets, you are the most logical choice thus far. I would love  to see that happen, but we are a  patient people, thoughts?"

[Taurik]

(OFF: Mistakes? Me? That's funny :P)

"As I had thought, as well. I move that an expedition be dispatched immediately to determine the identity and whereabouts of this new threat."

[Morgan Freeman]

Morgan couldn't help but laugh as he watched T'lana take charge of the situation.  "So are we going to blast the reactor bay door as well, or will you give me a chance to open it first?"

[Givrillian Sarpedon]

<As the ship came out of Warp, the viewscreen changed to show the current scene; an Intrepid-class ship, the Evolution, and in the near-distance (i.e. not too far away, but not too close yet) another ship, indistinguishable at this magnification.>

"Captain, we have dropped out of Warp, right by the USS Evolution. From what the navigational sensors are telling me, there's another ship in the vicinity. I can't tell with my instruments, but it might be a Heraani ship. Kassie? Can you identify it?"

[Taurik]

Taurik materialized in his ready room from his psionic teleportation. He removed his robe, and placed his Khaydarin crystal than Master Techerakh gave him into the secure lockbox. The Vulcan then sighed, cocked an eyebrow, and stepped promptly onto the bridge.

"I apologize for my unannounced absence, I had imperative matters to attend to."

Taurik sat in the command chair as Commander T'lana moved to the science console. He was a bit taken aback, after being in the dark, seemingly earthen surroundings of the Heraani fortress, by the brightly lit, nearly medical sterility of the Federation bridge.

"Report."

[Taurik]

Taurik, upon the docking of the Kelata, instead teleported himself to Admiral Karelia's office. "Admiral, sir, I need use of the Radiant Thunder. Commander T'lana and I have discovered a new ally of the Heraan, and the Gallifreyan Council wishes me to find the source of this threat."

[T'lana]

In the absence of the Captain, T'lana had taken the Command Chair.

"Beta is a hologram Mr. Sarpedon, when the station is up and running we shall retrieve it, until then there are greater concerns." T'lana stated in a very Vulcan way.

Having a moment of maternal instinct she walked up to Givrillian and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"I know he is a member of the Rivendell crew Mr. Sarpedon, but until the station is up and running, there is nothing we can do, I am sorry."

T'lana regained her composer and made her way back to the command chair and sat down.

"Well, fair enough. But like the Captain said, we don't really need all his negative comments directed at the crew."
